    If youre looking to start your Loc journey or continue I HIGHLY suggest Empress Locs and Braids!She is professional, educational, and top tier in her field. My son has a very tender scalp and she was patient and kind tohim. We opted for the coil method and we love the outcome. We know this is a process and were happy that Alex is the person that will help see us through!I am very big on appointment time and not having to wait for an extended period for my appointment. We arrived just before our time and she was finishing up on a previous client. We waited about 5 minutes she was ready. On the site it lets you know how long each service will take and quotes are correct. She also does not double book. I loved this because so many places are not mindful of others times and schedules.

    We had an amazing experience with Alexandria at Empress Locs and Braids.My son wanted Locs and she gave him a thorough consultation. She explained about commitment, how to care and maintain, when to wash, dos and donts- it was very educational for him. His hair looks phenomenal and were both pleased with our experience there.

    Great service! I choose loc detox. She did a great job. My hair came out soft and clean. It smells so good. The products she used on my hair worked well. I bought some to keep up with the maintenance. Thanks for the advice on how to keep my locs soft and moisturized.

    I always absolutely love my lashes - started coming to Jean back in 2019. I’m on again, off again with lashes, really just have them for big events or vacations, & Jean always does such a wonderful job. She’s surprisingly quick & the lashes last so much longer than others I’ve had. Highly recommend her!

    Jean has done my eyelash extensions several times which I loved each set! Her expertise when it comes to lashes is amazing!     Jean has been doing my lashes since 2018.. I’ve tried others due to scheduling conflicts and was not satisfied. Now I change my schedule to fit hers lol. Shes professional, pleasant, and my lashes also look on point , even when it is time for my refill. Highly recommend.

    Grand Rising my Sisters & Brothers,This review will give you all the in’s and out’s of my experience with Empress Locs & Braids… I’m here to give you the Sipping Tea!Let me tell you from the beginning to the end was an amazing journey at Empress Locs & Braids with Mrs. Alexandria, she was EVERYTHING!I wanted to start my Loc Journey trying to find the right person was a tad bit frustrating, constantly and daily conducting my research trying to find the right person day in and day out. Must remind you I’m in the process of deploying for a whole year, so (1) the time was limited and (2) I had to find the right person and the right person fast. But how?The Universe has guided me multiple times to Empress Locs & Braids. Meaning every time I found one loc-tician near me my intuition was telling me otherwise. So I decided to make my first phone call on 24MAR22. I stated to her that I lived two hours away and she was willing to work with me by doing a photo text consultation (which was very helpful). She EXPRESSED that interlocking small will be the best method for my texture. Of course I was giving some minor push back because I was nervous of course. I immediately booked my appointment for the 7th of April. Let me tell you I was so nervous and excited at the same time I called and texted her every other three days just to ask questions and to ease my mind and she did just that without any annoyance or irritation.The day arise and I have finally arrived, scoping out the area (Wowwwww) the location placement is very elegant to its pinnacle.The moment I walked into her shop the High Vibration Energy was at its climax (whew). I was able to be me and free, which is hard to say because some salons don’t provide that atmosphere for me (my disclaimer: I can only say this from my experiences). I was able to be my witless self, this place was most defiantly a non-judgment zone! We exchanged stores not knowing that most stories were so similar in a way. She started off by detangling my nappy-ness then gently laid my head back for a message and wash. She then oiled my hair (she makes all her oils by the way, and let me tell you her oils are different, the moment it touches your scalp it’s a soothing that is never felt before). She proceeds to section my hair, oil then trim. (Before the trim I was edgy) Mrs. Alexandria had asked me if it is ok that I trim your hair just a bit. She then proceed into educating me in why most split ends needed to be trimmed, locs will not be able to hold. I simply agreed, after all she’s the one with the magic fingers. She then carried on by creating my foundation/grid and by the look of my hair her parts are clean and crispy. It took longer than expected but what can I say perfectionist always do their diligence on taking there time! She then spins me around, my mouth drops and all I can say is that I cried and fell in LOVE! Yoooooooo Mrs. Alexandria is the TRUTH and most importantly she carries herself with poise throughout this whole process (7hr process). As I payed she blessed me with a crystal charm for my locs that express “New Beginnings”. When she provided me this crystal I had confirmed with the universe that it was leading me to her because through my life as it stands I been starting a lot of “New Beginning”. Please I say again Please do not hesitate to book your appointment with Empress Locs & Braids, either your a first timer starting your new Loc Journey or your just wanting a fresh detox with a fresh twist Mrs. Alexandria will hook you up and I promise you will not regret. (below are photos I took today, I styled the two braids myself, getting a feel with what I can do with my hair).     Alex has been doing my hair for 7 years+ and no one will EVER touch my locs again if they are not Alex! Not only does she make sure your hair is styled beautifully but she also makes sure its healthy. She educates you on your hair and how you can take better care of it, that is what you call a loctician and/or loc expert.She is a very professional and matter-of-fact type of a woman. When shes shampooing your scalp you will transcend into a deep relaxation. I absolutely recommend Alex as a loctician!

    Alex has been doing my hair for a little over a year now. My Locs have grown so much and she’s turned my husband who didn’t like Locs at all—not only into someone who LOVES my hair but he joined the loc family 8 weeks ago. I get NONSTOP compliments on my styles, colors, and loc jewels my @_mrochellenewels_ !!! My Locs are flourishing due to the products she uses! Alex educates me on the care of my Locs, addresses ANY Cconcerns that i have, and has ALWAYS gone the extra mile when i needed her. She’s fair, honest, integral, creative, business savvy, and one of a kind. I’ve been to many locticians trying to find the right fit and as soon as i sat in Alex’s chair—it was a match. Any issues I’ve ever had with her were resolved by a quick conversation. If i didn’t like the way she was styling my hair all i had to do was speak up and there was no attitude given! What an honor to be able to sit in her chair.     Came across Alexandria on fb, after my 1st visit i knew i found my permanent stylist. Not only is she affordable, she makes you feel welcomed. Styles fleek. Shop on fleek.     I was going through some difficulties and care for my micro locs suffered as a result. Ms. Jeffrey is an incredibly talented stylist and she didnt make me feel embarrassed about the state my hair was in. She pulled off nothing short of a miracle in getting my locs and parts back in order, and it was a lot of work. She never made me feel like my THICK hair was a burden. She really shows off her skills in her FB page. Ill always recommend her to people in the Orlando area.If you go to this stylist, please give her a good tip.
