    I was looking for something to refresh my hair and maybe do something to brighten it up because it was just feeling dull. Jenna did a consult on my hair and we decided to go for a gloss treatment and a hair mask! I don’t get my hair done or treat myself to specialty appointments very often and she was sure to make it feel special. I left the salon with brighter hair and the softest hair I’ve ever had! I’ve already scheduled a second appointment with her and will be going back soon for some color!

    Feathered Stag is my new hair place. I love Jenna doing my hair! She listens to what I am wanting my hair to look like and she is honest and forthcoming about the process and condition of my hair.

    I’m new to Palatka and as everyone knows finding a new hair stylist is stressful. I found Laura because of her curly hair expertise and she did not disappoint. She truly listened during our consultation, identified an error my previous stylist was making, and then worked her magic. My hair feels happy and healthy and it looks great! I’m grateful. I’ll be back!

    I was newish to the area and had not identified a stylist yet. I had an important business trip coming up within days and was fortunate enough to grab a last minute cancellation with Laura. What a treat. She did an outstanding job on my cut, got my mane under control and was incredible to talk to. Felt like I was visiting with an old friend. If you are looking for a stylist, check out this place. Well pleased!

    I have had Laura as a stylist for years and was elated when she opened her own salon! The atmosphere is modern, artistic, and welcoming always. She gets the best stylists in the area in to do amazing hair transformation too. Laura, the owner is educated and on top of the newest trends in the field and also takes time to walk clients through what they want, how to take care of their hair, and gives styling coaching at the same time. She is knowledgeable about each product she uses, also a great selection for purchase in-store, but won’t try to push them on you (unless you ask ; )~Definitely GO HERE!

    Laura is an exceptional hair stylist. And as a guy with long curly hair, its really difficult to find someone that can cut my hair that doesnt make it look very feminine. Laura does exactly that. She cuts my hair unlike anyone before and it makes me feel very confident and happy. She also recommended products that Ive never used before, showed me HOW to use them and it made a remarkable difference in my hair.I mention Laura specifically here but I have also observed the rest of her staff to be very skilled, competent, and friendly. I cannot recommend Laura and the Feathered Stag enough. :)

    If I have an exact idea in mind, I go to Laura at Feathered Stag. If I only have a vague notion, I go to Laura. Sometimes I have no idea WHAT I want, and Ive walked out sporting something I would have never considered for myself in the past, and yet Laura makes me look amazing every. single. time. From a simple haircut to a makeover complete with every color of the rainbow, I have wanted to try it all and Laura has made every dream come true. She knows what works, what doesnt, and makes every trip feel special. I love Laura, and will continue to drive hours to see her, regardless of where she moves next. She really is a tribute to her craft and a master of her domain.

    Laura is amazing. I received a HORRIBLE cut at another salon. Uneven all the way around, horrible, choppy, uneven layers, just totally destroyed my hair. Laura made it look good and is helping me get my hair back to how it should be. It is a slow process as it grows but I am not ashamed to be seen in public. She is a miracle worker. She took that cut that looked like I gave a toddler a blind fold and scissors and made it into a style I am proud to be seen in. She takes her time and does it right!

    Got a perm from Kary! Was an awesome experience! My hair came out looking exactly what I dreamt it would! Was a beautiful shop!- fun- positive -atmosphere! I felt welcomed which was important to me 😊I will definitely return!

    I fly in from NYC every 6 months to see Laura at The Feathered Stag so that she can work her magic on my thick curly dry hair. The energy when you’re there is pure joy, the staff and clients are always having fun, giggling and vibing to the whatever tunes they have playing from the turntable. On top of the most fun and enjoyable hair sesh you’ll ever have, my hair has never looked or felt better/healthier since I started going to FS 2 years ago - I’ll never trust anyone else to touch my curls but Laura and her team.

    Very experienced and very friendly. Always great conversation and magnificent results. I have thick, curly, blonde hair, so it’s not easy to find someone who does well with it. Laura, however, is amazing!
