    Nya is very talented and passionate about what she does. From what Ive seen, she will get you right every time.Other than great skill and talent, customer service is a very important concept to grasp in the service industry (whether it be food, hospitality, beauty, entertainment, etc.).Im sure this doesnt happen often, but here are a few things that went wrong during this visit:- Over 30 minutes late for the first appointment of the day at 11 AM- Double booked the 11 AM time slot- Serviced another gentleman despite us being there first- Did not take the appropriate steps to rectify the situation- Didnt get in the chair until almost 2 hours after the original appointment time- Did not apologize or take responsibility for disregard of timeAcknowledging mistakes is so important, as it shows you value your customers time and accountability.A productive response to the situation wouldve looked something like this, Im sorry for being late, I had an emergency (or just make something up). I can get you in at _____. If that doesnt work, we can reschedule for ______.(Im also humbly giving this advice as someone who worked in food/hospitality for almost 10 years while being responsible for training and training materials).Yes, she did offer to look after him while waiting, which was sweet. However, we drove 40 minutes to this appointment, and I had things to do back on my side of the city. Watching him wouldnt have restored the lost time.Despite the small inconveniences that day, Nya is extremely talented, passionate, patient, and pleasant. She still offers quality service.Thank you.

    I came to this hair salon last minute looking for a shop that would cut and braid my grandson’s hair for his graduation pictures they took us in as a walk-in the girl who braiding my grandson’s hair was super nice and patient with my grandson and Shawn was absolutely amazing he was great with my grandson as well very patient and kind because my grandson can be very inpatient and fidgety but he took his time and was gentle with him. He did a wonderful job cutting his hair! I would definitely come back again and also recommend to anyone who’s looking for a great place to cut and style your hair especially your child’s.

    Its truly a shop worth going. Reasonable and fair prices along with a peaceful environment. Ive met this one barber who turned out to be an awesome friend. Her name is Nia. Heavily recommend her if you want a nice and detailed haircut. She also provides a nice facial and cleansing treatment just so youll look fresh for the entire week. You will not be disappointed 😌 10/10

    Clean friendly environment quick service. My boys love going to Nya in their words “She’s the best” they refuse to go to anyone else. Nya is always kind and takes pride in what she does.Don’t hesitate to book!!!!

    One of the cleanest barbershops I’ve ever been to.Everyone in the shop was friendly and nice. Helped me out even though I was a walk-in. Overall the environment is nice and the experience was amazing. Personally I recommend going to Nya. Best barber out there!! Takes her time, listens to what customer wants and overall gives the best hair cuts in Florida!!

    I have been getting my haircut beard trim. By Nya she is an amazing barber 💈 she has great customer service skills you tell her what want done and she makes it happen. Everytime I’ve gone to get my haircut I come out feeling and looking like a new man. So if you are looking for a fresh cut and great service stop by and see Nya I guarantee you will not be disappointed

    A trip to the barbershop for me can either go great or awkward. How do I know this is a good spot? When the first chair barber is friendly and inviting. I walked up for an appointment and was greeted nicely by the barber in the first chair with a big smile and everything. Staff is friendly and shop is very clean. I live up in Jacksonville and make it a point to make sure I get an appointment with Nya. The first time she gave me a tape was perfect. Then I tried to find a barber up here… naw that man messed up my hairline! Luckily Nya got it back in control, thank you. Worth the drive. The shop is clean, inviting and in a good spot.

    Ive had the pleasure of getting several beard cuts, line-ups, and a dread re-twist from Nya, and each time, she has exceeded my expectations.What sets Nya apart is her passion for all things hair—its obvious not just in her results, but in her entire process. She takes the time to understand what you want, is incredibly attentive to details, and ensures youre happy with the outcome.Shes also great with communication and works with you on scheduling within reason, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free.     I usually shave my head and manage my beard on my own. But I’m getting married this Sunday and wanted to rely on a true professional to get me right and that’s exactly what Shawn did. Literally with minutes of making contact he identified the light spots within my beard and came up with a game plan to work around/ with them. This might seem trivial but this ability is the difference between the great line up I received today and shit one’s that I’ve gotten in the past. I let him know I had sensitive skin and he accommodated with the gentle touch of the razor and a few hot towels. I was shocked when he charged me because I’ve paid more for less. Aside from all that the shop decor is pretty fly you can tell someone put a lot of thought into it. I’ll fit sure be coming back.Update: I needed to double back and share some pics from the wedding
