A friend who had been seeing Cam for 20 years referred me after I had a bad highlight experience and desperately needed it fixed. From that first appointment, I knew I had found someone I could completely trust with my hair.Cam always provides great suggestions and recommendations, and I never have to worry. I know I’m in good hands, and my hair will turn out exactly how I want it. Cam Hair Designs is professional, friendly, and welcoming, making every visit a great experience. Came in for a women’s cut including bang touch up, with blow dry. Aubree was the most patient and careful stylist! The entire salon of skilled stylist were providing each other with help, you can tell they really care! I was so relaxed and comfortable the entire time, as they were sure to confirm at each step of the way what exactly I was looking for. Walk out of this salon happier with each service!

I came with a vague idea of what I wanted, and the stylist worked with me to figure out what would look best. She was so kind, and she and the owner were professional and friendly. My hair feels so healthy now, and it looks amazing. The stylist worked to enhance the natural wave in my hair better than any other stylist I’ve been to.

I had a haircut for my own straight hair and I took my child who has VERY curly hair to get a haircut as well. My stylist was Alex and he was an absolute gem, he gave me the best haircut and shampoo service Ive had in my entire life. My hair lays beautifully and I was able to replicate the style myself at home with no problems. Miriam cut my childs curly hair and was very respectful about listening to their wants and needs as my kiddo was scared of having a shampoo at a salon so Miriam gave them a wet cut and style..the hair came out beautiful and healthy. Overall cannot reccomend this inclusive amazing salon enough.

5 stars isn’t nearly enough. Today was my second visit to Cam’s. I am new to Florida and was at the mercy of a google search of places near my home! By chance landed on This place. I had the most amazing salon experience. Not only is Cam incredibly talented, I appreciated her honesty when I asked for her opinion on what cut would look best for my face shape. Everyone in that salon is friendly and sweet just an over all 10/10 business. We are looking to move out of the area next year but I will continue to go to Cam as long as I’m in west Florida!

It was my first time going to CAM hair styles and I loved it. It was a wonderful experience from the minute Rebecca answered the phone and set up my reservation. Then I got there with my 2 girls who were also going for a hair cut and we were greeted with Cam who is sweet and delightful. Alex did my hair color and style and he matched my color perfectly and it was the best blow out and style I had in a long time. Miriam helped him as well to save time who was also great. Kalie cut my girls’ hair and followed exactly what we asked her. They all worked as a family and the vibes were very positive. I found my new hair family! Thank you guys. I will be back.

Found this place online and booked a spot with Alex! He was wonderful! The salon is clean and inviting, everyone working there was very nice. Alex did an amazing job and was so kind and professional. I finally found a great, affordable hair place in St Pete. I got a cut and color and feel great! I will definitely be back!

I’ve been going to Cam over 6 years now and she is the absolute best! She has a gift to see what styles looks good on people based on facial structures and hair type. I went to her the day before my wedding with a cut and highlight style in mind and she executed it perfectly on the first try. That is the level of trust I have in Cam’s incredible ability. I had so many compliments on my hair and the wedding photos turned out amazingly. The salon is clean, conveniently located, and all of the team that works there are friendly and talented.

I was new to the area last year and was looking for an exceptional hair stylist /place and I have found it. If you are looking for someone, look no further. This place is in a very small shopping plaza and rather inconspicuous, but I swear every stylist here is a Master and 5 stars. I believe Cam is the owner and one of the very best. I am seeing Michelle and each time she has exceeded my expectations. I may bring pictures and we discuss what I am wanting and she has delivered every time. I have observed the very best colors, extensions and cuts that are amazing. I do not generally write reviews unless it is well deserved. I drive 42 miles to see Michelle. I also know that Cam and Vanessa are top notch and you cannot go wrong with any of them. Please give them a try and you will be back. No lie. I love these gals!

