    After years of loyalty to another salon, I grew frustrated with their declining customer service and decided to give Ahab’s a try. I’m so glad I made the switch! Ashah did an incredible job with my braids—her attention to detail is unmatched, and she has such a warm and kind spirit. The entire experience was top-notch. I can’t recommend her enough!

    The moment I stepped in I was welcomed with a smile. I had gotten medium sized braids and it was completed in 2 hours, the pricing was very reasonable and she was super quick. She was super sweet and a very calm person I would definitely be coming back!

    My experience here was absolutely wonderful! The owner is so kind, understanding and just a joy to be around. I texted her prior to my appointment and she was very responsive and was able to help me in choosing the hair I wanted for my braids. She also provides hair at her shop! She gave me some beautiful blonde knotless boho braids that I love. I will definitely be coming back!

    I absolutely love my hair! This was my first visit but I will be back and I will recommend this salon to my family and friends. Great service! Reasonable prices! Flexibility with scheduling and completion of braids in timely fashion.10.7.23-I had to come back to update my review. I returned to get my hair in twists. Ashah was accommodating with my schedule and got the job done quickly. My style is 3 weeks old and I am still getting compliments.

    It is a nerve-wracking experience looking for someone to do your hair when you have gone to the same person since the 90s! I looked at several places in the area and although there are very few reviews for this one I took the chance.I am rereading the reviews after my appointment and can say each one accurately paints the picture!I got medium size knotless braids which took about 6 hours and included the usual in between stuff.It is an easy location to get to, there was parking and the privacy wrap on the window is a nice touch!In order to wrap up how I felt about Ashah, I will say, it was a divinely orchestrated appointment from start to finish!I will be back.

    The moment I arrived I was greeted with love and smiles. Ashah and her friend (helper) both worked on my hair.. I told her the length, size and how I LOVE FULL box plaits. ( Make sure you tell her if you want full or not ) It wasnt overly full , it was PERFECT !!! She definitely understood the job. Mission completed !!! They did an AMAZING JOB. The shop is also clean and comfy. She also finished in a timely manner , which was a HUGE plus. The price is very reasonable and this is indeed going to be my go to braiding shop. I am so happy to have found this place. I know having photos is a plus to back up the review but I dont posts pics on here of me. So please take my word for it.-Thank you for reading,-Shae

    It has been a very long time since Ive been in a salon to get braids. This visit did not disappoint. It was very calming and had no hustle/ bustle with other clients. We took 1 break and still finished in 4 hrs for box braids. Amazing!! A very important part for me is tight braids, and I must say, I could not feel her braiding at the scalp. The look shows differently. It may appear that my braids are tight, but they are not, and my head truly appreciates that, and so does my hairline. I will definitely be a regular. Shes the best and it was money well spent. Thank you for being you and for being GREAT at your craft. Ill be seeing you again.

    Had my first appointment with Paulette today, I have been to many stylists over the years but none compare to Paulette. I was going to get a haircut only but after talking to her I decided to go with color too, Im so glad I did, I love the cut and color and my husband never comments on my hair color but he kept saying how good it looked and liked the cut too. Paulette was so helpful in helping me choose a style. My hair is fine and thin and the the cut she gave me makes it look fuller, great length and will be easy to maintain. I couldnt be happier and highly recommend her. Plus she is super nice!

    I came through the door a 1st time customer looking to have my hair plait. From the moment I entered the door I was greeted. The atmosphere was so peaceful and welcoming. My life was changed for the greater. I sat on her throne and as she plait my hair. She poured so much wisdom and knowledge into me. That my cup has overflown I’m seeking and searching for the Creator. I am forever indebted to you I praise the Most High for this Divine Connection. You are my friend my sister my mid wife.     My hair was in an awful state. It’s very long and had gotten EXTREMELY tangled. Asha spent almost 30 hours over five days meticulously untangling my hair. Asha SAVED my hair. I had been told by other stylists that there was nothing to be done.Asha is one of the most wonderful people I have ever met, and she will be a friend for life !

    Paulette makes my hair look amazing! Always does a great blend of highlights and lowlights that I love! She listens to what you want, so important! Prices are so reasonable too, cant beat that! Thanks Paulette!

    Paulette is a master when it comes to color! I sometimes wait too long before I come in for highlights but somehow she manages to blend it all together and make it work. I only wish I lived closer and could visit more often! Highly recommend if you’re looking for great cut and color!

    I highly recommend the shop I’ve been there three times and each time I get my hair done just exactly the way I asked to get my hair done she’s a lovely young lady and the shelf is always cleaning and special and nice and kind to people that come into her shop so please come and see what a very nice shop to get your hair braided and get the style that you want always.
