I’d previously gotten services (hair coloring and Keratin) at Theory back in 2020 with Alexia — literally right before the world shut down — and had a great experience. Life took me in a few different directions since then and I recently found myself needing a stylist again after letting my hair grow out for about two years. I went back to Alexia for a haircut and styling at Theory and had as lovely of an experience as the first time. I was reminded how much I enjoyed the environment and the attention to detail/expertise that Alexia puts into delivering on her client’s requests and ideas. I’ve been to other salons in the downtown Orlando area and the staff are rude, condescending, and standoffish. This has never been the case at Theory. I’ve always been welcomed as I am and cared for — just like any client looking to feel good and navigate their personal style. This has been particularly difficult for me since Covid and Alexia helped me feel better in my own skin today. I would recommend Theory and Alexia to anyone.

I love Angeles!!!! I’ve come for color, a scalp treatment, and back to dark now. She even added my previous hair dye into a hair mask so I could refresh my color and hydrate my hair at the same time. In love with my results every single time I already can’t wait to come back.

The salon has a very good vibe, and every one there seems to enjoy what they do. This was my second time seeing Sarah, and she is wonderful! Im not much of a talker during hair appointments, and I enjoyed that she didnt try to push conversation. The service here is wonderful! Its my go-to salon. Youre treated well from the second you walk in, starting with the receptionists who are kind and efficient. I love the ambience in the salon! Theres a nice seating area and your always offered something to drink by the staff. My hair stylist is Angeles, and Im always amazed by the way she does my hair! Her communication skills are top-notch, and shes very detail-oriented. Shell always make sure to understand what I want before doing anything to my hair, and thats why Im always in love with the final result!

Angeles is great with my 2B or 2C hair. And she’s very caring and funny. Don’t think I’ll be switching a hair person after having her. She’s very knowledgeable on products and hair care. Seriously. It’s insane. She’s great.I deal with heavy dandruff, buildup, dry mid-to-end hair, oily scalp. She listens to what I want and is able to tell me the best methods and we find a great inbetween.

First and foremost, my hair stylist Julie is an absolute godsend! She is a master at hair, and she completely exceeds my expectations every time! Her cutting and colouring skills are incredible. When I first came in I had the crispiest pitch black nightmare frizzy hair with breakage everywhere, every hairstylists worst nightmare! Julie never once made me uncomfortable and always had my best interest in mind. She is so sweet and lovely to talk to and will make sure you are 100% comfortable during your entire visit. She really does care about her clients hair, which for me was such a rarity as I’ve been to countless salons and never truly felt like my hair needs were being listened to. Julie has transformed my hair into my DREAM hair with masterful cutting / layering, and color correction - she really is incredible! Her genuine passion for hair is abundant and so clear.The salon in general is also amazing, the atmosphere and energy is super chill and all the girls are so sweet! Just got my hair done with Julie yesterday. I think the pictures speak for themselves, but she did an incredible job. During our consultation, she was extremely thorough and made sure we were both on the same page on what to expect from our first appointment together. She was able to get me what I wanted while also maintaining the integrity of my hair. She is extremely nice and easy to talk to and I really enjoyed my experience with her and the salon. Already booked my appointment to go back!

10/10 recommend. vibes of the salon were excellent and they make you feel very welcome. julie was my hairdresser/stylist and she was the best stylist i’ve ever gone to, and i’ve gone to a lot! she made me feel comfortable and heard for my hair goals and expectations. i was only here for a pretty simple trim but we discussed potential options and came to some decisions together that i am so pleased with. my hair felt healthier and happier when i left the salon, and i left with innovative cuts that i’d never heard of. julie is incredibly personable, talented, well-informed, and it’s overall a joy to be in her chair. this was my first visit to this salon and i will return for the next haircut!

I have only been coming to Theory Salon for a short time now but I have been with my hair stylist Britani for almost 2 years. Even though I’ve only been coming to Theory Salon for a short time I love it! It’s clean, the staff is so friendly and I love the whole vibe of the salon! The salon is so open with natural lighting, and is very inviting. My stylist is Britani and she is the best in Orlando! I followed her from another salon that’s how much I love her work. She has truly brought my hair back to life. She is so kind, knowledgeable, and will help you on your hair journey!! I cannot recommend this salon and Britani more! Parking is either in the tiny lot next door or across the street in the Lake Highland overflow lot.

Theory is the ultimate “girls girl” of salons. The lighting is bright and beautiful, everyone is incredibly welcoming, and the whole vibe is a perfect blend of cozy and trendy. Julie took time to talk with me about my hair, explaining the science behind it and why it behaves the way it does, making the whole process feel collaborative and open. I don’t color my hair, and sometimes that can feel like an afterthought at other salons—but here, I felt genuinely cared for and listened to. I left with a haircut better than I could have imagined. I am a natural red head and I finally decided that I wanted to put some color in my hair. I went to the salon with an inspiration picture in hand and showed it to my stylist Star. She looked at the picture and adapted it to make it work for my natural hair color and it turned out better than I could have ever dreamed! I was a little nervous about putting color in my hair for the first time but Star was able to put my mind at ease by telling me that she wants to enhance my natural hair color. Star took the time to listen to what I wanted and she also took the time to educate me on how to care for my hair now that it has color in it. Star is so incredibly talented and I cannot recommend her enough! I could go on and on but Ill let the before and after pictures speak for themselves!

