    The owner is absolutely amazing. She did a consultation with me and helped me figure out the best thing to do with my hair. She was friendly and welcoming and taught me all about my hair and best ways to work with my hair to get the best results. She even gave some ideas for my daughter to do a curly cut. I will be back!

    I visited Urban to get my color corrected. Sam, the owner, was incredible!!! She is a color scientist - a legitimate color scientist! I’ve never been to anyone who took such a detailed approach to correcting color. She didn’t just slap color over it, she sectioned out my hair like a scientist and fixed each section at a time. It was so methodical and detailed. She is incredible and obviously highly trained. Definitely recommend!

    I’m not really a review person but honestly it’s the best hair service I’ve ever received. I had long curly hair and it was very damaged. Sam did a wonderful deep condition and cut my hair perfectly (explaining everything along the way) AND taught me how to properly take care of my curls in the future so they can be as healthy and happy as possible. I have a wedding coming up and I need a colorist so I will definitely be going back. I don’t think I ever want anyone else touching my hair again because I have some horror stories and she is so knowledgeable!! If you have curls that need some love and life to them I highly recommend Sam!!

    I was referred to Samantha by a friend. I am in awe of her talents!!! Samantha is honest, kind, thoughtful and a superior hairdresser. I know, I’ve had lots of them.😎I had a consultation with Samantha first.I was sick last fall and as a result of the common surgical side effects I lost 80% of my shoulder length hair.I was devastated and very emotional.I have attached photos of the absolute magic she performed on my head. I feel 10 years younger!!Her patience and knowledge are extraordinarySamantha has a simple homeopathic process and she shared with me a homemade herbal spray for my hair and did not expect me to purchase $100 of products to get out the door!I am over the moon happy about my hair.     Hannah is awesome! I have curly hair and hadn’t had a haircut in a year, nobody had ever shown me how to take care of it 🙈 I’ve been winging it. Hannah took the time to listen to my concerns, answer my many questions, and more! She was very friendly and I enjoyed having conversation with her throughout the service. She was gentle handed and thorough in her work, you can tell she loves being behind the chair. I’ll be using Hannah’s superior curly hair services while I live in the area. I highly recommend her for curly hair folks! They also sell some great quality hair products. Also - when you call you’ll be directed to a voicemail that will give you the phone numbers for who you want to get in contact with since they’re all separate hair stylists.

    What a wonderful experience. Dont let Hannahs young face fool you of her skill set for the wisdom and knowledge shes learned she expresses perfectly with her hands. Hannah took the time to explain every aspect of the appointment and how to style my curls to suit my lifestyle as I mostly have my hair covered in a scrub cap for work. She is methodical in her work, down to the last curl ensuring it sits in place. I cant recommend this salon and Hannahs work enough. And a shout out to Sam for taking the time to explain what to do when you experience genetic hair thinning/loss. Your time and knowledge are very appreciated.

    Extremely knowledgeable regarding curly hair! Very friendly/homey salon. Definitely the best salon experience Ive had. Hannah is very good at assessing if what the customer wants would actually work well for them. She takes the time to get to know the clients desires and thoroughly explains the process.

    Hannah was AMAZING- I went in for a curly-hair-specific cut. I am in town for a vacation and really needed to get my hair shorter with this heat. I searched online for way too long looking for curly hair specialists in central Florida, and found Urban Hair online. I was able to book an appointment for a few days after I arrived, and Hannah even called me ahead of my appointment to talk about my curl needs and start the consultation. I felt prepared and informed on cut day. At the salon Hannah talked with me about my face shape and complimentary curl cut shapes, and did a dry cut. Then washed while instructing me how to wash and treat and style my hair going forward for maximum curl. She took as much time as I needed to answer all of my questions and was extremely patient with me. I learned a TON.I am definitely booking with Hannah again next time I’m in town!Don’t forget to bring cash or a check- she prefers it over cards 💳 to save you the fees.

    I went to the amazing Rosi for a DevaCut and she is absolutely amazing!! You can definitely tell she loves her job and really takes her time woth your hair. I will definitely be a regular customer now!

    Contacted the salon about curly hair experts! Hannah called me and we spoke about my expectations and she worked me in the following week!     Sam at Urban Hair Studios is extremely talented, passionate, & The Best at what she does! I have unique, thick curls & it took a few years to find someone in the area who understands curls like Sam. Somehow she knew my curls better than I do! She completely transformed my hair with the Curly Girl method & taught me how to enhance my curls on a daily basis. After Sam was done with my hair, my self esteem & confidence with styling my hair quadrupled. Her staff was warm, courteous, & knowledgeable as well. So thankful to have found this salon!

    This was my first visit to the salon. I have natural curly hair and I really wanted someone who knew how to cut it. Fortunately I met Hannah! She is wonderful, and very knowledgeable. She cut my hair and made it look so healthy. I am extremely happy with the salon and will continue to stay with Hannah.

    My sons hair was long and very curly. Hannah cut his hair just like the photo he brought in. She did an amazing job. Curly hair is not the easiest type of hair to cut but she knew what she was doing. She was friendly, professional and skilled at her craft!

    I went today for my first Rezo cut and I have never in my life been happier with a cut! Hannah was wonderful, informative, she listened to what I wanted as the finished product. She went above and beyond. I would highly recommend her to anyone with curly hair. I did not take before pictures but I can definitely post some afters!

