    My experience today at Smartstyle was excellent. I called and made an appointment with Diana Sellman and she was delightful. She did a wonderful job cutting and lowlighting my hair. She accommodated me on short notice prior to a trip and I really appreciate her! Even though shes almost an hour drive from my house, I plan to go back to her in the future. She Id an employee you can be very proud of!

    Called ahead about an hour and half and got a same day appointment for a wash and cut. So excited to say I finally found a good fit for me in a stylist. Can’t wait to come back and visit Ms. Carmen again!!!

    Mrs. Carmen was wonderful. Not only did she do a great job with my hair, but she also maintained a positive, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere in the salon.     I wish I could give Ms. Carmen 10 stars because she is absolutely amazing!! We have been going to her for almost a year & she has worked so hard on growing my little girls hair. I wish I had a before picture of her 4C hair, but her hair was VERY short & look at it now. Unbelievable. We love Ms. Carmen because she listens & she really cares. She also educates us on how to take care of our hair. I recommend her to anyone. Come visit Ms. Carmen at SmartStyle on Creighton. Trust me, you are in WONDERFUL hands!!❤️❤️❤️❤️

    Who would have imagined to find a Black natural hair stylist working at the Walmart hair salon! I am so so very glad I finally found a natural hair stylist who knows how to do Black womens natural hair. I am overjoyed to go to the salon and walk out with the exact hairstyle I asked for. Yall just need to call the shop in Walmart and ask for Katrina Edwards(only) to do your hair. She is the best!

    PROS: The lady who did my hair Lucretia did a great job with my hair. I wanted my hair purple and she explained the coloring process with me. She bleached my hair perfectly and I had also got the ends of my hair trimmed I really like how she wasnt scissor happy she just cut off what needed to be off! I feel like I got my moneys worth definitely recommend Lucretia to anyone.The overall environment was nice... everyone was kind!CON: ( THIS IS NOT DIRECTED TOWARDS THE WORKERS ITS NOT THEIR FAULT)My appointment was at 11:00AM and I came exactly at 11:00AM we didnt get started till around 12:15PM I was a little annoyed about that because thats the whole point of scheduling an appointment, but Lucretia did try her best to hurry up with the other client while still trying to make sure the other client hair was looking cute. I dont blame the workers because they were short staff. So be mindfully that you might be waiting for a little bit.

    Zach was cautious at first to cut my hair from a little more than shoulder length to a pixi but then got more comfortable (after seeing me get excited about it) and started telling me story’s about his friends and joking around with me and my mom and overall it was an amazing experience with him he is so nice and inviting I love how it turned out and how it looks I am literally obsessed with how it looks
