I would have given 5 stars but I wont because of few things. I went there for a trimming, and silk pressed. She washed my hair very well. My scalp felt really good . But she was a little rough and the flat iron and hot comb burned me too many times that I didnt like. I also recommend you book for an appointment because walk-in takes forever to get done with your hair.

I love Gi-Gi! Very friendly and loves to hold conversations. Very gentle with your hair and I can tell she wants to make you look your best and will do what it takes to make your hair look silky smooth. She is awesome with weaves as well. If you havent been to Gi-Gis then NOW IS THE TIME!!

Very nice and comfortable salon. Gi-Gi is not just a hair stylist, she is a caretaker of hair! Always provides a wealth of information to help you take care of your hair. She takes great care of my hair, offering me a variety of style options, from natural hair blow outs, flexi rods, to protective styles such as crochet. The salon is relaxing and drama free. COVID -19 precautions are being effectively implemented!

I’ve been to De-Strat on multiple occasions over the last year or so. I’m very particular about who does my hair. Jackie did my goddess faux locs and goddess crochet locs. They were so neat. My first style lasted 3 months. The 2nd set lasted 3 months as well. My hair grows so fast but the older this style is the better they look. When taking my hair down I couldn’t believe how moisturized my hair was!!! Jackie uses a really great leave in when doing protective styles and I believe she makes it herself!!! I always get the look I’m going for and end up being a walking hair model. Everyone loves my hair. Thank you Jackie for being so knowledgeable and having great attention to detail.

Called made a appointment when I got there I still had to wait an hour. But I can say that the shampoo wash was the best wash I have ever had in my life she really scrub and got to the roots and because of that I will be back but i have to make sure I am the first customer so I will not have to wait.

When it comes to my natural hair I cant trust it with anyone.The day I came into her shop she was very careful of the products of choice which made me happy to know she uses products that I use.Since, I have been under her care my hair started above my bra line.Today its tail bone lenth.Very healthy.Her hydration method is so relaxing and very nourishing.She gives what your hair and scalp needs.I recommend her as being very professional,my hair is so beautiful and the atmosphere is relaxing.Stop in De-Strat Hair Design and ask for GiGi.You will be very pleased from start to finish.❤
