Emersyn is the most wonderful person and by far the best hairstylist ever. She is an amazing soul. I’ve been with her for a little over 4 years now and I can’t imagine seeing anyone else! She truly understands hair texture, length, coloring, and cuts. Not to mention, she takes the time to keep up on continuing education, new products and trends, and business management-always being the best for her clients! Emersyn takes such great care of my hair with healthy routines and products. She helped me adjust to the Florida humidity and now my post partum hair! She makes scheduling easy and is always going above and beyond to make appointments personalized and comfortable for you. I adore her so much and thanks to her, my hair has never looked better. If you’re wondering if you should make an appointment, stop thinking and just do it!

I absolutely love Emersyn. I’ve gone to her a few times now, and that’s more than I’ve gone to any other hair stylist/cosmetologist. She is beyond friendly, bright, warm, and always makes me feel comfortable whenever I visit. Her salon is also very relaxing and beautifully designed.To speak on her skills a bit: For a good solid year I had long hair down past my shoulders and then had half my head shaved on the side. I needed a new style that did not have the shaved side due to starting a new job. She was able to give me a cut and style that looked completely natural and no one could tell I had half my head shaved. It was also cut/styled in a way that as the shaved side grew out, I wouldn’t look silly or ridiculous. I was so astounded she was able to do such a thing. It looked fantastic!I highly recommend her.

She truly listens to what you want while giving her professional opinion. She is incredibly talented and nails my color every time. I’ve never loved my hair more than I have since I started going to August Hair Studio a year ago! Emersyn truly is a lived-in color specialist. After 9 months, my hair still looked just as good as it did on day one. The space is so cute and inviting and Emersyn goes above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable and welcome!

I have been very hesitant of doing my hair since it was ruined many years ago from my own mistakes. With Emersyn I felt nothing but trust! She guided me through the whole process and made it so stress free. She talked me through my goals and how to get there. I was so worried about damaging my hair but she even mentioned how to maintain well after treatment. She made such an inclusive environment and made me feel so comfortable! I would recommend her to anyone for their hair needs! I definitely found my new stylist!

I highly recommend Emersyn! Her onboarding system is fantastic- she sends a form pre-appointment asking specific details and even asks what music preference and beverage you’d like during appointment. Very thorough. My hair was in pretty bad shape and Emersyn thoughtfully listened to exactly what I was hoping for and executed it perfectly! I got highlights and lowlights and also a haircut. I’m so happy I found her! If you’re looking for a fantastic hair stylist and a very welcoming, relaxing atmosphere- look no further. 😊

This review is looooong overdue. I have been going to Emersyn since before she opened August Studio. Boy am I glad she did because her skills have blossomed even more, which I didn’t think was possible because she was already so talented. What sets Emersyn apart is how much she cares for her clients. She curates the experience to make you comfortable and dedicates her own time to continuous learning so that she can continue to excel in her work. She then shares her knowledge to make sure you are able to take care of your hair at home as well as she takes care of it in the studio. Although I no longer live in Florida, I still travel back home to get my hair done in August Studio because no one I’ve found matches Emersyn’s talent!

Usually, going to a hairdresser can cause anxiety, but Emersyn is so personable and wants to make your appointment as fun and chill as possible!Also...SHES FABULOUS AT DOING HAIR! I was feeling really insecure about my hair before coming to her appointment but after my appointment, I felt so much more confident about my hair. Lash lift and tint -Emersyn makes the entire treatment enjoyable and quick and does amazing work! 45 minutes in the chair and she has my lashes looking perfectly curled and tinted like I just got my make up done. Stays that way for about 6 weeks… saves so much time! If you’re thinking about having Emersyn do your lashes, DO IT.