Theory Salon is literally the best salon in Orlando - hands down. Yesterday was my first experience with using them for my hair, and I will never go anywhere else.I scheduled with Alicia so we could discuss what I wanted done to my hair. My hair was extremely long and hadn’t been colored in 2 years. I felt like she really listened to what I was looking for and I trusted her opinion when it came to cut and color. And I am so glad I did! My hair has never felt better, I am obsessed with the color and texture of my hair all thanks to her! She definitely knows what she’s doing. She is also a great conversationalist so you are never bored! It was so much fun to just chat.The salon itself is incredible with such a cool vibe, and when they say their motto is kindness, I truly felt it. The chairs are so comfy, even the wash sinks have little head rests in them so they don’t hurt your neck. It’s all in the details y’all! They use the best smelling products too (which I had to stock up on because they smelled so good and they were also having a good deal on their products haha).Thank you Alicia for fitting me in during all of this craziness and for making me feel like a whole new person with this hair. I’ve never been so touched by the experience at any kind of business to even consider writing a formal review…until now. Theory Salon is the all-inclusive resort of hair salons! From start to finish, the experience is immaculate, and Ashton is AMAZING!I started with a very thorough consultation with Ashton where we talked about my hair goals. I instantly got good vibes! Ashton is so funny, sweet and kind and I really felt she easily understood exactly how I wanted my hair to look (I was going significantly blonder, but I’m very picky about my blonde). Two weeks later I had the appointment, it was 6.5 hours long (lol) which anywhere else would probably feel like forever but at Theory it was so comfortable and relaxed I didn’t mind at all. Ashton took her time perfecting my hair and at no point did it feel like the process was being rushed.One of the best parts are their shampoo bowls, they are so comfortable around the back of your head/neck you could lay there forever. Every other place I’ve had my hair washed at the shampoo bowls hurt my neck after a few minutes of laying there. I also really appreciate that they don’t allow you to leave after your service with wet hair, they make sure it is dry and styled to perfection before walking out of the door of the salon. These things seem like minor details but you don’t realize how much they add up into creating a 5-star salon experience.This was my first time going to this salon, and I’m so sad I won’t be back since I am moving out of state, but if I were staying local there is no doubt in my mind that I wouldn’t go ANYWHERE else for my hair needs. I have thick curly hair which makes me very picky with who I allow to put their hands on my hair and Angeles has never failed to amaze me after every trim, style or color change. The salon is super cozy and inviting.Whats more, the convenience of ample parking and the abundance of natural light flooding the space make for an even better overall experience. Kelly single-handedly saved my LIFE! I came to her for a color correction and it came out beautiful. She was so thorough with her work, which I appreciated so much. One of my main concerns were all the uneven tones in my hair and she took extra steps and time to make sure they were all blended. Not to mention she is SO FRIENDLY!! Itd been three years since Id last had a haircut as itd just been impossible to find a stylist who I liked and felt like did a good job. Using heat very often, I had a lot of damaged hair, and after deciding it was time to get a cut, I spent a lot of time researching for a stylist. I decided on Bethany after reading several positive reviews and looking at her work on her Insta. Theory was able to get me on her schedule within a week of me calling. Bethany did not rush into cutting my hair for the purpose of staying on schedule; she listened to my hair goals, provided advice, and went to work. She did an absolutely FANTASIC job. I left the salon very happy with the cut, but we all know its the first wash and style of our own that shows a good haircut.....well Im so excited that even after washing/styling it myself, I still LOVE my cut and my hair looks so, so, so much healthier. The staff at Theory were welcoming and friendly and I was taken back to the chair within minutes of arriving. After nearly a decade in Orlando, I think Ive finally found my go-to hair stylist!! I love Britani!! She’s been styling my hair for a very long time and Theory Salon is such a beautiful location. Very friendly, lots of natural light and relaxing. Britani has made my visions a reality, when I wanted my hair black as a raven; when I chopped my hair short after the pandemic. And perhaps the one she had the most fun with, which was highlights and having a much lighter hair tone. She takes her time making sure her work is precise. I have recently been going to Theory and seeing Angeles for almost a year. Ang is great and has been a god-send for my hair. Ang has done a great job getting my hair as I want it, and educating me on the best options to get the color I want with the amount of work Im willing to dedicate to it.I want long, thick, full voluptuous hair with a cool blonde tone that looks natural and importantly, i want to do NO MAINTAINANCE. Mom gave me hair that is naturally dark blonde that lifts red and orange, and very fine. Obviously, this is a hard ask. Ang has done a great job getting my hair to the right color and brightness, and helping me fight it going brassy. Now, my color lasts much longer and the integrity/health of my hair is significantly better.Since seeing her, my hair is so much healthier and I still have the color I want. I have had issues in the past with other stylists that resulted in my hair (naturally dirty blond) looking more green or otherwise not the tone of blonde I want. Ang found the perfect tone for me and has gets it that color every time.The salon overall is great and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. I am usually there a few hours (i get multiple services done and have really long hair) and the team members always seem happy and welcoming.
