    My spouse and I are snow birds for this first time this winter and were a little anxious about having to find a barber in St. Pete. We read reviews and settled on Billys Corner Barber Shop. We called ahead and talked to Billy Jr. and he let us know when we could take two of us. We each got a great cut and good conversation. He made us feel at home away from home and did a great job with each of our haircuts. Weve been back and are really happy with the no BS friendly service from Billy Jr.

    Ive been getting haircuts for almost 75 years now and I must say, until I come back to St. Pete...no barber will surpass the cut I got from Billy! I was a simple walk-in and any other barber to a stranger would have seen that as a quick 5 minute job...but not Billy. When I left, my wife sitting on the bench outside said that was the best my hair has looked since...she couldnt remember when. Its was a pleasure sitting in your chair and chatting while you made me look great. Thanks hardly says it all...so thank you so much and hopefully well meet again and you can cut my hair.

    I recently got a partial shave on side of my head, and have been new to the barber experience to maintain it. Sitting in Billy Jr’s chair was an amazing experience. He’s so friendly and he opened my mind to so much and I’m so grateful. The shop is extremely welcoming and lots of smiling faces in there with a team who does a bit of everything. Everyone has a different skill they bring to the table, so if it’s not Billy’s expertise, he has someone who does!

    Always go to Billy’s for a haircut, been to a lot of the other places in town and there is no atmosphere like it. A lot of the other shops around here are dens for older guys or are just salons. Not Billy’s though, he gives great cuts that last a long time (I used to need one every four weeks, now I can wait up to six). Love this place, and plan to keep coming back

    This is a classic barber shop in all the right ways. Locally owned and operated, family business and everyone there is incredibly polite and welcoming. On top of that, they take the time to make sure your looking your best! Billy’s been able to fit me in before a wedding or event on more than occasion saving me in photos. He is a master of his trade always able to clean up a line or stay with changing taste and style. I’ve yet to have a bad experience or bad cut here. For a local town like St. Pete this really is a local place and one I can’t recommend enough.

    I’ve been going to this barbershop for about 16 years, better than half my life. I couldn’t have anything better to say about Billy, Jr., Danielle, Omar, and John. My cut is primarily done by Jr. or Billy, but there’s not a barbershop around that can give you a better cut than anyone here. The customer service and atmosphere can NOT be beat.You want to schedule an appointment? Great they’ve got you covered.You stroll on any at any given time, like I typically do? Not a problem they’ve got you covered.There’s not much I look forward to more than heading to the shop for a quality cut.

    I cannot recommend Billy’s barber shop (and specifically Billy Jr) enough.I very reluctantly brought my 2.5 yr old to the shop after 2 horrible previous hair cut experiences… one at a “kid salon” 30 minute drive away and another locally at a different “typical barber shop”. I didn’t know what to expect when walking in Billy’s but both me and my son were greeted with big smiles and warm welcomes from everyone. My son immediately felt safe and excited, not his typical scared. Billy Jr was super exited to cut my sons hair - he made him comfortable by showing him his tools, propping him up high by sitting on a skateboard which my son was mesmerized by, and being sure to keep all cut hair off my son’s neck and face which always had made him the most uncomfortable previously. Billy Jr was amazing - patient, fast & skilled with the haircut, and so sweet to my little guy. His cut looks great and we will 100% be back. Also love that his cut is a “real cut” and not a “kids cut” - he gets so many compliments on his hair.

    Its so hard to find a good barber I used to get a haircut 1-2 weeks before an event so my hair had time to grow out and look normal. That was until I found Billys. Billy, Jr, and his entire staff are awesome! Cant say enough good things about this place.

    We enjoyed our first visit today. My almost-4-year-old is high spirited. Billy Jr. gave him the BEST haircut. Normally Im super stressed and have to engage my son, and sometimes even hold him still, the entire time. Today, Billy Jr showed true mastery of his craft. He said, Mom, we got this, in the nicest way. He kept my son happy and in the chair, even when he was trying to crawl out. He kept him engaged with the skateboard booster and chatting him up about the show he was watching, all while giving him the best cut and SO FAST!The general atmosphere and culture here is one of family and friends. Everyone was smiling and having a great time.I will definitely recommend to everyone I know and will keep coming back.

