I went from shoulder length hair to a very short pixie and Nancy B treated me very well! She cut my hair with scissors first and at various stages checked in to see how short I was comfortable going and see what my hair was doing once it isnt pulled straight by the weight of long hair. They are taking sensible covid-19 precautions: masks for staff and customers, temp checks, wiping down surfaces. I really appreciated that and the great cut and conversation. Im very pleased with the cut and will be back to see Nancy in the future. :)

My daughters decided they wanted to shave their heads. One an undercut and on the side of her head. They did design work in the shaved parts, hearts for both girls but in totally different designs. We stopped the design work (it just added up too fast because my girls hair grows at a comically fast rate) but we still go for haircuts. Both girls just got bobs and they look great!

Ive been to several barbershops, but Floyds 99 Barbershop on Mills stands out as the best by far! My barber, Alex, is truly exceptional. He gives an amazing fade and is incredibly personable, making every visit an enjoyable experience.I had a less-than-stellar experience at the Floyd’s in Winter Park, which left me hesitant to try another location. However, the team at the Mills location completely changed my opinion. The prices are fair, and the quality of service is top-notch.Every barber Ive encountered here has been fantastic, but Alex really goes above and beyond. (headliner) with Floyd’s on Mills in Orlando has been a godsend. A great listener, great conversationalist, and expert at client relations….and a true WONDER at making me feel good about myself with the perfect cut at every appointment. Got a Floyd’s Cut with James and it was probably the most relaxing, attention-to-detail haircut I’ve ever gotten. My hair is really hard to work with due to it being fine and textureless, but it didn’t seem to be an issue for him. Really great work, can’t recommend enough.

This is an excellent Floyds location. Ive been going to Floyds for years in Chicago and am happy to have found my colorist/stylist here in Orlando (shoutout to Brooke). My partner also goes here for haircuts/beard trims and really likes it.The first time I went here my hair was super dry/damaged from another salon trying to bleach blue/green out of my hair. I cant remember the name of the person that helped me, but she gave me a deep conditioning treatment and some excellent product recommendations to continue repairing my hair at home.I recently came in to see Brooke and she did a PHENOMENAL job and made all of my lilac dreams come true. The color is insanely beautiful and I get compliments everywhere I go. She was a dream to work with and I know for sure that Ill be going to her from now on for any cut/color.

First of all I like Floyd’s at Mills AVE because this branch has Dani M. I have been doing my hair since Dani was hired on his first week and since then I can’t go anywhere else just because of Dani. He is true artist and very talented, professional and super friendly and passionate about doing hair. I was his first male client he did coloring my hair at Floyd’s Mills AVE But he has a very long history of being a true stylist and can create any color you want him to do. He listens to me whenever I have any crazy idea about cutting hair in certain way and then he always give me the best advice that fits my hair and face.I always leave the store like a Hollywood star ⭐️ I believe that Dani and he professionalism in cut, coloring , styling and much more made Floyd’s at Mills very sure place. I sent lots of my friend to Dani and they all loved his amazing magical work he can do in a very short period of time. Finally, I convinced my partner to try Dani, as he likes his own barber! But of course I don’t like the way the other store used to cut his hair. After almost a year my partner have decided to try Dani M. He never went back to his old store. He was surprised but actually impressed that a different haircut has completely changed his look & made him very stylish and many years younger and gave him a ton of self confidence.Thank you so very much Dani M, we love you so much and we appreciate that you taken care of our hair in a very high level. The barber that cut my hair at Floyd’s really seemed to care about my personal wants and needs. Alex F took the time to ask questions about what I was looking for, would check in for my feedback periodically, and made the process a breeze. The conversation didn’t seem forced, by the end it was like we could have been friends for years, and it made the whole experience that much better. The haircut was good, but plenty of places give good haircuts, it’s the person that made the difference in my experience and desire to come back in the future. Definitely would recommend to people to come see Alex at Floyd’s on Mills for their haircuts.

Got my hair cut by Dani, super sweet and super quick, got me cleaned up and out in about 30 minutes for a Floyds cut. Dani and I were able to take a few minutes to discuss what I wanted, and thats what I got! This is an LGBTQ+ friendly shop, and not afraid to give a femme-presenting person a mens cut!They will suggest their products, but thats just business, and they dont make a big deal out of it. Parking is limited and the shop is busy, so I highly suggest making an appointment online and making sure you pull up at least 15 minutes early.

Dani is great at making conversation and always remembers what guard number to use with his clippers even if I’d forgotten after a few months. The straight-edge razor shave gives a great finish on the back of my hair and the hot towel on your face while being shampooed feels phenomenal. You should get rid of this Headliner concept. Its a terrible idea. 1. You are selling 20 minute cuts for $40 dollars with headliners. 2. You are basically making 2 classes of hairstylist. Making it seem to the customer that if they dont get a headliner then they are getting a lower quality of service which isnt true. Obviously this will breed contempt within your hairstylists. Its not a good idea

I absolutely LOVE Nancy! I’ve been going to her for my haircut for several years. She always ALWAYS does an amazing job! She never cuts corners and is the absolute sweetest! When friends and family come to town, we head to Floyds. I know Floyd’s wants to keep up with the online booking world but it could be done better. It always worries me knowing that these amazing barbers and stylists have a short 30 minute window to pump out a haircut and somehow do a great job. At least change it to 45 minute blocks to relieve the stress and rush. Please get this right Floyd’s! Don’t rush people in and out and lose what makes you a great barbershop.