    I had a wonderful experience at Urban Hair Studio. Samanta is terrific! She took the time to look closely at what was going on with my hair. She asked a bunch of questions and actually listened to the answers. She cut my hair and explained as she went. She told my why she was cutting what she was cutting, and explained how it would fall as a result. Ive had several curly cuts in the past, but this was definitely the most personalized and caring cut Ive ever gotten. She walked me through her styling techniques so I could replicate them at home. She put me under the hood, but when it wasnt 100% dry afterwards, she diffused it the rest of the way. I never had a stylist spend so much time on me. She made me feel really special and important. My hair turned out great! Ive been looking for a curly hair expert near my home for a long time, and thankfully Ive finally found her! My search is over! Thank you so much, Samanta! I cant say enough good things about you!! She diffused, but I usually air dry. Im attaching a pic of my air dried hair. The curls are popping!!

    This is a great hair salon with helpful staff. I went to see Samanta to get a Deva Cut. She transformed my hair! She took the time to show me how to use the products for my hair, and how to style it. She is the only hairdresser who could ever style my hair better than when I do it! I have never had so many compliments on my hair.I love it, and recommend her to all my curly hair girls! She colored my hair yesterday and it is awesome! All around a great salon with fair pricing. If you have curly hair you need to see Samanta for a Deva Cut, you will be happy you did!

    I recommend Urban Hair Studio to all curly girls. I went here last week for a Deva Cut and Rosie was my stylist. My hair is thick and very curly so I knew it would be quite a task to manage, but Rosie knew how to use the Deva products and style my cut so well. When she was finished she was able to style my hair in a way I had not been able to do ever and I instantly loved it. She is also very knowledgeable about curly hair so you will be in very good hands. I will definitley be going back to this salon.

    I was in desperate need of a hair cut while visiting The Villages. I looked at the reviews and took a chance. It was such a great experience. The reviews are accurate. I was able to get in the same day for very reasonable prices. Josie not only gave me a great cut, but fixed the damage of my past cuts and explained why I had not been happy with them and gave advice for future repair needs. She took so much time to make sure my cut was perfect at the end of the day. I will be visiting my parents more often to get my hair cut here since it was so awesome.

    If you have curly hair this place knows how to take care of you. My non-curly friend also has great hair thanks to Urban. Urban Hair is first rate. You can tell that their clients are loyal and happy and the stylists who work here seem to have been there a long time too. I have used the quick/walk in places, I have tried to color it myself, no more. I will be a loyal client as long as I am in this area.

    I have curly hair, and its always been difficult for me to find a hairdresser. I called when I noticed that Urban Hair Studio specializes in DevaCurl, and spoke with Rosie who set me up a free consultation so we can go over options and pricing. Rosie is PHENOMENAL... She truly cares about ME and MY HAIR, and was open and honest with me about what colors would complement my skin, and went through the realities of what colors required what upkeep, etc. She also walked me through step-by-step how to care for my curly hair. When we made the appointment for the color and cut; I was IN LOVE with the results. The staff and Rosie really love their careers and care about their clients. I refer Rosie to everyone I know. No matter what hair type you have, please see Rosie! You wont be disappointed.

    Samantha is an experienced and highly skilled hair stylist. She is totally committed to styling your hair to your desire (bright a Pinterest pic, if desired). She will assess your hair, your lifestyle and your desire. I have been going to UHS for five years every five weeks. I come home with great looking hair each visit.     My great experience with Urban Hair Studio started with reception. The ladies who helped me set up my appointment were so friendly and provided lots of great information. When I got to the salon, Gia treated me like a long-time client. I felt very welcomed.Now, what you really want to know, how was the haircut? Amazing. Rosi took her time, asked me lots of questions about how my hair normally behaves and what I was looking for in a haircut. She made sure I was totally comfortable with the process. She demonstrated really great skill and my finished result was evidence that she knows what shes doing and she also listened to what I wanted and needed. I drove almost 2 hours to get a specialty Devacut from her. It was absolutely worth it. I am already planning on bringing others to this location and I will be a long-term client for Rosi.

    Great service and friendly staff. I had no idea what kind of style I wanted, but Samanta knew the just the right cut for me. She gave me beautiful layers and bangs. They also have a great selection of hair care products. Samanta picked out amazing products for my hair type, and I can feel the difference it makes in my hair texture and volume.

    The overall experience is wonderful from calling and getting their awesome receptionist,Rosie, to the true care and expertise. You will not regret it at all. I love Julie to do my hair and if you have a brow problem, ask for Samantha. She can give you hope even when your brows have fallen out.

    The girls there are amazing! They knew exactly what I wanted, suggested styles sense I want exactly sure about a few things, and my hair came out exactly how I wanted! They not only did an exceptional job, but they made me feel welcome! The atmosphere is so relaxing and not hectic like most hair salons!     Rosie gave my curly hair a Diva cut and it has never looked better! Loved her and the studio.Be prepared to stay for a few hours but totally worth it, curly hair goddess!Also, take cash or check for tip.All of the staff were woderful. I bought product but no pressure at all!

    Went to Josephine for the 1st time on Sat. Overall welcoming, relaxing & unpretentious atmosphere. Had color & cut. Best rinse Ive ever had! No sales pitch for their products & reasonable prices for services. Loved the finished product & my hair feels & looks the healthiest it has in months!