    I’ve been going here ever since I moved to Pinellas County. The conversations and haircuts are always top-notch. Billy is a master at his craft and has some of the best barbers working for him. It doesn’t matter if Danielle, Junior, or Billy cut your hair, you’ll always walk out looking like a million bucks

    Billy and Jr, as well as the rest of the crew are always friendly, and go out of their way to accommodate everyone. Ive never left there with anything less than a top notch hair cut. Today Billy took extra time to trim up my beard at no additional cost, despite my showing up as a walk in with little notice. It simply doesnt get better. They are American owned, small business. Zero regrets and Ill continue to come back and support them. They make every customer feel like family, ask genuine questions and would quite literally give you the shirt off their back if you needed it. Great folks, and we need more people like them

    Billy and his staff have been cutting the hair of my friend who has cerebral palsy ,is in a wheelchair and is nonverbal since 2017. There are not enough good things I can say about everyone there. Not only are they super patient with my friend while cutting his hair, but they also allow him to have his candy machine there and Billy calls him his business partner! We have never had a bad experience and we are so grateful to everyone there. We highly recommend Billys to everyone, especially those who have special needs.

    The best Barber shop in town by far. My haircut experience is top notch and the expertise and techniques are amazing. But I can get a great haircut in many spits for the right price. The reason I go to Billys Corner Barber Shop is the true compassion and transparent caring for people that has been displayed by Billy and John. Not to go into too much detail and both of these gentleman helped me out with haircuts to get me looking good for job interviews when I was in desperate need of break and was in a tough spot. They made sure I looked presentable and professional so I could put my best foot forward for my job interview. If you look good you feel good then you have the best opportunity to do good. I am a customer for life because of their humanitarian service and true honest compassion they have for their people.     St Pete’s best barbershop and barber - I’ve been going to Danielle at Billy’s Corner Barber Shop for nearly 6 years. I’m not mega picky, but I do like to look good and Danielle has kept me professional and clean time and again for years. I’ve had everything from shoulder length hair to a close crop since I’ve been going to Danielle. She’s always been flexible with my style and given great advice to help me decide on my look. No matter the cut, she’s been consistently excellent. She is always available for light conversation and a good St Pete activity or restaurant recommendation.Billy has created an atmosphere that’s welcoming and comfortable for all. Billy’s has character and feels like a shop rooted in the community it serves. Billy’s Corner Barber Shop is a St Pete staple.     I frequently bring my 3 year oldSon here to get his hair cut by Billy jr. Billy is so great with my son who was very nervous and shy the first few times we came. Billy jr understood how to handle this, and very quickly my son became very comfortable going to get his hair cut. The whole place is very family friendly and everyone is so kind every time we come in. Would recommend Billy jr to anyone with young kids !

    Billy’s Barbershop is the best! Billy Jr. has been cutting my hair for almost a decade and he gave my son his first haircut at 3 years old. My son is now 7 and Jr. is the only barber to cut his hair. He is patient and provides a fun, welcoming environment for kids!

    My boys have been coming here since we moved her in 2018. I have a 3 year old and he begs me to get a cut when I bring his older brothers in for their cuts! Billy, Billy Jr. or John usually take them as a last minute appointment or a walk in. Not only are they all extremely talented but they also are sweet to the kids and treat them with extreme kindness. They are on a mission to brighten up everyone’s day and bring the energy, especially for the little ones. All 3 of my boys are known by name and every time we come in we get a warm welcome from Danyel and Billy Jr. This barber shop is a true neighborhood gem and a place that makes St Pete feel like home for many.

    We just got our son’s haircut here with Billy Jr. and all I can say is WOW! What a great experience! We didn’t have to wait even though they were busy and Billy Jr. made our 3 year old laugh and smile throughout the entire haircut.     This is the best barber shop not only in town, but the best shop I’ve ever been to, and Danielle is the best barber I’ve ever had! I’ve gone here for 6 years and have never left unhappy. Even came here on my wedding day and the shop even offered to open early to cut all my groomsmen, then celebrated with us for a few hours. Billy is incredible and the shop feels like family.     If you are looking for a new barbershop then look no further! Ive been going to Billys on 4th street for years now. I cant say enough about how great of an establishment this is, and about Billy as a person. Billy would come into my job and see it was slow and tip me extremely well, then when the place closed he gave me an EXTREMELY discounted haircut and beard trim so I could look good for my interviews. That is only one story I have of many. Ive never left not looking and feeling better than when I came in. I honestly couldnt ever bring myself to go anywhere else because of the friendliness and consistency of service here with him and all of the staff. Id give 10 stars if I could!

