    This was my first time getting my hair professionally straightened and I had such a great experience! I was welcomed here and I got the best scrubbing for my hair wash that was amazing! The staff was very nicee to me and communicated with me throughout the process. This place was great and fast! I came back a second time and everything was amazing and is treated very well by the owner and the staff. My hair lasted for 2-3 weeks and I will definitely come back for more services like a hair relax. 10/10

    I feel so happy and Blessed to have found this hair salon. Maria is a true professional. She will tell you the truth about your hair care needs and help keep or bring your hair back to a healthy state. They can do all textures of hair and you will leave looking brand new. My ends were unhealthy and damaged, so she gave me a nice cut and hair treatment. (See before and after pictures) The salon is also very clean and spacious.     I’ve been going to Maria for a little over a year now and I will not let anyone else touch my hair. I usually get my hair cut in layers and I love how she styles it as well. She’s also affordable. Also when I wash my hair out there’s no heat damage.

    They are amazing!!!! this was my first time EVER having a silk press let alone having my ends clipped they asked me what i wanted to do before they did it and let me know what they were doing. The wash was amazing the conditioner made my hair so soft and she treated my hair so good for hydration i fell asleep at the bowl! I didn’t even think my hair could press like this and they wrapped it at the end i love it !!! 1000/10 review COME HERE! Very affordable! Less than 70$ Plus i tipped!

    Maria DR salon is one of the Best hair salons I have been to. My hair was previously damaged by another Dominican salon, and within a couple of months, Maria healed my hair and now it is healthy looking and has grown beautifully. Her prices are very reasonable and she will not sell you anything you dont need. She truly cares about your hair and takes pride in her work. I highly recommend this salon.

    Wow wow wow is all I can say. For one they are professionals who understand ones needs and preference in style. I absolutely fell in love with this salon. Since I moved from New Jersey 7 years ago I have never been to a salon who can cut my hair even and actually TRIM the hair without making me feel bald after. A lady with blonde hair washed my hair and left my hair so clean I felt the water through my scalp. After Maria blow dryer and straightened my hair. It was dead straight and after trimmed it. She did amazing!!!! They did amazing!! I didn’t wait forever to be seated in the booth and she is the only person who cut my hair even with no hesitation or issues. She also didn’t recommend layers, which every Dominican stylist recommends because my hair is thin and there is one piece of my hair that doesn’t grow well. She also analyzes your hair and recommends what oils or treatments to get/use. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this salon and will forever be coming here. Thank you Maria and her team.     I love this hair salon it is the most wonderful hair salon I have ever been too, from the moment I walked in the door I was treated with respect and kindness. Maria is amazing she makes you laugh and have fun while getting your hair done. This salon is also bilingual (English and Spanish) which can be great for people who are struggling with their English.     The staff were excellent and very nice. It took longer for them to do my and my daughters hair than Im used to, and it cost more than I anticipated however I was extremely happy with the end results.The salon was nice and clean. We will definitely be going back. Oh and she gave me a coupon choice for a free conditioner or hair cut on my next visit I chose the conditioner.

    I absolutely love coming to Maria DR salon, I came to her for a simple wash and set and now I am a loyal customer. She does amazing colors and also did a keratin treatment.     I highly recommend this salon. I am a black female. Wanted to transition from perm to natural. Did not need to cut all my hair off. I’m very happy with the good quality hair care I’m receiving here at Maria’s. My services are always on time. I don’t have to wait half the day (like other salons). My hair has really flourished to long, healthy and now a full head of hair. My edges have really come back and the lengthen of my hair has grown a lot.     Maria has been doing my hair for years now! She and her staff are professional and very skilled at doing hair. They cut, color, do keratin, relaxers etc. Maria is the only one who cuts and does my Keratin. With her expert technique I’m able to still keep my curls for my wash and wear style but I can also have my hair sleek, smooth and straight to stand up to the Florida humidity! Her prices are very reasonable too ! Highly recommend giving them a try - you won’t regret it.

    This was our first visit using Maria’s salon. She was honest when asked questions (which is a great quality cause some hair salons don’t care and will take your money regardless) , and very professional.     I have been going to maria since I was in high school! She did my hair for my graduation in 2013 ! I love her attitude and I love how she always has my hair. I did a big bleach and dye 3/4/21 and it took almost 7 hours but in the end it came out perfect. She can do natural hair no matter what race you are or texture hair you have & can get your hair healthy if you let her...The other ladies are just as wonderful when it comes to doing hair too but maria will always be my go to lady 😁

    Marias Dominican Salon is the best place for all hair types. When enter her salon everyone is very friendly from the time you walk in to the time you walk out. She treats her customers like family. Her salon is the only place where I trust everyone to do my hair ,because they all put in their best work and care on your hair. Both me and mother live on the other side of town and there are many salons where we live but we only come to this salon because out of all the salons Ive been to ,none of them are like Marias. My hair is healthy, and has been growing well because her and her stylists are great at their job. I recommend this salon to anyone.

