My better half and I were visiting Panama City Beach, and I was desperately in need of a haircut/coloring. I am 75 years old, but did not want an old lady haircut. I GOOGLED stylists near me and from all the many options, I found Scissorella. There were so many good reviews, that I decided upon Scissorella. I was scared to death as I have never had a professional haircut/hair color. My other half also wanted some input in helping me decide. Boy, were we in for a treat! Immediately, my fears were set aside. Joanna is such a charismatic person. We both loved her upon meeting her and she loved that my other half was going to be part of the process too. Joanna not only listened to my concerns/fears and input for how I normally wear my hair, but with her wisdom and creative ability, she talked to us about what she saw in a style for me as well. We ended up trusting in her creative vision, and I cannot tell you how pleased I am (we are) with my new look! If there must be a negative to this review, it is that I am so sorry we are only visiting because I would never go anywhere else!

I absolutely LOVE this establishment. It is very inviting and friendly. Joanna is great with my kids, me and my daughter needed a hair cut, and Joanna listened to what we wanted, and delivered fantastically. We will be back. This is the only salon we will be going to from now on!!! :)She even was great with my 8yr old son who was just tagging along ;) she even let him have a snack and he behaved great! Where to begin, first off, the space is so welcoming, unique and gorgeous. Its semi tucked away for privacy and quiet, which is great for a relaxing hair experience. Every single color I have ever seen done, literally hundreds, has been perfectly placed and tailored for each client. Hands down one of the greatest colorists I have had the honor of sharing space with. Ive worked with dozens of platform stylists and educators. She has outshown every one of them. I know for a fact, Joanna puts positive and healing energy into every one of her clients. With 100 reviews and 99 of them being 5 stars, the numbers dont lie...

Love the expierence that I had at Scissorella! She really took the time to talk and educate me on how to color hair but keep it healthy. After I felt reassured that I wouldnt be left with straw for hair, she gave me a brown sombre and I could not be happier with the results! Joanna is personable, professional, and a great stylist. I went in as a referral from a barber from Black Sheep, which I absolutely recommend as well for barbers! I have thick hair and a lot of it. Haven’t had the best luck in the past finding someone to tame it. But I found Joanna years ago and have been going to her ever since. She is great with my thick hair. She thins it out and makes it lay flat while still keeping the body without all the bulk. My head feels so light after leaving her. I highly recommend Joanna for All your Hair needs. Her new salon is very clean and bright. It’s a nice relaxing place to get away for a haircut.

Absolutely love, love this place! Took my daughter to get her hair done and Joanna made her feel so special and beautiful. She has a wonderful personality and it really showed in the way she worked her magic on my 15 year old daughter. My daughter is so happy with her hair! Joanna is amazing! She took me very last minute to fix my hair emergency. She was able to rearrange her day in order to help me and she was just as excited as I was to see the way the end result came out. Within about an hour and a half, she performed a hair miracle on my hair! I had personally overdyed it and when I arrived my hair was very unintentionally orange and grey, and had burnt off from chemicals, halfway up the body of my hair. She was able to make me look brand new and correct my color and my cut for a very affordable price. Thank you Joanna at Scissorella! ❤️😍

Honestly the best place I have ever went to. She set up an appointment for my friends and I back to back so that we could all go through a hair change together. She was really sweet to each of us and walked us through the process of what we were getting done. Usually I just show the hairstylist a picture and they just do it without asking me any other questions but, she made sure I got what I wanted. I would now trust her to do anything she wants with my hair and not worry about how it would look. I could not recommend a better place then here. The environment is comfortable, calming, and she is definitely so inspiring. I cant even put in words how fun our day was because of her. I will definitely come back and let her do whatever she wants next time so I could have another change and just to hang out with her.