    My experiences at Billy’s have been nothing but amazing. As a kid and when I first moved to the area, I did what was easiest for my parents; the usual visit to a chain shop to get the sides buzzed and top trimmed. I never knew how to talk to the random person cutting my hair, or what I wanted from a haircut. After a few months in Saint Pete, I found Billy’s by chance on Google, and decided to check it out. There hasn’t been a trip that that I have regrated that decision. For most of the time, I have been meeting with Billy himself, and haven’t wanted anyone else since – it’s an A+ service. However, the few times I have gotten haircuts by other members of the staff my experience has been wonderful as well. It’s a chatty, lively and friendly environment where you can talk all you like, and once you establish a relationship with your barber your experience only becomes better. The trims themselves are excellent, you get just what you ask for. If you don’t know precisely what you want, like I did when I first stared going, all the staff is easy to talk to and knowledgeable about what would suit you. I wouldn’t recommend another place in town more – if you are reading this now, stop and call to make your appointment! Thank you to Billy and his entire staff, what you guys have going is great. Customer for life!

    Billys is my favorite barber shop. I found it on Google a few years ago when I moved to St. Pete and it is by far the best option around. Even through the pandemic theyve remained as amazing as ever. My girl Danielle is THE TRUTH, great barber and an even better person. Ive got a cut from just about every one they have there and always walk out happy. Billy is a legend in the area for the shop as well as being good people. He does charity events and donations and keeps everybody looking good too. Would recommend this shop to any guy of any age looking for a quality cut with quality people.

    Having relocated many times, finding a new barber shop is one of the most difficult tasks after moving. I am very particular about where I get my haircut and had an exceptional experience with Billys Barber Shop. Billy himself answered the phone himself each of the times that I called to schedule my appointment. While they didnt have availability the first time, Billy was extremely friendly and exemplified great customer service. When I managed to find time in my schedule to make it in, the experience was what I would hope to have in a barber shop. I showed Danielle a picture of my previous cut and she was able to replicate it pretty quickly. In addition to the great haircut, she touched up my beard at no extra cost. I was very pleased and will be going back from now on.

    This. Is. The. Spot.Your friendly neighborhood barbershop thats full of friendly neighborhood humans. The shop is in a great location, its immediately welcoming once inside, and the experience out of the gate is comfortability. Its without a doubt a space that has little in the ways of the tedious piece of awkward small talk, but rather abundant in engagement (should that be what you enjoy, of course).Billy did my beard trim at the last minute for me as I needed a trim prior to work and later on a date. He was very accepting, very honest, very talented, and as genuine as he is generous. This is the type of barber that you want to see, and the type of shop you want to, at the very least, try on for size.

    Great people, and great hair cuts. The atmosphere is fantastic, it has that intimate feeling in a barbershop that the chains just dont have. All the barbers know what theyre doing and Ive never gotten a cleaner cut. Ive brought two of my friends here and they love it here too. Im Asian so its hard to find a barber who can cut my hair well, but they know how to do it excellently here. The owner knows a lot about what he is doing, and cares about all his customers. Incredible place and people, I highly recommend.

    Sometimes they get slammed but it’s worth the wait. Danielle has been doing my hair for a few years now and I always get back in her chair. The whole staff knows how to rock a great haircut.     I have really thick, bushy hair and finding a good barber in St. Pete took some time. Fortunately, I stopped by and received the best haircut I’ve ever had from Derrick. The conversation was fun, the atmosphere is AWESOME (as well as excellently curated, I might add), and everyone seemed happy to be there. I never thought I’d say this but I’m blown away by this barber shop. Definitely worth stopping by!!!

