    Grove Salon-Lake Nona staff are friendly and welcoming, from the minute I walk in the door. My stylist, Gina, is an expert colorist and we always have a good discussion at the beginning of my appointment about what I want to keep or change with my color treatment. She always manages to translate my sometimes vague ideas into a wonderful result. And the followup trim or haircut is also an interactive process, with Gina listening and then somehow translating my idea(s) into a perfect cut/style. Highly recommend Grove Salon in Lake Nona!

    The Grove Salon has always treated my wife and I so well! Amy is the best; she does a great job with my hair and my wife’s hair. My hair is naturally very curly and she manages it with ease and it looks perfect every time. The prices here are fair and the salon itself is quite nice! Highly recommend checking it out and I cannot recommend Amy enough! She is the best!

    I used to book with whoever was available, but after my first haircut with Katalina, I’ve stuck with her ever since. She consistently does an amazing job and is always kind, thoughtful, and easy to talk to. I can show her just one picture, and she somehow knows how to take that idea and make it actually work for my hair. She gets what I’m going for and makes it look even better than the picture! Cant recommend her enough!

    I started going to this salon last year after being consistently disappointed by the service at my previous Aveda salon. The staff at Grove are attentive, friendly, and helpful. Carlos does an amazing cut and all while being easy to talk to and engaging. I highly recommend Grove Salon!

    I’ve been going to the Grove Salon in Lake Nona for a few years and absolutely love the experience each time. From the friendly front desk staff to Crystal, my hairdresser, and the amazing AVEDA products, I leave each visit feeling positive and rejuvenated (like a spa treatment). And, love the little touches of hospitality like being offered a tea, water, or wine. Highly recommend!

    I visited Grove hair salon during a visit to Orlando from London. A bit of a risk as I didn’t know this salon. I had my hair cut and styled by Gina who did an excellent job. People in London are commenting on how fab my hair looks! She was also very friendly and made me feel really welcomed. Overall 5 stars. Wish I could visit more often!

    Chloe did a great job listening to what I wanted, then took the time to transform my shoulder-length hair to a short, structured cut. I used to have this cut before I moved to Florida and enjoyed it, but no stylist got it right, so I gave up my short hair for years. I’ve found my new stylist!

    Always a good experience at this salon. Been coming for years and always pleased. The time the stylists take to make sure the client is happy is unsuppressed. If a color goes awry (as in oxidation) they will make it right. Not all places stand by their work like that. Gina is my personal stylist and I wouldnt trade her for the world 🌎❤️🥰

    Love this place! They are friendly, responsive and the stylists are amazing at what they do. I just saw Michael for the first time and he nailed the natural look I wanted on the first try! He is so skilled in balayage/styling and made sure to protect my fine hair.     Loved my experience. Maribel was my stylist and she was wonderful. Super professional and listened to what I wanted and asked all the right questions to get me a cut I am extremely happy with. As a mom getting a chance to go get a cut is very rare and it was a wonderful and relaxing experience. She definitely has a return client and I will be letting others I know about her and the salon.I want to show out Empress ( sorry if her name is misspelled!) she greeted me and my son when I came in to book an appointment. She was very personable and sold me on the salon just with how kind she was towards me. It’s hard when you have a child with you walking into a salon and I felt very welcomed.I look forward to my next appointment !

Working with John, the manager, he is greatly experienced and knowledgeable about hair, hair products, and providing excellent customer experience. For a personal hair project, Athina was the stylist who colored my hair FIERY RED for my business event. Throughout the whole process, Athina and John made me feel comfortable at the salon and excited for the results. Ultimately, this could not have come out any better!     Had a great first experience here! Cynthia was my stylist and she gave great advice for coloring over my existing highlights. I love the color and my new haircut! I wanted bangs which are always a little scary to have someone cut for you, but she cut them exactly how I wanted. I also appreciated that I was quoted a price up front and there were no surprises in regards to what I was charged.

    I have been coming to Grove Salon for years. I have only had a few stylists in my lifetime but I love my current stylist. Gina is a complete gem, she has been working with me for the last 2 years and even if she is sick or out, I will not go to another stylist. Last time they tried to have to go to another stylist I said I can’t cheat on Gina, haha. Sadly they recently shut down the Hunters creek salon and moved everyone to the Lake Nona location… Clearly I followed her. Most people won’t drive down the road but I will follow her wherever. I’ve got everything from a basic haircut, hair treatment, partial highlights, to a full highlight, full color, and gloss with her. I’ve never left the salon anything but fully ecstatic with my hair. If you want someone who actually cares about the health of your hair and works to get you to your hair goals, Gina is your girl!!

    Nina at The Grove Salon Lake Nona is a hair genius! I went to her over a year ago with very fine, thin, damaged hair. She has restored it with her TLC! She understands my fine hair type and cuts, styles and offers products that are tailored to ME. I have never received so many hair compliments as when she cuts my hair! She is the best.

    Ive had a couple fantastic cuts here and they did and excellent job with my daughters colored accents! The stylist did a consultation 1st to make sure her hair could handle the chemicals, went over the style and colors carefully twice to make sure it was exactly what she wanted, then nailed the final result. She was thrilled! Not the cheapest place around, but worth it.

    My appointment tonight was with Sasha (may have spelled that wrong) She was amazing! I have been trying to find someone for years now that knows their colors or just how to get to the right color. This was my first time seeing her or going to this salon. She did everything perfect! I left there feeling amazing and in a good mood. My hair looked amazing so I felt that way too! She took her time and did everything nice! The color turned out exact!     It was my first time at this particular Aveda since my other one didn’t have available appointments for the time I needed. My stylist was Cynthia and she made me feel so comfortable! As a nurse I’ve been struggling taking care of my hair since all I wanna do is sleep when I get home and she has helped me feel better about my hair and my curls! I cannot recommend her enough if you have curly hair and want someone who knows how it feels like to have curls!!

