My hairdresser retired, so my husband and I were researching online to find another and came across Fernandos website and video. We were impressed and felt hed be the perfect next step. I made a consultation appointment and was so impressed that the consultation became an appointment that included a cut, color, and a new look for me. Fernando is truly a professional artist who works to create a look that his clients, and their hair, will love! I am so happy to have found him.

Fernando is extremely talented! I especially appreciate that he’s up to date with the latest styles, not to mention that he’s great company. I’ve recently been growing out my pixie cut, which has taken a few months, but Fernando has helped it to be a smooth and easy transition with how well he shapes it. The first photo shows how Fernando has kept my hair from looking awkward as it’s grown out! The second photo is of the first time I tried Fernando years ago, when I was fixing my hair color. My hair has very brassy undertones (which I don’t like), and it’s stubborn when it comes to hair dyes, but Fernando was able to tone it and give me the results I wanted in just one visit. I definitely recommend him for all your hair needs 💇🏽‍♀️✨

Where do I begin. Fernando was referred to me by a very close friend who assured me that I would love him and I absolutely do! I had been growing out my grey for a little over a year and needed to make a decision to either follow that course or color it all. Fernando took the time to give me options and although he loved the grey I was growing out, I made the choice to color it all and he was 100% on board. We chose a color and a highlight and a shorter style that complimented my age and skin tone perfectly. I was overwhelmed and emotional at the reveal and felt better about myself than I have in a few years. The style is current and easy to care for and the color is exceptional. Fernando uses products that are amazing and anyone looking for a stylist that checks EVERY box, should call Fernando Manuel immediately. He is an absolute rockstar!

I get compliments on my hair wherever I go and the style is easy to take care of and looks good until the next haircut! My elderly mother and I both used to go to Fernando for haircuts. He was always so wonderful with my mom. One of her favorite things to do was to go see him. It will always be a special memory to me.I highly recommend him for all your hair care needs.

Fernando gave me a fantastic haircut! He listened and asked questions and thoughtfully cut. I have short hair and the difference between Fernando and other hairdressers is that he is strategic and precise in the cuts, and doesn’t just dive in, cutting away. He is purposeful in cutting the hair.

I hadnt had my hair cut in years due to the pandemic, a new baby with grabby hands, and nursing school. I came in with a thick curtain of hair down to my waist. I suffered from constant headaches from always having it up in clips and buns and the weight gave me migraines. I have been going to Fernando for 7 years and was long overdue for his magic. Now that Im graduating from school and my daughter is old enough to not grab my hair, I was so happy to be able to be fit in just in time for my ceremony.I left the salon feeling so much lighter. Fernando was able to keep the illusion of length as I requested but also add in a ton of layers that helped add texture, movement, volume, and cut off the weight so that my hair didnt feel so heavy. He spent time ensuring that the style was perfect and didnt rush the process.Fernando genuinely cares about his clients and listens to what they want. He is able to create amazing styles like no one else.I highly recommend going to Fernando to see for yourself how amazing he is. You wont regret it!

My husband and I have been going to Fernando for more than 10 years. That is particularly impressive because my European husband is very particular about his hair! He only trusts Fernando! I personally have never found a hairdresser who has the ability to listen to my requests and execute it the way Fernando does. I like to keep things simple, yet (as Fernando knows) I’m still very particular. 😅 I love his cuts because not only do I look great when I leave the salon but the whole grow out looks great as well. I am one of Fernando’s first customer when he was a Tony & Guys at the Fashion Square Mall. Long time ago! I followed him each time he went to a new studio. Fernando is a gifted artist, he has always made me beautiful each and every time I visit him. I have gone from blonde to red from short to long to medium and everything in between. He held my hand when I chose to accept my greying hair color. He has inspired me to always look my best and I do. All though I am a little more aged in life I still look marvelous because Fernando is my hair stylist. Love this guy!!!

I am always happy with my hair and honestly I dont come in and say do this or that. He asks me pertinent questions and I say do your magic. The saloon is perfect for me too. Fernando is my all-time favorite hairstylist/ colorist. Not only, is he talented but he is an amazing human too. I had my first haircut with him in 2005, then I moved to the west coast. When I knew I was moving back to FL I had to track him down lol! I ended up moving to Boca, which is quite a drive. But we make it a day trip each time, my husband, my son, and I are all getting our hair done by Fernando. People make fun of me when I tell them I drive 3 hours one way to see my hairdresser, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s so rare to find someone who truly gets it. I’ve been to many salons over the years, I lived in Paris, Milan, and all over the US but I have to say he is the best. Whether I have a particular request or I just don’t know what to do with my hair and give him creative freedom, I always leave feeling like a million bucks. What makes Fernando exceptional is his technical ability combined with an eye for beauty. He is an artist in the true sense, and hair is his medium - he can cut all hair types and will know how to bring the best out of your natural beauty. Anyway, I am so happy to be within driving distance, and I am already looking forward to my next appointment!

I have been going to Fernando for over 10 years and he is truly an artist. He knows just how to tame my thick, partially curly, partially straight unruly hair in a way that is easy to maintain. I love, love, love Fernando and his new studio. Fernando knows my hair better than I do. He understands how much maintenance I will do (minimal) and adjusts my color and style accordingly. The product selections and recommendations are always on point. He introduced me to Olaplex which does wonders for my fine, but thick, hair.The new studio is a gem hidden in College Park. It is right off Edgewater and in a little bungalow so there is no interaction with anyone else (unless you count his super cute dog).
