I work in retail and people ask me almost daily about my haircut. It was transformative for me and completely changed my attitude toward my hair. If you have wavy or curly hair, I would highly recommend giving Lindsay a try with a razor cut.

Lindsey is a powerhouse of talent in St Augustine. Her work stands above the rest! The services she provides could easily command more money in other areas of the Country. You all are lucky to have her in your area!!! Not only that, but she is fun to be around and super chill.Inda Salon is a beautiful, quiet, calm space in a perfect location in St Augustine. I found Lindsey through Instagram and waited until she opened the salon to come see her.She is super talented with razor & scissors, listens to what you want and is fun to talk to. Also educating me on how to take the best care follow my hair.Recently came back in for highlights and another cut. She did an amazing job! Im thrilled that the color looks lived in and the cut is face framing, yet still long. It will grow out perfect.I am blown away at her talent. You will be too.

I wanted to see the world, start a life of freedom and exploration, and all that required getting a job teaching abroad. But when I looked myself over in the mirror, I saw new creases have formed on this face, made to thin shadows in the late morning sun. My hair had grown well over my shoulders, and some grays had leaked through to wave back at me, serving as passive-aggressive reminders of my accursed mortality—the force that has pushed me to answer the question: will I die in the same place I was born, or will I see as much of this bountiful world as possible? But who would hire an aging, haggard man like me?Suddenly, I googled quality haircuts in my area and found Inda Salon. I set an appointment for a haircut. Lindsey was extremely helpful in working around my busy work week, and even rescheduled when it would better suit my needs. When I did get it cut, it was an incredible experience—she was kind, and listened to me prattle anxiously about the coming future.When she was done, she spun the chair around. I almost choked on my complimentary seltzer water when I saw who was in the mirror. I saw a groomed, dapper man—a man I could trust. I left my with a weight (literally) off my shoulders and when I arrived at my interview I did so, thanks to Inda Salon, confident and secure—with all I need to begin this monumental adventure.

Like a castle in the woods, lost to the sands of time and shapelessly overgrown, I walk through the doors of Inda Salon... Lindsey can hardly recognize the cartoonish figure resembling only a yeti freshly struck-by-lightning, yet she addresses this stranger with kindness and warmth.Me? Well a tumbleweed, escaped from West Texas took refuge upon my dome it would seem. I am disoriented, confused, and having lost memory of who I once was... overcome with shame.And it shows.It shows not only in the amorphous mass above my shoulders, but also in my eyes. The joyous light is flickering and its heartbeat... is fading.I take my seat.Lindsey whittles hair and self-loathing away with equal tact. Working methodically and precisely she does not CUT hair.. she sculpts it. Relieving of duty the woolly mass above my shoulders I feel my shape recover. Through the nose-of-my-soul a crisp, cool breeze enters gently like the first dawn of spring. The skyward snarl of blond is a dwindling memory, and who I see in the mirrors reflection triggers a rush of boyish exuberance. Color returns to my cheeks as tufts of useless overgrowth drift idly to the floor. Her blade leaving behind only what material will exist in harmony with the final form.I rise in a triumph over the matted refuse at my feet! Clumps of hair rest in the shadow of not only my body standing between them and the light, but in the shadow of my past standing between them and my future.I am brand new.
