    Convenient location, plenty of parking and a laid back atmosphere.Not all of the hairdressers are exceptional, but they are friendly and can give you a decent haircut.An appointment is recommended even though its generally not crowded, and if you plan to go back to the same hairdresser as they keep changing day to day

    I was driving down university and looked on google for the nearest menā€™s haircut. Lady Janes was right near the hotels by UCF where I was at. I stopped in for the first time not sure what to expect. Iā€™m not big on barbershops, and I usually cut/style my hair myself (quite the task). I have an important event tomorrow, so I wanted it to be cut professionally. Carlos greeted me as soon as I walked in, but he was the only barber there, and he was finishing up with another customer. I signed in and waited approximately 10 minutes in their comfy lounge chairs where there are TVs on for when your phone dies like mine did. Carlos invited me to sit down at his station and proceeded to ask questions about my preferred style. He went as far as showing me styles on his iPad to confirm what I wanted. We had a cool conversation about entrepreneurship, while he seemed totally focused on listening AND doing a great job cutting my hair. Carlos seems to be committed to his work and doing the most for his clients. I will return and request Carlos if I am in the area again needing another haircut.

    Lady Janes balances a relaxed atmosphere and professional stylists at an incredibly reasonable price. Carlos, whos given me an excellent cut twice now, is a talented barber who pays careful attention to the individual needs of his clients. He takes the time to discuss both the cut youre envisioning, as well as the style and products needed to align the cut with your preferred look. Sofia was another employee who stood out by offering her opinions and wisdom when I wasnt even her client. I will definitely be returning for another haircut sometime soon!

    Iā€™ve been going to this spot since I moved to Orlando 3 years ago.However, Iā€™m writing this review to publicly shout out Carlos for his amazing customer service and technique. He kept a great conversation going, made me feel extremely comfortable when I was getting a haircut Iā€™ve never tried before (Iā€™ve gotten the same haircut for 5 years), and truly did an amazing job. I left the store Sunday feeling awesome and just had to make sure anyone who reads reviews makes sure to check Carlos out because he knows what heā€™s doing!!!!

    LISTENNN. Mr. Carlos Cains????? That man is the GOAT. He is utterly amazing. Iā€™ve gone to him twice now and Iā€™m going to keep booking with him. There is no denying his greatness. He is a master with the tools: he cuts my hair beautifully and trims my beard to perfection. We have a great conversation every time, too. In my last visit, I had fun listening to him detailing his approach and mindset to hairstyling, which to him is an art. He asks me all the right questions so he can style me to my needs, and he comes through every time. Carlos does NOT miss ā€” in fact, he would have to TRY to miss. This is your person.     Whole family needed haircuts and I had seen this place so we stopped by and went inside since they had no customers. We got haircuts for 2 men, 1 woman, and a 2-year old. Everyone loved their cuts and my 2-year old handled it pretty well. The stylist I was paired with was newer and handed me off to someone who could better make the pixie cut that I wanted, and I appreciate that. I got my hair cut with Laura and she was fantastic. I highly recommend her and will be back, even though this is clearly a mens salon.A few people came in after us as walkins and understandably had a wait. And got huffy even though they were greeted and told of the wait.I do think this is the kind of place where the stylist rents the chair and charges her own prices. Im not surprised at all by those comments about varying prices.I am shocked at how many people left 5% tips while we were there. Wow.

    Iā€™m from out of state. I was cut by Carlos and was more than pleasantly surprised. You usually donā€™t expect this kind of quality from a chain. Carlos did a great bald fade, trimmed and lined up my beard and mustache. Thatā€™s not it, he applied scalp moisturizer, beard oil, and spritzed my whole head with aftershave. I went there to just look presentable, but now I feel like I have to go out on the town. Highly recommend if youā€™re a guy that likes a short, crisp, and clean look.

    I am the traveler. Now first I have my own barber back home, Iā€™ve been going to years. But as a traveler, sometimes you just got to get a cut, and clean on the road. Being in the area and never supporting franchise salons I gave it a try out of convenience. Ylanka was there by her self, customer in chair and one waiting. I check in she immediately said hello. Then proceeded to tell me she is the only one on duty to cut my hair. I said Iā€™ll wait. When it was my time for a cut. She was awesome I never expected to receive the amount of courtesy I received. Ylanka you are amazing this was the best experience Iā€™ve have ever had. The precision to detail was beyond anything Iā€™ve experienced. And the pride you have for what you do is untouchable. My experience was so amazing Iā€™m am sad I may never have an opportunity to have Ylanka cut my hair again. For Iā€™m the traveler. If anyone reads this and has the opportunity for Ylanka to cut your hair, she is worth the wait.

