We came to Carl based on his reviews & our experience met our expectations beyond measure! Every haircut has always triggered meltdowns which leads to crooked cuts. We’ve never had a hairstylist attempt to distract and calm down our son until Carl. He was very fast, very kind & somehow got our son to remain distracted (almost) the whole haircut. This is also the best haircut our son has ever had!Very grateful we found our guy! Highly recommend. -

Carl is a great barber, but more importantly hes a kind man who knows how to work with kids of all types. Hes patient and understanding with kids, even with special needs. My two sons have been going to him for years now and I would never go anywhere else! -

Carl is incredible. He does great work. Our sons hair has curls, and Carl does the full cut with scissors only and hes able to achieve beautiful layers throughout his hair. Not an easy task as our son can be very hyperactive and has a very hard time staying still. Carl keeps him entertained and its always a breeze to get the job done. -

After many meltdowns during hair cuts we decided to try this place and I couldnt be happier! Carl is THE BEST! My son was completely relaxed, comfortable, and happy with Carl cutting his hair. Carl was AMAZING. So professional. Quick and friendly and knew what he was doing. My husband and I were expecting our 2 yr old son to be freaked out and crying his head off since that was his first experience at another place a few months previous, but this was NIGHT AND DAY. Our son was so good this time around & Carl helped that out with his calm and in control demeanor. And he even let our son take a little car at the end of his hair cut that he had his eye on. I cant say enough about how impressed I am. This guy knows what he is doing. He told us his story about how he got started and has been in business in 30+ years. We can tell he is passionate and this business is his life. Were so glad to support him and we hope he can be our forever barber for our son! -

Carl is so kind and welcoming every time we visit. He has done an outstanding job making sure the salon is extra clean and uses disposable combs and capes. He is a seasoned professional when dealing with wiggly little ones and always manages to keep my son entertained during his haircut. We always leave with a great haircut and a happy child- not my experience at other kids salons in the area. -

Excellent service with a smile! We found Just For Kids Hairstyling and Carl last year in 2019 when my barber decided to move up north. He cuts both my sons and my hair, my sons 39 year old dad. As long as we live within driving diatance Carl will have us as his customers. Very clean barber shop, always has a good kids movie on to keep them occupied or distracted and always gives us great hair cuts. I would recommend Just For Kids to everyone looking for a great cut at a reasonable price.Help support local small businesses!!! -

Absolutely best place in Broward to bring your kids. Carl has been there for 30 years and has been cutting and styling hair for 40 years. He was amazing with our son who cannot sit still. He has a nice little waiting area so if you have mutiple kids they have toys to occupy them. He is by appointment only which makes it a very comfortable experience for you and your child. -

If your kid hates getting haircuts and cries and throws tantrums… then you have to come and see Carl! I swear he is a baby whisperer. Our 2 year old started coming here around 6 months ago after being a terror everywhere else. He hasn’t cried once since coming to Carl at Just kids! I promise you won’t regret it. -

I usually take my oldest to a different place here in Coral Springs so it was the first time I visited Carl.My son was a wiggly worm during the haircut and started crying by the end cause he didnt like the blow dryer 😝 but during the whole experience Carl was focused and his hand was steady, I couldnt believe my eyes when I saw his ability with the scissors! He did exactly what I wanted!He has lots of patience and treats you like family. I also know he has a lot of costumers with special needs so he has developed ways to make their experiences great.He has been at these location for 30 years and has been cutting hair since he was 17!!! So now u know why he is the real deal!So if you are looking for a traditional place, somewhere u will find that old school experience for your child or for daddy as well... you should call him because he does Appointment Only and has a flat rate for all haircuts -

He has something that I can’t put into words and now things are like Night and day. I have no words To thank him enough for his patience not just with my child but, all the others that go.
