My daughter loves Cookie Cutters!! Lori did a fabulous job trimming her hair and making her feel comfy. Her calming demeanor eased my daughter’s anxiety of getting her hair washed and the sound of the blow dryer. She got a balloon and lollipop after. :) The little slide in the waiting lobby is so cute and fun too. My girl is already asking when we could go back to the haircut playground to sit in the race car to watch more Bluey😂 thankful for the staff and all they do to make it a special experience for the kiddos. We will definitely be back!!!

This is definitely the right place for the toddlers to have their haircut done. My son was in a bad mood, crying and stressing out but Olga was super calm and did a great haircut while I was holding him on my knees. Plus, they have everything for the kids to play while waiting, or in our case, after the service. Thanks! Will be back again 👍🏻

We had such a wonderful experience at Cookie Cutters! The staff was incredibly patient and welcoming, making my 5-year-old feel comfortable right away. Took my daughter here for her first haircut. Diana did a great job with her curly hair and i am super grateful for the time that she took to make my baby feel comfortable. Highly recommend! The people are really nice. They always keep you company and talk to you. They did a really good job with my hair. I think this is a definite recommendation and for little kids there’s a little cute chairs so we recommend this for little kids as well(10 year old)

Ana did a great job on my 1 year olds hair, it was his second time and I was surprised how calm he was, in comparison to when I took him to my husband’s barbershop. She definitely has experience handling children and this is a huge plus. She was so sweet to my baby! The only negative I could see was maybe the place could have been cleaner? But still overall great experience.

Ive been taking my son Connor to Cookie Cutters in Coconut Creek since he was 8 months old. Olga, who was referred to us, has been cutting his hair for 3 years now. Her level of patience with the children is remarkable. Her professionalism to meet parents expectations is only described as incredible. The entire staff is extremely friendly and makes you feel very welcome. (Even if your child is not having a good day. Lol.) Thank you to Olga and to the staff at Cookie Cutters for making our little boy as handsome 💙 😊 as he can be!!!!

Didnt know what to expect. Didnt know they existed. Took my 12 year old month baby for is haircut before we celebrate his birthday and it was an amazing experience. The hair dresser is super clean the stylist was very professional and she interact with my son. He had a blast and he didnt cry. Love the decor and love that they have a TV on each hair cutting station to keep the kids quiet and focus while getting a haircut. I will definitively comeback and I recommend them. Price was good too. My son came out looking like a king.

I usually go with Ana . She wasn’t available . Currently she’s out of town . But my second best option is Olga . So far from my experience Ana and Olga are my favorite . Bringing toddlers here is life saving especially when they’re still scared of the barbershop/ machine . The machines they use make no noise so it’s perfect .

Took my son the other day and saw Ruchana. She was incredibly patient as he was not in the mood that day, she let him sit on my lap and offered toys to play with and was so sweet with him. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was amazing and I will definitely be back to see her!

Ruchana did an amazing job on my 2 year olds hair. I am always nervous before cuts because he usually screams and cries the entire time, I warned her before we started, and she took the time to ask additional questions to find what he might of not liked during past cuts. She warmed him up to the buzzer allowing him to turn it on, and rubbed it around his neck and back for him to feel comfortable with the sound and vibration. For the first time after MANY tear filled haircuts my son didn’t shed a tear. He played with the cars that Ruchana so nicely lent him, she encouraged me to let him move around and not to hold him down, like I’ve done in previous visits. I think this really helped him to not feel restricted, and to continue playing. This mama was full of happiness that a once challenging task has become such a joy. I sent videos to family who knows my haircut struggles with my son. We have turned a corner, thank you Ruchana for making it an enjoyable experience.

My son is very particular when it comes to haircuts or with anything/anyone touching his hair for that matter.. a haircut usually involves lots of crying but Rachuna was very gentle and patient with him and my son sat through the entire haircut by himself with no tantrums that’s a big milestone for us.. Asia was awesome! So good & very fast! My son was standing at one point then moved around a couple a times to get comfortable and she was still cutting his hair as if he wasn’t! My son is autistic and she was very good with him! She didn’t even need my help that’s how fast she was and with just scissors!! not even the buzzers because of sensory issues and he didn’t like the sound of them.. I have to admit my son was being very well behaved as usual but I was nervous for a hair cut but she had everything he needed to keep him occupied, comfortable & happy! It’s like he didn’t even notice he was getting one! Lol she did great and I highly recommend her! Thank you Asia :)))) we’ll be seeing you again!

Asia did a fantastic job keeping our little guy calm and easing him into the haircut by introducing him to the tools she would be using. The boys did a father/son cut and the first time hair cut package comes with a certificate and locket of hair, so adorable! Kid friendly atmosphere and great customer service.

Asia was great with my son for his first big haircut. She took the time to show him the trimmers and let him touch them. She let him hold a spare comb so he was distracted while she worked. He was able to watch his favorite movie and “steer” his airplane. Everything was clean and spaced appropriately for social distancing which we appreciated. Staff and guests were all in masks and used hand sanitizer regularly. We will definitely be back.

