Hair50 years old this year! Would you believe if I said I have never been to the same hair stylist TWICE?Mainly because of the FIRST question I ask: Do you know how to work with naturally curly hair?(In other words, are you going to cut off all my damn hair?!) 😡They always give the same response: Ohhh YES Im so good with naturally curly hair, my best friend has naturally curly hair!When I contacted Aliza, she gave the same response Ive heard for almost 50 years! My hair is half way down my back and its of huge importance to me it stays long because of my round face.She trimmed and layered it, LONG LAYERS, exactly as I had asked.I was so impressed that as soon as I get back from my vacation, Ill be going right back to Aliza!As long as she styles hair, her hands will be the only hands touching my hair.For the first time, I left a salon smiling 😁 instead of singing, Its too late to apologize.😭Thank you Aliza. Aliza is awesome! I don’t really want to tell anyone because I want her to myself, but she’s amazing! Personally, she is a wonderful person with a warm smile lots of life experience, and I enjoy talking with her. Professionally, she kicks butt!I cut off my own ponytail back in January, creating a way too short, multi-layered, lopsided, disaster. Immediately seeing the error in my ways, I went to Great Disappointments to have them clean it up. Needless to say, it just got shorter with more layers and no pretty hair in sight.I booked the quickest online appointment I could make at a highly rated salon within a 20 radius of my house, willing to see any of their professionals. I got so lucky with Aliza!I gave her creative freedom to do whatever was needed to fix my errors, and I’m so grateful I did! She took me from needing a bag on my head to having a cute hairdo with color to help blend everything. She even used my natural sun-dyed highlight color that wasn’t really even showing yet, but somehow she knew the exact shade and brought it to life early.This week was Phase 2 of Operation Hair Repair. Now it’s a trendy little number with the perfect highlights! I’ve been getting highlights for years, but no one has made them look this good! My husband and I are almost glad I had that bad day when I took those scissors to my own hair, because it brought me to Aliza. We can’t wait to see what she does for Phase 3 in another 9 weeks.

Jocelyn, was my stylist and was a delight. I walked her through the color and cut. She listened and was attentive to my concerns and needs to what I wanted accomplished for my hair. I told her it would take me a few days after service if the color would be what I had invisioned and she was fine with that and if I wasnt happy, that she would do whatever it took to correct my concerns, to which made me at ease. As I look at it a day after, May 1st it looks a bit too dark, but once I wash and style, Ill know if change is needed. Thank you Jocelyn, for being patient with me.
