    Gabby is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!!! She listens to what i think I want and somehow she always figures it out( I have NO hair knowledge at all...lol). I am always amazed at how she turns my gibberish into the BEST HAIR EVER❤️.     LAKIESHA Is a God send for sure!! I went in kinda knowing what I wanted like I have the ideas but wasn’t sure, I explained and showed her a picture or 2 and she worked her magic! I finally found someone that cut my hair exactly how I wanted it done, we had great conversation and she’s just all around wonderful and will most definitely be going ti her form now on!     My hairdressers name is Amanda and she always does the fabulous haircut. I go about every 4 weeks and we have a chat on my ideas of how I would like my hair done. Shes truthful about my hair it does get rather flat as it grows out so I do keep it short but sassy! She keeps it looking great and I carry around her cards to pass out when people give me compliments on my hair style. So check it out and check out Amanda! 😀

    Let me start with a Shout Out to Lakeisha… my “hairdresser extraordinaire”!It’s hard to find a hairdresser that can nail a haircut perfectly on the first visit. It has maybe happened to me once before I ended up in Lakeisha’s chair at The Hair Cuttery, located in the Westport Plaza, 1644 Taylor Road, Port Orange, FL.After a long workday, while on my 25-minute commute home, I decided it was time for a haircut. I have short hair, and like it razor cut/spiked/messy, tapered on the sides, and in the back. I color my hair very often in different shades ranging from deep auburn, copper, champagne pink, to reds and violets. Before those pesky grays came along, I was a medium shade of auburn.My hair was getting a bit coarse and dry from all the coloring, and Lakeisha, of course noticed, and schooled me in the proper way to care for my straw-like “couiffe”. She wears her heart on her sleeve and speaks ‘straight-up’ … my kinda lady … and we had a great conversation about some of life’s ironies and not-so-much ironies, all the while, she was busy cutting away. When she was done, and I viewed the finished cut, I knew I had found my “hairdresser extraordinairè”! Thank you, Lakeisha 🎀

    Lakisha is a god send! She got rid of my grays and made my hair look and feel amazing. I highly recommend the color packages. They are fairly priced and the color is fantastic. I also highly recommend the tea tree scalp treatment. That treatment brought my hair back to life and is so soft and shiny. The rest of the staff was top notch. Very kind, funny, and you can really tell they all care and are a team. I will be back for more of your amazing services and will tell everyone about this establishment.

    Brandy did such an amazing job on my hair.I went in for a trim and was asked if I wanted layers. I felt like I needed a change. I looked up some photos and showed the one I liked. It turned out amazing!

    I’ve been coming here for the past 3 years. Ive never had a bad experience, even tho i have only seen two different stylist i can see the work others are doing on other clients and i feel confident saying everyone working at Hair Cuttery is very talented. I always thought i had to pay a lot of money and go to a fancy place to get a decent hair cut but thats not the case with this hair cuttery. If you are considering coming here, i think calling and asking for an appointment is the best choice. From what ive seen, a lot of the stylists are booked because they have loyal clients but there is someone open to take walk ins. Its never been an issue from what ive seen but you never know how long the wait time might be so calling ahead of time might be a good idea depending on the day. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Ive gone from a pixie cut to really long hair with highlights with this hair cuttery. Keep up the great work everyone!! :)

    Ive been getting my hair cut there since 2017. All other cutters recognized my age as a senior and I got a senior discount.This is the first time I got neither the discount nor a shampoo.While it was an excellent cut, the up-charge left me scratching my newly cut head.Ive been told that even after telling her I am 77 years old I was supposed to ask for the discount.Im just a bit disappointed.Alex.

    Julie is by far my favorite hair designer I’ve ever had, she really listens to her clients when telling her what they want or think, while also giving good feedback and alternatives if needed. She always lets me know what she’s doing with my hair before she does it so that way I know what’s going on and she always make sure that I’m okay with what’s happening. I’ve gotten my favorite hair cut from her and I’ll keep going to her from now on because it’s always a great visit and I always get a great haircut and a great hair coloring from her.

    I’m not from the area, so this was my first haircut at the Hair Cuttery. I was a walk in, they greeted me at the door and the check-in process was super simple and everyone was very friendly. My stylist Jeanette did a phenomenal job. I would highly recommend them for anyone in the Port Orange area, needing a haircut or stylist.