Took my 3yr old for a haircut here, was able to schedule an appt same day. The stylists are all very nice, place is clean and fun environment for little kids. They have little airplanes and cars as chairs for kids to sit in and every seat has it’s own tv with Disney, Nick Jr and Netflix to choose from. Fair price and easy in and out.

This place is clean, cute, completely tailored for kids, I love bringing my kids here, they had a blast and wonderful experience during their hair cut, we don’t only recommend but we will definitely be back. I also love their Pre paid hair cut cards. Price is reasonable and kids love it. The stylists were caring, loving and understanding. The kids choose the video they wanted to watch while the stylists were cutting their hair.

My experience was great! The receptionist was nice, and maybe new. I havent seen her there before. They cut my oldest sons hair quickly and well. My younger son is very apprehensive about getting his hair cut. The stylist was great with him and she helped him to feel less nervous. We’ve been going to Cookie Cutters since 2022. As my son’s gotten older, haircuts have become more of a challenge. He had a haircut a few months ago which was a horrible experience with the hairdresser and we learned she is no longer there. My son must have remembered the experience because walking in today he was fearful. We had the most amazing experience today with Diana. We had extra time so he could warm up. He basically played while she cut his hair. Not one tear was shed and by the end he felt so comfortable he was running around the salon. I’m so incredibly happy and grateful for Diana and the receptionist who helped to make this such an amazing experience for us.

Diana was an all star! I made the appointment on the wrong day for my son’s first haircut. She went ahead and told us to sit and she would squeeze us in, which was huge considering how packed the place was. My son was not cooperative, big shock, and she was so accommodating. She was able to cut his hair as my husband held him while standing. My son had minimal tears shed and looks fabulous. I’m so glad we came because of the fabulous reviews online. Happy I can add to their collection. So grateful and thankful for Diana’s time and patience.

For him, it was horrible as it was sensory overload but Haley was amazing and very patient with him. I cant express enough how much I appreciate that. If she was frustrated with his consistent screaming, crying, and moving around she didnt show it at all and thats what made this experience a good one. Asia is great. Always good with our son. Our boy is shy but she always makes him feel comfortable. She also provided some good recommendations on us trying to retrain his hair. Once she had to correct the haircut of a novice hairstylist. She stepped in and helped our situation out without us feeling bad or the other stylist too. My daughter just turned three and I brought her to Cookie Cutters for her first haircut. It was a great experience! My daughter choose to sit in the airplane and she got to choose which show to watch. She actually sat still the whole time because she was so happy there. Asia gave her a great haircut and then a beautiful braid. We got the first haircut certificate which is adorable. I took my 2-year old daughter to get her first haircut here. It was a great experience! The woman who cut her hair was very patient as my daughter looked around, and asked what show she enjoyed so she would be more calm during the experience. My daughter didnt cry at all, which was so surprising because she is usually shy around strangers. She did cry when we left because she wanted to stay there longer, which is always a good sign.Our appointment was actually for 10 AM (but unplanned leaving the house delays had us running late), and they were so understanding about switching the appointment to 10:15 AM instead when I called to let them know we wouldnt be on time for the 10 oclock.We will definitely be back again!

I called cookie cutters to explain that my three and four year old grand children have never had Haircuts and they have autism and they are nonverbal. I asked if this was the place for them and they said yes. It went amazingly well the staff was amazing. I truly believe if it wasn’t for Alana, my oldest grandson who has extreme sensory issues would not have allowed his hair to be cut. It would’ve been traumatizing. After Alana finished cutting his hair and she sat on the ground with him to play with him he gave her his cheek so she could kiss him. I would definitely recommend them to anybody with children, especially children that may have some special needs.

Ive been taking my now 3.5 year old to Cowlicks since he was born and they closed down. Feeling super disappointed, I took to Facebook in a Mom group and many recommended Cookie Cutters. Our appointment was with Anna. It was great that they have a small play area for the kids while we wait for our appointment, although I wish I saw staff sanitizing it every so often, which they may, but not during the time I was there. Appointments were a little backed up and it was crowded. We had to wait 20 minutes passed our scheduled appointment even though we showed up 10 minutes early. My son was having a blast so it wasnt a huge inconvenience. In addition, so many places are short staffed due to the pandemic so patience is necessary anywhere you go. My son does not like getting his haircut and will often yell or cry. Although he did do this, it was so minimal, unlike when he was at Cowlicks. Anna was amazingly patient and sweet to my son and me and never once seemed annoyed! Asia didnt cut my sons hair but she was even talking to my son. She was sweet and I definitely wouldnt mind using her in the future. My sons hair came out great! The only other thing...I wish the girl at the front desk was a little more personable. All in all, 5 stars. So happy we found a great new replacement on our first try! 🙌