    Short story: I and my young adult son get haircuts with Athina. She is amazing in every way. A terrific person and talented hair stylist. Long story: having moved here 10 years ago, I stumbled on one bad haircut after another. I started cutting my own hair because of the stress and anxiety I experienced from bad haircuts. When Grove Salon opened in Lake Nona opened, I gave it a chance and havent left since.

    I rarely leave reviews, but this salon deserves it!I LOVE this salon!!! Kaitlynn (sorry if I didnt spell that correctly!) and Allison were fantastic! The entire staff was extremely polite, respectful and professional. They took their time, asked me what type of color and style I wanted, then walked me through exactly how they could achieve that look. I was very impressed with the result! When I left, my hair was so soft, shiny, and looked amazing! I got compliments on my haircut constantly.This will continue to be my salon, and I will continue to refer my friends and family to this salon. Top notch, seriously. Way to go!

    After 3 years and several stylists, even at other Aveda salons, I finally found someone who can cut and thin my hair with a razor. Ashley is awesome if you are looking for this! In Illinois, central and Chicago suburbs, I always had stylists skilled in using a razor but in Orlando everyone pulled out those scissors with razors and hacked away at my thick hair. It just didn’t work. I have been to see Ashley multiple times and have asked for small variations to my cut and she listened and gave me what I asked for. I highly recommend her.

    I have been coming here for about 2 years. Nick is the BEST! My hair always looks amazing and ever since coming to him, Ive seen a significant change in the health of my hair. I normally get a trim and color every 6-8 weeks with him but just the other day, we did extensions and I am absolutely OBSESSED! I have never been disappointed by AVEDA, in general but Nick is absolutely amazing!!!

    I am new to the area, and when I needed a quick fix on my hair, Allison and Cynthia were very understanding. Not only were they pleasant, patient, and professional, but also honest. What they quoted me over the phone, was exactly what I payed upon completion of service.     The front desk clerk, Gwen, was amazing! I had to ask for her name. She was knowledgeable, had an answer to every question with a smile on her face! First impressions are everything and she definitely gave a great one. We need more people in the beauty community like her! To add, the shop itself was kept clean and organized.     I had the best first experience at Grove Salon with my stylist Evan Gutierrez-Faciane! The salon was comfortable and very clean. Evan was super personable and offered me a refreshing beverage to enjoy during my service. He was knowledgeable and informative on how to best service and take care of my hair. I love that he talked through what he was doing and why he was doing what was best for my type of hair. He was open to hearing what my thoughts were on the type of blonde I wanted to achieve but still gave his very professional input. I was extremely happy with the results and cannot wait to go back for a follow-up service with Evan!

    I highly recommend Kat! I haven’t gotten my hair cut or highlighted since May due to covid concerns. The salon was very well spaced, everyone wore masks, and I felt extremely safe. Kat did a wonderful job on my hair and I have high expectations! She was able to fit me in last minute, took her time, and made me feel beautiful! I can’t recommend it enough.

    Evan is by far the best person ever! Ive been going to him for a lil bit and followed him wherever he went next. Everyone was also so friendly and sweet and I loved the environment. I always let Evan do whatever he think is right for my hair and he does an amazing job every time. Even when I tell him how I would want it, he does it just right if not a million times better than what I asked for. He makes sure youre comfy and happy with the results.     A good hairstylist is not easy to find and Ive found mine here at Grove Salon! Rachelle is a perfectionist with great attention to details when it comes to color and cut.     The salon manager saved my bacon when I had a last-minute appointment cancellation 3 days before a wedding I was in! And my hair was a mess. He was extremely honest about what could / could not be done, we put in place a plan to proceed, and I left the salon 1000% satisfied with my new color and cut.     Today I visited the new Aveda Grove salon in Lake Nona. I absolutely loved the staff, the ambience and Nick my hairstylist.     Before I always went to Supercuts, as someone who didn’t know nothing about hair in the beginning, I always thought my haircuts were decent. Then as I started learning more and more about my hair due to the amount of love I have for it, I realized they weren’t good at all and I always ended up hating how my hair turned out for some reason thinking it was going to change. Finally, I came to conclusions that value=quality, and I looked around for a hair salon and stumbled upon this one. I was able to get an appointment the same day with Evan! Can I first start out by saying, HE IS A GEM! Everything I’ve wanted for a stylist was exactly him, he was welcoming, he knew how to hold a conversation, he was gentle with my hair, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, listened to my concerns as well as what I wanted and he did exactly that! I fell in love with my hair even more and I feel like a fresh breath of air went through it to where I can actually feel confident now. The layerings were perfect and my BANGSSSSSS, omg, nobody has ever done my bangs right so most of the time in the past I just did them myself, eventually let them grow out, and Supercuts took over at that point because I didn’t feel like doing it but Evan gave me actual bangs!!!! More bangs!!!!! And me personally bangs ain’t bangs if it’s just a tiny sliver and that’s exactly what Supercuts kept doing. My hair feels so much healthier, he fixed my ugly skinny V that was at the bottom that made my hair look dysfunctional, and importantly, which most stylists have a habit on doing it, he KEPT my length! Thank you so much Evan and you are now my stylist!

    Love this salon. Everyone is so friendly and nice but I’ll tell you right now that they’re secret weapon is EVAN! Wow. I’ve been trying to become a nice rooted blonde for about TEN years but no stylist has gotten it right (not everyone wants to be icy white or root to tip blonde!) - until I met Evan. Not only is he kind and easy to talk to, but he truly LISTENS to his client and what they’re looking for, he gives his honest opinions, and then he works his hair magic!