    Went in for a hair cut and beard trim. Carlos Cains was amazing. He listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly that! I have received so many compliments.     I just wanted to say thanks to my stylist, Ylonka. I have never had anyone provide me with a more detailed cut and beard trim. If you are going to the Lady Janes on University, Ylonka is your girl. I have been going to Lady Janes on University for about eight years now. I have always had really good cuts at this location. They always provide top notch service.

    Quite the best hair cut Ive ever had, friendly and affordable. One of them is recently retired military and sometimes I have a hard time explaining the requirements and he knew exactly what to do without cutting to short and still making it look nice. I forgot his name but thanks to the retired infantry man for making something that used to be a hard thing to describe to something easy.

    Every time I come to this place, I definitely have no issues with who cuts my hair, cause theyā€™re all great. But recently I got my haircut done by Anna and she has definitely outran all the other previous experiences Iā€™ve had here. Will now be making appointments with her cause sheā€™s fun to talk with and makes you feel relaxed. Kings Treatment is the way to go for the full experience or at least try it once, cause I guarantee it wonā€™t be your last time

    This place has been fantastic. Im giving it 5 stars because they give great haircuts. No b.s they dont persistently try to sell you on some shampoo or massage or somthing.     This place great! When I walked in the girls greeted me right away! I had Anna as my stylist. I told her that I needed a new hairstyle cause the one I had wasnt working with my new job (Im always outside). She was able to give me a new shorter cut but Im still able to style pretty cool! Ive gotten so many compliments on my new haircut! The scalp and neck massage was AMAZING! I noticed shes a licensed barber so I got a shave and line up with my cut!! Very professional and very fun a bubbly. The atmosphere is very nice! Got to enjoy sports on the tv at my station. The chairs are super comfortable. All around amazing experience!

    I absolutely love this place! I love the waiting area, the reception I receive from the friendly staff when I come in, and especially the excellent haircut I receive. I always get the MVP treatment because it is so worth it. Iā€™ve been using the same barber here for over a year: Anna James. She cuts my hair so great and I have never gotten as many compliments from other people before as I have whenever she cuts it. Then, after I get my haircut, Anna gives me the best neck and shoulder massage I have ever had, even better than an actual massage place. She is so wonderful and sometimes Iā€™ll even come in just for the massage without even getting a haircut. I would HIGHLY recommend getting the MVP treatment from Anna. You will be so happy you pampered yourself!

    I absolutely love this place. I have searched for a good hair cutters/barber shop for a year now. Today, though, I found this amazing place. I had the pleasure of getting my hair cut from Jackie and honestly she did an amazing job. I will also add that before today it had been at least 3 months since my last hair cut; so she had her work cut out for her. Pun intend. Again, she did an amazing job and honestly was so friendly. She definitely knowns just what to do for each client. I recommend her if you get the chance. Even if you dont get an appointment with her, everyone else does a great job.

    This was my first time going to Lady Janes. The atmosphere was really cool but what really made an impression was my service with Lizzie. She was very accommodating and very friendly. She made sure to know exactly what I wanted. She also gave my honest answers about questions I had about my hair. I already marked on my calendar for my next hair cut.     Ive been here two times and both were with Jackie. Shes full of energy and is very friendly. She does extremely great haircuts and has great attention to detail and wont let will make sure to fix even the most minor issues. Ive gotten the same haircut at different shops for about 3 years now, but after my first time with Jackie I received multiple compliments about how it looked. I went back today for another and look forward to getting my hair cut by Jakie again in the future!

    Been there twice so far and saw Anna both times. She has been truly amazing and she is an excellent stylist who knows what she is doing. Super friendly, enjoyable to talk to, and really puts a high quality into her service.As for Lady Janes, this place is a step up from a normal barber or salon. The price is below average for a haircut than what I normally spend ($12). I get a hot towel, little massage, razor to the hairline, and styled. They have extra packages for a more luxurious haircut experience too.I think Ill be getting my haircut here for a long time.

    Went in hoping for the best as my normal stylist for the past 7 years was booked and I needed a cut for a special event. I am very particular about my hair is cut, especially since being used to one persons style for many years. Anna was extremely personable, easy to talk to and gave me a perfect cut the first time. She was extremely detail oriented, going as far as measuring lengths of hair from side to side during the cut to ensure it was even. I cant say Ive ever seen that before and I thank her for it because it shows how much she cares about her profession. Extremely recommended

    Ive been going here for about a year and a half now, and I Iove this place. It has a friendly environment, and the staff is great. The last few times I had Anna J do my hair, and shes awesome!     Iā€™ve been to many places to get my haircut and this is, by far, the best place. You get there and they treat you like a king. Haircuts, scalp massage, back massage...itā€™s the best place for a man to go and get pampered. The staff is super accommodating and friendly. I personally recommend that you ask for Anna.     This is by far the best place I have gotten my hair cut. Friendly staff with a relaxed atmosphere. Hair cuts are long and thorough; never rushed and always look great. Lizy is my go to stylist. She gives the best head and neck massages that nearly put you to sleep. I could feel the stress from work disappear. Five stars is not enough for this place.