    The best barber shop not only in St Pete but the entire area. I started coming to Billys 4 years ago when I moved to St Pete. I tried out a couple others before finding this place.The staff is awesome and has a super chill atmosphere. Its hard to find a place that you can have any single one of the staff cut your hair and you will be pleased everytime.

    Went to Billy for my kids first barbershop experience. My oldest son is Autistic and I wasnt sure how he would handle it. Billy was great with him letting him be a part of the experience. This will be my whole families barber from now on. Even the other customers were understanding, and accommodating. Great shop. Wish I could give 10 stars.

    My son was married in downtown St. Pete so we traveled down from N. FL to attend. I needed a cut for a fresh look at his wedding. Going solely off of ratings I popped into Billys as a walk-in to find exactly what I was looking for. I was fortunate to have Billy cut my hair and witness his genuine interactions with everyone coming through the door. When we were done and it was time to pay, I came up $2 short with no tip money on top of that. Billy has a heart of gold. He told me go and be with my family, saving valuable time.     I have found my new barber. I have gone twice so far and both have been excellent cuts. The two guys iv seen cut are personable and are easy to talk to. When waiting you can tell they have a great customer base. Everybody that walks in the door is a regular! The only reason I dont give five stars isbecause of language in the shop on occasion. for the parents..they do keep it down when kids are there. If you want a good hair cut go to______. If you want an excellent one go to Billys.

    Awesome customer service! I called just as they were getting ready to close but was told to come by anyways. I arrived and Billy himself was waiting for me with a chair ready. It seemed like he knew every customer in the place personally and treated me, a stranger, just the same. I had the most stressful week and looked like a vagabond.     Dont trust any of the bad reviews. Ive been going to Billys for about 4 years now. Went to a few other shops around St. Pete in the past but none came close to delivering as good of a cut or atmosphere.     I came into St. Pete on vacation and wanted to get my haircut. I looked up Billys here on Google and saw they had great reviews so decided to pay them a visit. Walked in the door and right into a seat. I never was treated like a stranger. I felt right at home. If you love sports this is the place for you. Great haircut and a good neck shave. Cost was $16 and I gave them a $20. I would recommend this place to everyone. All the way from Seymour, Indiana.

    Were visiting St. Petersburg on vacation and I hadnt had a chance to visit my regular barber before flying out. My wife and I had just spent hours in the Dali museum and decided to take a nice walk through the wonderful neighborhoods, when we decide to find a place to get my hair cut. We searched yelp and Billys popped up on the top of the list and was only a short distance so we decided to give them a try, so glad we did!Its a small shop, but there are 5 stations and plenty of seats for waiting.     I took my 16 month old here today for a haircut. In the past this meant screaming and holding him down for his cut. But not at Billys corner barbershop! I was amazed! Billy though the time to give my son toys and make him feel comfortable and he did his entire haircut with zero tears. Oh ya...and the haircut was great too! Plus theres an entire box of trucks and helicopters to play with while we waited and cool sports memorabilia on the walls. I couldnt be happier.     An act of kindness bring me here to provide a review for Billys Corner Barber Shop. My car broke down yesterday right on 4th street N. and 21st Ave. near the Barber Shop. Two gentlemen came to rescue and help me pushing my car into the Barber Shops parking lot due to the concern of my safety. I was just glad my car did not block the major traffic on the 4th street. As I was taking care of my transportation issue, the owner of the Barber Shop came and invited me to his shop while I was waiting for a tow truck for my car. His son offered me a bottle of water and I had a pleasant conversation with him and one of the barbers. During the conversation, I noticed there were many happy customers in and out of the shop. Despite the misfortune with my car, I found a new faith in humanity and kudos to them.

    First i have to say i really liked my haircut and thats why Im giving it 4 stars. I had to wait over and hour to get my haircut all because this wait system they have, so if you are new to this place keep in mind you are waiting for the barber so it does matter where you sit to wait.     Always a pleasant experience. Good conversation and fantastic cuts. Love that Billy does beard, mustache and eyebrows. Its extra for beards, but well worth it.

    Omar gives a great straight razor shave. Staff was friendly. The price was very reasonable $25 for a hair cut and a shave. I will go there back again
