I am new to the area and was looking for a braider and I am so thankful to have found Vanessa. Booking from her site was simple and provided clear instructions. Vanessa was helpful even before my appointment day as she replied to me when I reached out to her with questions about my appointment. When it came to the appointment day, Vanessa was thoughtful and informative throughout the entire process. Before we even started braiding, Vanessa washed my hair and provided me with tips on how to take care of it. Vanessa also suggested a regimen on how to keep up the health of my hair in between protective styles. When it came to the braiding, Vanessa kept me updated the entire time with what she was doing to ensure I got the exact style I wanted. Vanessa had great energy and made it easy to sit through the long period of time. My hair turned out beautiful, and I could not be happier.

Vanessa is so warm and kind yet also tells it like it is in the most loving way😄. Getting my hair done was an EXPERIENCE. I love how my braids came out ( I got Medium knotless braids).She is such a lovely person and does excellent work. Plus, the salon is super cute ☺️. The time flew by and I walked out feeling and looking amazing. I rarely do reviews, but Vanessa did her thang and killed it. So worth it and the trip ( Im 40 mins away) but I know my hair will be looking right so its worth it and the price. Like come on this is to fabulous 😍.

My hair experience with Vanessa was great. I had a one on one appointment in her studio and the location is very convenient. I got the spring twist done and received a lot of compliments. My concerns were edges and she did well with covering them with this hair style. She didn’t braid too tight so I was able to sleep well. I will be back.Also this comment was made almost 8 weeks after my appointment and the hairstyle still looks good, but will be coming out this weekend.

I recently had a newborn and although she wasn’t aware my baby was going to be at the appointment she was very compassionate and understanding of my situation. Even gave me helpful advice as a mother. My hair haven’t been done in a few months since being a new mom. Vanessa have great customer service! I highly recommend getting your hair done rather it’s locs, braids, weave… she does it all! Definitely restored my crown. I feel like a new woman!

Vanessa was AMAZING! Let’s start with the fact that despite her no kids policy, she made a huge exception and allowed me to bring my 11 month old daughter because no one could watch her for me. From start to finish, everything was on point. Vanessa started off washing my hair (even asked if she should focus on a certain area), gave a good scrubbing, then moved to blow drying and parting. Loved that she parted the hair beforehand, saved her time rather than doing it one by one. Her parting was clean and precise. At one point, the air conditioning was so cold that I had to let her know and she put her portable heater in front of me to keep my anemic self warm. All in all, Vanessa is amazing and I would definitely recommend! I WILL be back, thank you lovely!

Last Saturday I made appointment with Vanessa to get my Knot less braids done. The experience was awesome. My appointment start at 7:00am on Saturday. Vanessa first washed, condition and blow dried my hair. After my hair was completed dried. She start preparing my hair for braiding. She was very neat, precise when it come to installing knot less braids in my hair. Vanessa made sure I felt comfortable and asked me questions along the way. We talked the whole time during the appointment. She very patient and doesn’t rush through her work. It was such enjoyable experience I really don’t mind the time it took to get the braids done. After she finish with all the Knot less braiding there were additional hair care service she provide to my braids to make sure they would stay in place and neat. I am definitely booking an appointment a can with Vanessa for braid service and will be recommend friends. Vanessa provides so much love, care to the hair, braiding process and takes the time out to get to know individual client on a personal level.

I went here for my first time getting box braids. I must say I had an amazing experience. First of all, I’m really big on customer service, and Vanessa has superb customer service. She was very pleasant to talk to and educated me on hair care as well throughout the entire process. From the conversation over the phone to the day after my daughters hair appointment was very professional. My 11 year old daughter said mom she is so nice she even let me watch a movie on her phone. When my daughter got off her plane I was so amazed at how she even made her hair look so good due to it being so thick! Everybody cant do good box braids on thick hair well at least in Ohio but Venessa did her thing! Venessa even checks in to make sure you like her work which is an absolute plus!
