First time, and everything was absolutely beautiful at the studio! Erin was a treat and very honest and fun. She got the green out of my hair and helped me get a nice icey lavender 💜 I recommend and plan to return for all my future hair needs!

I am not from around here and feel very fortunate to have found Erin. She made me feel warm and welcomed from the moment we first spoke on the phone. Upon meeting her at my first appointment, I knew I had made a good decision. Erin took her time with me and explained her vision for getting my damaged hair back into good condition with a little time and attention. I highly recommend Erin at A Splash of Color to everyone!

Erin is amazing. I felt impulsive one day and wanted to chop all my hair off, color it dark, add some mermaid colors to it, and add bangs. Never done any of this before, so I was nervous. I just found her through these Google reviews, and they were 💯 accurate. She did an amazing job and was a pleasure to just sit and hang out with all day! 10/10 would recommend

Ill never go to another hair stylist. Erin was amazing. Her input and her understanding of how different types of hair and hairstyles go together is unmatched. Her establishment is furnished beautifully and made me feel comfortable right when I walked in. I highly recommend Splash of Color to anyone.

Erin is fantastic! I have curly hair and used to not even bother getting my hair cut except MAYBE once a year because its always cut wrong (usually wet). Erin teaches yoga with me and reassured me that she has experience with curly hair and only cuts curls when dried and styled. So I took a chance. She did fantastic! Ive had 3 hair cuts now working to rehab the damage from some old highlights and bad cuts. My hair gets better each time! This past visit I also wanted to color my hair and Erin did an expert job of selecting the right formula to go with my skin tone so it looks natural. My boyfriend even said it actually looks like its your natural color. While I was there, I heard her working with another client and she gave the same attention to detail for her highlights. Erin is a true artist! THANKS ERIN!

As Erins mom, you may think this review is biased, but heres the truth. She has been fascinated by hair since she was five. She entertained us by modeling each of her creations.She offered and was asked to do friends hair for special school dances while still in high school and later for weddings while in college.She attended one of the best cosmetology schools in Michigan after graduating from MSU. She paid close attention to the instructors details and was like a sponge, soaking up all that she could.She has a natural ability to see what needs to be done with individual hair types and color. Her clients satisfaction is a top priority. Shes upfront regarding the steps it may take to help damaged hair become healthy again.And yes, she has been styling and coloring my hair for over 15 years. Strangers compliment my hair and want to know who my stylist is. 🙂Your hair is in good hands while in her chair.

I found Erin by chance a few years agowhen my daughter bleached her own hair and needed a color correction! As soon as I walked in the door I thought ooh this chick is cool, lol, her hair, the way she dressed, the decor of the salon. I was becoming more and more unhappy with my stylist at the time and thought I may try her out for myself! But what really sealed the deal for me was how honest she was, she let me know right off the bat what she could and couldnt do for my daughters hair, she didnt try to sell me a dream and overcharge me for it. So the next time I needed a cut and color I made an appointment and the rest is history! I love the way my cut and color look every time and we have the best time chatting and laughing during my appointments! If youre looking for a new look or the same look with a new stylist I highly recommend Erin!

Erin has been doing my hair since 2006! She is an expert in her profession. She researches the products that she uses to be sure they are the best, and not harmful or damaging. When it comes to color, she puts thought into what she is mixing to be sure its going to give her client the best results. As to her shop, it is just her.... it is not a hustle bustle place so it is quiet and relaxing. If you want someone who is going to give you personal attention and takes the time to do it right, then she is the person. If you dont care about quality and want a quick in and out cheap hair color or cut, then Fantastic Sams or Great Clips is for you.
