Ive had two haircuts with Mat now, and both were excellent experiences. Mat is extremely detail-oriented and personable, and strives to get things JUST RIGHT for you. And, hes really good at what he does.The first time, I came in with very long hair (past shoulder length), which just wasnt working for me, so I had a consultation with him first for a new look; we settled on a look that was a bit adventurous for me, but I was looking forward to trying it. I got SO many compliments from coworkers and family; it was very flattering!But after living with it for a few months, it was still a bit more maintenance that I preferred, so I came in again for a new look with a bit of a shorter style. Once again, Mat worked his magic, and I absolutely loved the new look.My social batteries were also running pretty low that day, and Mat was totally okay with me just closing my eyes and resting while he cut my hair, which was exactly what I needed after a long day at work.If I had to complain about anything, it would be that now Ill never be able to go back to Hair Cuttery or Supercuts again; Mat is the only one Id trust to handle my hair now, lol. His price point may be higher than those assembly line haircut places, but he is worth every penny.Thanks for the excellent haircut experiences, Mat! Looking forward to my next haircut!

I have never given this high of a review but Mat deserves it! In short, I messed up my hair and beard and needed help! Mat could see how badly I messed up and recommended a solution. He gave me the best cut ever, cleaned up my beard, and colored my hair (which I have never done) and I am amazed at the results. The man is a genius!

Ive felt comfortavle experimenting with different hairstyles with him. Hes done great work w my tricky asian hair texture, and helped me understand my at home hair care and styling better. Hes very experienced and it shows.