    This is one of the best places to get your haircut. Great music, comfortable seats and TVā€™s in the waiting area and personable people to talk to. Prices are just around par with the other franchises but the value is much greater. Anna is by far one of the best haircutters that I know. She takes her time to make sure things are done right and will accommodate around your schedule whenever possible. She will also add her input for those who arenā€™t sure exactly what they want and she definitely shows her experience with the styles she recommends.     I started going to this Lady Janeā€™s when I first moved here last year. All the girls are very friendly and welcoming. I met Anna on my third trip in to get a haircut and Iā€™ve been going back to her since. Anna is funny, friendly and very talented. Iā€™m very picky when it comes to my haircuts, but she is patient and a quick learner. Now all I do is walk in and sit down and she knows exactly what to do. I wouldnā€™t go anywhere else!

    I have been going to this location for my haircuts since I discovered it some months ago after having moved to Orlando. I dont usually have any preference in terms of who cuts my hair but, yesterday I got my haircut from Becca G and she was amazing! Had a relaxing time and great conversation. Im very indecisive with how I want my hair at times and she helped out with advice on everything I asked her and was also awesome to talk to.     Been going there for almost a year now and every time is top notch service. I usually get taken care of by Anna if sheā€™s available and sheā€™s always nothing but smiles. Sheā€™s always willing to be conversational if youā€™re feeling talkative that day or just get your haircut done quick if youā€™re in a rush and just want to get down to business.     Just finished getting my first haircut at this establishment and all I can say is that all my expectations were blown out of the water. I highly recommend booking with Brittney sheā€™s a delight to talk to and an absolute sweetheart! She also happened bless me with one of the best haircuts Iā€™ve ever received and turned me from homeless to hotshot šŸ˜Ž. But on a more serious note Iā€™d give more stars if I could.     Iā€™ve been coming here for over a year and consistently get fantastic haircuts. I was in a pinch today, and needed a haircut fast. I was unable to get my usual stylist Lizzie (who always does an amazing job) due to her schedule, but today I had Becca G.     Yesterday was my first time on Lady Jane`s and it was above and beyond my expectations. From the hostess to my beard stylist, everything was really well taking care of. I got the luck of having Anna James helping me and from the beginning she was very friendly and , most important, paying attention to my requests. As a business consultant my self I am very picky about customer service and you guys deserve an A !! But Anna deserves an A+ as she was describing all the services that you have and in the end my simple demand for a beard trimming evolve to facial treatment and I am sure that if I stayed longer there I would end up doing more stuff simply because of her way to explain.     Every time I go to Lady Janes I have Anna James cut my hair. She is by far one of the top 2 hair dressers I have ever had. She always makes sure you get exactly what you want and she does not let you leave without making sure your haircut is perfect.     Amazing place, no where in Orlando can you get all the services they offer under one roof. If you go here and see not utilizing all of the services they offer you are depriving yourself and you dont even know it.     I canā€™t say enough about the amazing service I got here at Lady Janeā€™s! I live in Jacksonville but Iā€™ve heard so many great things that I decided to swing by on my way down to Disney. Iā€™ll just have to say that Anna was absolutely amazing and she treated me so well that now Iā€™m making it a point to stop every time I come into town!     Anna is one of my favorite Barbers, she is outgoing, easy to talk too and can cut your hair the exact way you would like it. I walk out every time, feeling refresh and motivated. The Atmosphere is very relaxed and all my favorite sport channels are on all the time, so I can catch up on whatever I missed.

    Used to go to the winter park location but now that Ive found Anna at the UCF location I wont get my hair cut anywhere else.     Iā€™ve gone to LJ for the better half of 5 years, and have gone through many of their ā€œstylistsā€, each giving me hit-or-miss cuts. It wasnā€™t until late 2022 when Iā€™d started to get my hair cut by Hope, a deaf hairdresser, that I began consistently received amazing cuts. Since then I only go to LJ for Hope, and cannot recommend Hope enough. Itā€™s refreshing knowing that when I come into LJ and Hope is working I donā€™t have to meander my way through pointless small talk about each others day, what I do for work, or any other shallow ā€œdead endā€ conversations.     Let me just start off by saying Tyler at the University location took care of me like no other. I came in looking like it had been 3 months since I got my hair cut.