    I scheduled an appointment for highlights with Amanda after my mom told me how amazing she was! And boy is she amazing!! My highlights are EXACTLY how I wanted them! And the color is beautiful! Not to mention, my appointment was at 9am, and she started my hair at exactly 9am. Very clean, professional and organized! I will definitely be returning to this salon!

    My experience with Rozann today the 2nd time I am with her for eyebrows and again she does not disappoint. I will never go to anyone else for as long as she is at haircuttery. She amazes me every time I come in😍 Please recognize Rozann for her 10 star service!!!**UPDATE** I am not happy at all with Rozann. I am now going to Ulta from now on where they give a damn what my eyebrows look like. Rozann made my eyebrows look completely different shapes and even said they were “beautiful” as I walked out of your store looking like a freak. She knew it was for an interview and I take back every positive word I said about her. You have lost me as a customer for good.

    Wow. I can not say enough good things about this place. What a team , this staff is unbelievable. Rose so personable. She made you feel so comfortable like an invited guest at her house. What hospitality. Serious this women cleaned and sanitized everything between clients , non stop. I was there for 4 hr service so I seen her go. No doubt I’ll be back. Like going home.

    Been coming for years, great stylists and prices, its just sad that corporate doesnt supply them with products for sale, they are always out of stock, apparently automated inventory system repeatedly fails them at this location. While I had my haircut today (Valentines Day), a gentleman came in to buy a gift card. The stylist had to tell him that they were out, and had been since Christmas! He had to go to another location.

    Gabrielle always does an awesome job on my color touch up. I just get my roots done every 6 to 8 weeks and she matches my blonde perfectly! I love all the ladies that work there!     Brought my daughter in with disaster hair. Very curly and thick. Ms.Rose was fantastic my daughter looks like a whole new child. She gave us suggestions on hair products to keep it looking great.     I had a storied experience of the negative variety some years ago at another Hair Cuttery, after years of positive experiences. I took the plunge and went to this location to have all my hair essentially cut off. There was a degree of irony in my decision, but it worked out nicely......very nicely. I met Brandy, and while I am not sure where she went (she is amazing, and I miss her!), I pivoted to her associate Amanda, who has continued to be my trim tailor.I initially went from longer than waist length to a Nordic undercut side part. That was VERY stylish and way less maintenance. I have since endeavored to grow it all back out, and that has gone quite well. I took a chance with a coloring after always doing it myself. It came out amazing! Lasted a good while, and a gradual fade out left everything looking almost natural, and all throughout, everything stayed looking even and consistent.So it seems Im back on with Hair Cuttery, and its going decidedly well. If I have learned something from the highs and lows, it is this simple truth: when someone understands your needs and can make them happen, doggedly hang onto their services. Where they go, you follow. Many people can do great work, but once you have a stylist familiar with your hair, they are your stylist long as you can possibly keep them!

    Made an appt with Jeanette after she was highly recommended by a friend. She did not disappoint! Not only had it been 2 years since I cut my hair, I am a frequent box dyer and wanted a MAJOR change!! Going from dark brown(almost black) to silver & purple. Jeanette took the time to explain the process, explained how long it would take, and the up keep, she even helped me pick out products for my new look. It was a 5 hour process( Day 1) and will take several months to get my hair where I want but Jeanette was very thorough and patient. She really cares about her clients and I was thankful she was honest about the process and didnt want me to ruin my hair. She also explained what to do if I no longer wanted to continue the journey of going silver/purple. Cannot wait to go back to her for the next step!!!

    Cassidy was amazing! Went in for a full foil bleach and she got my hair, which was natural at the roots and highlighted at the ends, to an ice platinum in one sitting! Results obviously very from person to person but I was blown away and will definitely be coming back to her and telling my blonde friends to check her out as well. I believe the owner or manager was also there (with the rainbow hair, didnt get her name) and she was amazing as well, they even ended up leaving late to finish me off, easily best salon experience in my life. She was completely upfront and honest about what could be achieved with my hair and took time to explain everything. She did an AMAZING job!     Update - I was contacted by the DM of this areas Hair Cuttery as well as my stylist and the issue I has been resolved, tho there were some issues that needed to be resolved on the companys end to ensure future situations regarding communication do not result in upset or feelings of being ignored by patrons. For this, I am readjusting my review to 4/5 stars. They are a great team of people and I hope they continue to work towards ironing out issues to make service as excellent as it can be in addition to the great service they have continued to provide!