    Have nothing but the best experiences. I have known Ms. Maria for a little over decade. Started going to her since I was 13/14 and over the years I have had a couple other stylists but my hair was always done the best here. Best hair and guest experiences. And now I am in my mid 20s. And I am back with Ms. Maria and my hair has always looked and felt the best.From rinses to blowouts and to relaxers, my hair has never felt lighter and healthier with no else but by Ms. Maria and I have thick hair. And I will be making 45 min drive to get my hair done because no one takes care of my hair the way Ms. Marie has done.     Originally from California new to Orlando I was desperately in need of a Keratin treatment and color. I began to google salon all over and found one of Old Winter Garden. When I went there they were very rude and told me I couldnt get what I wanted because my hair wasnt healthy enough. I then went on Google again, Maria Dr Salon was the first one that popped up, I called and coincidentally it was right across the street. I went and Maria and the other lady was so welcoming. I explained what I needed and I was helped right away. Maria knows so much about hair that she was able to explain to be the safest way to go about it. So I decided to get the color and come back for the Keratin. Today I went back to get my Keratin and Maria did an amazing job. She was so gentle and really took her time. I love my hair.     My real hair was so damaged and didn’t have any volume, due to wearing wigs everyday. Maria deep conditioned and trimmed my hair. I purchased some products from her, which was much cheaper than purchasing on amazon. Within a month my hair started to get some length and fullness. I am so thankful and grateful that she encouraged me to start taking care of my real hair. I feel so comfortable wearing my real hair now. It’s like I am a new and improved woman.

    It was a wonderful experience. They treated me very nicely. I had a Dominican blowout and it was a nice experience. They lady gave me a wonderful scalp massage while washing my hair. I was kinda a handful because even since I was a child I couldn’t do flat irons and hot combs. She was patient with me and my hair turn out wonderful.

    Maria’s salon gets my quality shampoo washes, deep conditioning & blowouts right every time !!! Maria & Maribel are my go to choice for blowout services since I have such thick really long natural curly hair and they detangle and manage my hair so well getting it bone straight! Highly recommended for service (suggest booking an appointment time rather than walk in).The only reason I gave it four instead of five stars is because there was a price change that increased by $20 and wasn’t mentioned until after. I suggest asking how much it costs before getting your hair done so the expectation is clear and prices don’t change.

    So I came to Mrs.Maria after taking out some braids and omg my hair was not healthy. Mrs.Maria brought my hair back to life with deep conditioning clipping my ends and offering me the products to maintain my hair that she sales for in between visits.     Maria is the owner and she is part of the day to day making sure everything runs smoothly. I like how she has one person that does one thing. Meaning you have one person who washes hair and someone puts the rollers in hair and someone flat irons or style your hair. I think its a very proficient method. I got the Karetin treatment wash and flat iron for a good price cheaper than all othe place i checked. I would recommand anyone to try this place.Update: this place is still the best.     This was my first time visiting here and Ive been searching for a salon that I can feel comfortable and have one great stylist my mind was made up when I walked into that salon I wanted to change my whole color and get a color correction my desire was to get back my original color Im a brunette but I wanted it a bit like a cup of hot chocolate when u add cream in it but veering towards a biolage look, anyway long story short Candy asked the owner to consult with me regarding what I envisioned well I was knocked down completely I went in with my semi-dark wine look I was told that the color i want plus the biolage will not take in my hair it would turn Orange!!! I was shocked so I just said the heck with it but I was very upset I needed to cut it n get it next time around so to touch the greys I was told to pick a color similar to what had already I did. But what I dont get is if the color had been of good quality why would my greys come back after 3-wks of coloring my hair? I usually color my hair every 6 to 7-weeks and I get it from a beauty store Im not too happy about that the color faded too and my greys were back I will address it with the owner when Im due for my trim.. I can truly say Ive hit the jack pot with Candy tho It felt like weve known each other for a long time we clicked. She is very professional and attentive to detail over all Candy is amazing she put layers in my hair I wouldve preferred a bit more from the end of the crown in the back next go aroundIm definitely going back Im sure once I get a repore with my stylist and Maria the owner I will feel more at ease that was only my first time I do thank Maria for her honest opinion regarding the health of my hair and to continue with the treatments/deep conditioning etc..
