    Aimee is very professional, her shop is very clean, warm and welcoming. I always leave very satisfied, I know I’m going to get exactly what i asked for. my hair always comes out Very neat the Parts are very uniformed and she takes her time. Another thing She will be the only one working on your head and you will be done in 4 hours. I don’t like different hairdressers in my hair I’ve had A hairdresser who caused severe breakage to my hair with Aimee my hair has been very healthy. It’s been growing. The braids aren’t tight. You will be in very good hands and you will be satisfied with the results. You can tell she loves doing hair because it always shows.

    Ive had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Amie, and she is absolutely wonderful! Shes incredibly versatile with braiding and always ensures that I leave feeling happy and confident. Not only is she skilled, but she’s also so welcoming and makes every visit a great experience. I highly recommend Amie for all your hairstyle needs—Ill definitely be returning for all my future styles!

    I called to have braids put in my hair and they were so nice and asked for pictures of what I wanted done. My hair looks just like the picture if not better. See, I am white and I have short, very fine, straight hair and they were able to do it, no problem!! I am very pleased and will absolutely return!!

    She did my hair beautifully. It was done efficiently but she is fast her hands are blessed by God. I will go back in 2-3 weeks for another style. I love my hair its picture perfect I chose 4 beautiful braids and a bun.

    I’ve been gettin my hair cornrow for over 20 years now. My hair has never stayed in as long and neat as Amies Cornrows have… at the shop I was jammin to some good tunes. Laughing and joking, while trying not to move, too much, of course, having great conversation with Amie!

    I called and schedule an appointment with Nene. She told me to just come in. I have been driving to Tampa for four years. (Silly me) She is literally around the corner from me. I had a horrible experience the last time I went to Tampa so I was very cautious.She was courteous, professional and fast. I arrived at 6:00pm and she was done by 7:58pm. I gave her little direction and my hair came out beautifully. Her price was great and the atmosphere is clean and comfortable. Also, she sells high end African clothes and Hair products!! If your looking for a good Braid Salon check her out.

    I definitely love getting my hair done at this location the price is always right and every style I get always lasts over a month sometimes 8 weeks, Can not wait until I go back thank you for always doing great with my hair will definitely be back with my sisters as well immaculate service always.

    Listen, anyone who has been going to get their hair braided for years should know that it is a long process.. these women and men are standing on their feet all day making sure each braid is neat and uniform! And because they have to spend so much time for each client, it is only logical that they rotate between clients. For example, my hair dresser started one section and another came and finished the ends. Second round she comes back to start the next section , then another dresser comes in and finishes while she starts the next. The skill and efficiency was on 100% I will definitely be coming back! They got me as a regular - well deserved !

    I called ahead to see if I needed an appointment and was told to stop by. Its very much the barber shop style wait system. 1st come... I ended up waiting about 20 minutes before it was my time in the chair. And getting my hair down probably took 15 minutes. Its usually twice that time to get a good fade. I had no idea what I was getting and I didnt ask for much. I was blown away by how fast she was able to braid me up. Will definitely go back.

    So, I decided to try something different with my hair. I was getting tired of wearing it in a ponytail. I stopped by the shop on a Saturday morning and NeNe said she couldnt get me in today, BUT SUNDAY!!! So, I came back the next day and NeNe started my hair at 3pm, I was done before 4pm. I looked so cute! Looked 10 years younger. And Im going on week 3 with the style. Definitely going back within the next couple of weeks!

    I’m here visiting from Indianapolis and needed my hair braided so l looked up some braiding place. I came across Diatou’s African hair braiding, read her reviews and was quite impressed so I gave her a call NeNe was very nice and professional she was able to get me in the same day she had a wonderful personality and made me feel very comfortable and safe. Not only did she do a amazing job to my hair she also moves very quick. If I ever come back to Tampa to vacation and need my hair braided this is the salon I will definitely return too. OH! And did I mention this Sunday May9th 2021 isn’t just Mother’s Day but, it’s also my 29th Anniversary. Thank you NeNe for you great hospitality.

    I got box braids done at this salon and she was very professional and her shop is clean. I loved how fast she was. I was not sitting all day. & she allowed me use the WiFi so I could work while getting my hair done. Will be coming back after I take these braids out.

    WHITE GIRL HAIR EXTENSIONS TOO! This salon is not limited to hair braiding. I go to NeNe to get my weft hair extensions braided in. Ive been using hair extensions for over 10 years and I find this method the least damaging to your hair. I love going here because the quality of work is top notch, the hair stays longer, & its WAY more cost efficient!

    I was desperate to get my hair braided in Orlando but most of the locations were too far from my resort. When we got to Clear Water Florida I read the reviews about Diatou’s . I called and made an appointment . Madeline braided my hair far beyond my expectations !!     The best braiding salon in the whole Tampa and Tampa Bay. Good vibe and amazing people. They have nice African Earrings, bags, bikinis and clothes. If you are a small size girl and u never try African clothes and bikini go there, they have your size too. If you are tender headed, go there. If you are trying braids for the first time, go there. Very good group of ladies.