Went somewhere else for my big cut during cancer treatment. Horrible experience. Left feeling depressed and miserable. Someone suggested floyds and Im so grateful they did. Jasmine was so attentive and professional. Listened to my need and put me into the right stylists hands. Gabby is an angel with shears! She took her time, made me feel comfortable, and did an amazing job. My hair was so thin and damaged but she brought volume and style back into it. I just wanted to feel a little better about my hair being gone but had low expectations due to the damage. I feel sexy!! Would recommend 100%! Facility is clean, and comfortable. Staff? Amazing!

I love the haircut Kat gives me, and its a neat place to sit and get a haircut. The staff is very friendly. The hours are pretty good. I used to clip coupons and find the least expensive place to get a haircut, but I stopped that and only go to Floyds. Its definitely my favorite place to go.

I’ve been going to Todd for 4-5 months now and I can’t say I’ve been happier with the time, attention and style he’s provided me. What he does is beyond cutting hair; he gives advice and understands what I’m going for without having to explain much. He’s super friendly and I genuinely enjoy my visits as I always leave knowing he’s looking out for me. Floyd’s definitely has me as a customer for life or as long as I’m around one.

Floyd’s has become my go to for haircuts. While I’ve struggled with a lot of inconsistency the past, only once have I had a less than perfect experience here. Jen has become my favorite stylist and is always such a joy to talk to and learn from. The atmosphere here has also always been so fun.

Jon, as always, gave me another great hair cut. Been a long time since I have gotten a full shave and it havent shaved myself in a couple of weeks. Jon was meticulous and took his time to make sure I got a perfect shave. Beard wasnt cooperating as it wouldnt soften, but Jon worked his magic. Thanks again Jon for taking the time on a busy Saturday.

The Lady who did my hair for many years retired . I was devastated thinking how am I going to find another that Im pleased with his or her work. I went to Floyds and met Suzanne she did exactly the same cut as I described because she pays close attention and listens. She is amazing and so enjoyable to carry on conversations with during the cut. I was so lucky because finding a hair stylist is about as hard as finding a Doctor that your pleased with. This was my sons first visit and he absolutely loved it. He felt comfortable there and his barber, Nick, was super nice...funny enough, my sons name is also Nick. The place was clean and they took precautions to keep their customers safe, ie. Masks, sanitizing stations etc. We will definitely be repeat customers 😁👍🏽

I have yet to receive a bad haircut at any of the three Floyds locations I have visited in Orlando. And the quality and atmosphere are remarkably consistent among locations -- they all manage to give off the same casual hanging out listening to records vibe, with both the decor and the truly friendly customer service. Just as a McDonalds fry will taste the same whether youre in Times Square or Red Square, Floyds has discovered the secret to providing consistent services. Always a pleasure.

My favorite place to get my hair cut. Brandi is, by far (no offense to anyone else), my favorite. I recommend her to anyone looking for a fantastic haircut. I always have a wonderful experience here, and when I DID have a bad experience (ONE time, and Brandi wasnt available... It was an emergency haircut) the staff was very friendly and made every accommodation to make things right. 5-star rating, for sure!

I have been to the Mills store and the winter park store and I love them both. The best haircuts I have ever gotten. The barber I love the most is Marissa. She is the bomb diggity. Everyone Ive met there is very professional and nice. I would recommend this place with 10 stars if I could. As a military veteran, I think it awesome that they give a military discount too!I read some bad reviews that the people working there are mean or arent personable, and that they try to gauge you on prices. I think those reviewers were on high on crack. One, like Ive said, everyone there is super friendly. Two, the prices are super cheap for the quality of haircut you get, and the prices are listed on the wall when you walk in! I was there one time when someone didnt like the haircut, and they bent over backwards to make sure the customer didnt leave unhappy.Stop going to whatever crappy place youve been getting your haircuts at and switch to Floyds.

Prior to coming to Floyds today I received a terrible haircut from Great Clips. The receptionists at Floyds took my phone call with kindness and put me on the walk in list over the phone. I only had to wait about 5 minutes after arriving at Floyds, where I then received a fabulous haircut and was met with only kindness and compassion from my stylist Dani. I am a female with long hair and this was my first experience at a barber shop, and I was not disappointed. Fast, kind, exceptional service as well as a fun decor and environment. I definitely will be going to see Dani again and recommend any girl going elsewhere to check out this barber shop!

I got a haircut from Kayla R. I work from home and had let it grow out after some bad haircuts (at other named salons) that caused me to get haircut shy. After 2 yrs no haircuts (except for the one time I cut off my own dead ends) I knew I needed a stylist. She was amazing cleaned up my long hair. Gave me a consultation for style when I have to trim it shorter for when I start interviewing again. I plan on seeing her for that cut and the fear of a bad haircut has gone away.
