Amazing!! Like watching an artist at work. He is so kind and very professional … I am so happy I found Troy’s barber shop for my almost teenager. He made sure we were comfortable and stopped every few seconds to make sure he was on the right track of what we were thinking. He knows his stuff. Super easy going. Very nice to talk to. We will be back for every haircut from here on out. The building is several suites so just know that going in. You’re at the right place and there’s a map of all the businesses when you walk in. First time coming to Troy. Needed a new barber who allowed appointments due to my busy schedule. I was seated on time and finished before the estimated completion time. The haircut itself was the best one I have gotten since moving to FL from NY. He takes his time to make sure your cut is just as you would like. On top of that he is an honest businessman. I setup the appointment online for a haircut and beard trim which showed as $50. When I attempted to pay him $50 he told me that the prices for multiple services are listed inaccurately due to system limitations. He charged me what was a very fair price. Will be coming back for sure. Found my new barber.

I made an appointment for my 3 year old son at Troys Barbershop the night before. The online booking system was very simple and showed his availability, rather than having to wait until morning to try to call for an appointment. His shop is inside a larger suite (Mattison Avenue salon suites & spa) where many hair and spa services are located. At the entry, there is an easy-to-read map that guided us to his door. Troy was welcoming, and although running a few minutes behind with the previous client, he made us feel very comfortable while we waited. Throughout the hair cut, Troy was extremely patient and kind with my son who was nervous due to a barber at another business cutting his ear at his previous cut. Troy explained each item he was using and the purpose to make him feel at ease. He slowed down when he noticed my sons body language tensing up and was respectful of his limits. During the cut, a walk-in arrived requesting an appt for a unique cut. Troy was professional and booked them later in the day so he could really focus on their vision without feeling rushed between clients. At the end of the haircut, my son was proud of himself for being brave and looked very handsome. I would highly recommend Troys Barbershop to anyone looking for a caring, welcoming, professional place to get their hair cut.

Troy is a very respectful and amazing barber. He knocked the cut and the beard trim out of the park on my first visit. I was looking for a barber and he was in the break room studying on his laptop when I interrupted. He kindly paused his video and briefly spoke with me about how to make an appointment because he was booked up for that day. I’ve tried a few other barbers since just to know what was available in this area and now he’s the only barber I go to. He gives me the look I want at a fair price. A+

I went to Troy a few weeks ago on a Sunday evening. I called him that day, halfway through the day and he still found a way to sneak me in even as a first time customer. Thats what you call amazing customer service!As for the haircut, he understood exactly what I was asking for and made sure I was satisfied throughout the entire haircut before continuing onto the next step. Troy is a really good guy too, was able to small talk throughout the entire haircut.I will definitely be going back again and will be bringing my sons there as well! I watched my hair cut in the mirror and, for the first time (probably in my life), I felt good about how it was going to turn out as it was being cut. A lot of times, it looks weird as its being cut and you just have to trust the process and hope it turns out good. With every cut, I was more and more confident that it was going to turn out the way I wanted it to.Its very apparent that he cares about the quality of his work and takes pride in it. He takes the time to listen to what you want and how you want it and does everything he can to make it happen. Ive never been able to quite articulate exactly what I wanted because I dont know the lingo but Troy exceeded every expectation that I had. Cool place just one guy. Make an appointment youre in and out. Fade was good, top couldve been a little better.