I have known Cam for many years and I have never had an unsatisfying result, but its not just Cam, Ive have had her other high quality technicians at the salon and always felt that I am getting the best there is every time I visit. Cam and the staff are always attending seminars to keep up with the newest techniques to apply to their clients as Cam urges to give the best she has to offer. Cam Hair Designs is the ultimate salon , its the absolute very best I have ever been to hands down, Cam and her staff are so professional and loving from the moment you walk in the Door . You always feel like family your offered a cold beverage or hot and treated like family . This is not your ordinary salon, this is a cutting edge salon with combined years of experience and the newest techniques in cuts, color and of course many other cutting edge beauty makers like the Brazilian blow- out etc. the system they use for that specific treatment is something I have not ever seen in a salon with no fumes and incredible results !!!I must say my color and the products they use are top notch leaving hair , silky , shiny and soft texture they are not your typical colors, they are very high quality with vital nutrients for your hair and when you use the best products your color will not fade and or become dull.I also have never had anyone cut my hair Like Cam her expertise and trendy styles are remarkable . she and her staff are always learning and obtaining continuing education in the latest skill set for cutting coloring and many other techniques. Cam and her staff regularly attend Hair shows and take classes on the latest cutting edge styles and training , this in itself is an added bonus for clients as she is aware of what looks best and also can see things other stylists cannot.Her Staff also has an incredible style and artist vision as well and they are also trained by Cam herself , but each of them are so nice and are very proficient, I love the way they do my hair as well ! Great experience! Cam opened early to fit me in which I already so happy about. It only got better from there- Cam is amazing with hair! She knew exactly what type of braid updo I wanted. Also, it only took her ~30 minutes for a beautiful updo. I got so many compliments on it at the wedding I attended and the hair lasted for over 3 days. I will come back if I am ever in the area! So, I came in and my hair was an absolute mess, scraggly grey hair busting through all over and the overall texture of a broom. When I left, Alex had me feeling like a whole new woman. Very clean salon with a great staff, super knowledgeable about the perfect products I could use to keep my hair looking fresh with the lowest amount of maintenance. Great value for everything. I went in today and got a layered face framing haircut by Alex, he was amazing and it was better than what I brought for reference! I left and sent pictures to all my friends and recommended Alex/Cam Hair 😍 The atmosphere of this place was very friendly, the lady next to me seemed to be a regular and they were very inviting and entertaining to talk with. I went to Cam Hair because the high reviews; I have to say every single positive review is true! I REALLY wish I would have thought to take before and after pictures. My hair was so long and unmanageable I knew that I wanted a lot of it cut off and a little depth. Vanessa was so professional and knowledgeable. There was a slight mix up with scheduling (overbooked - probably my fault since they took me last minute) she and Cam worked it out like pros. I LOVE my cut and how nice and friendly everyone was. Even gave me some tips on how to deal with my messy mop :) The only negative is that they are a little expensive $165 for cut/dye.

Amazing service, friendly environment, affordable and highly skilled! Ive been coming to Cam for over 10 years now and do not trust anyone else with my hair! Even when I moved away I would fly home once a month just so I could see Cam to do my hair. She is an amazing hairstylist. Shes created so many great styles with my hair such as transforming my hair from platinum blonde to dark brown and then back to blonde without causing any damage! The staff are extremely skilled and well trained at what they do and I highly recommend coming here. You will not be disappointed.

From the minute I walked in and them saying my name as I approached the desk, I knew this was gonna be a good place. I went in with grey hair colored gold and looking like a bell! I came out with this silky blond grey hair that looks fantastic. Alex was so nice and diligent on my wants, and really listened. Cam, the owner, was there to give input which was awesome. I have had this silver grey hair for 10 years and I’m 53 and didn’t really want to embrace it. I have the most gorgeous blond that I have been searching for and finally got it here! I highly recommend Alex and I now have my daughter going to him too!

The salon is very nice and new, tastefully done. I have been a client of Sarahs for nearly 2 years now. I first met her when I walked into another salon with a broken heart and in need of change in style. Sarah was my stylist by dumb luck and she worked with me to change up my style to best suit me. She was so great and funny that I kept going back. When she moved to Cam Hair I moved with her and Im so glad I did. The staff are awesome and the salon is nicer and its way more reasonable for a mens cut. I will keep going back. I referred my brother there and he keeps going back too! Her eye for detail is above and beyond, I wear a pixie cut and not everyone can master the technique in cutting and styling it as she has done... We have already planned out, what she will be doing my next visit. The owner, Cam, walked over and introduced herself and welcomed me to her beautiful salon. Attention to detail: If you are looking for a stylist that goes above and beyond this place is the place to go. A trendy and friendly place to experience old and new talents...the owner has an impeccable skill set and caters to your wants and needs on how you want to express your own personal style. I have yet to find a master stylist as great as her and I no longer live in the area but still look for her every time I come into town. This review is long time overdue. I almost didn’t want to let the secret out but Alex is such a great hair stylist. His shampoos are spa status relaxing. You’re in good hands with him when it comes to any kind of color I’ve brought in pictures and gotten the exact pattern and shades I was hoping for. He’s a master of his craft when it comes to cuts I wouldn’t want to go to anyone else. I had made a mistake by letting a friend in hair school practice on my hair and he fixed it and gave me lowlights that I’m really happy with not to mention didn’t make the slightest bit of complaint that I went somewhere else but corrected some very poor mistakes on the first try. I can’t wait to evolve my style and try new things at this salon. Such a friendly and chill environment, I’m happy I found this place.

He has been doing fantasy colors regular colors and highlights before he even went to cosmetology school. He now is a senior hair stylist and specializes in fantasy colors, colors, highlights, smoothing systems, men’s cuts and medium to long precision cuts. You will have to experience his techniques. I went to this hair salon today to dye my hair, I told them that I didnt speak English well and that I needed the translator on my cell phone, the owner kindly told me that a girl would help me. The girl was very kind, respectful and with all the patience in the world she helped me schedule the time and explain.When I got to my place I went in and everyone very friendly greeted me and a very pretty and friendly stylist (blonde and blue-eyed in a dress) helped me. I told her that my English was very bad and that I needed my translator, who came from Chile 🇨 🇱 for vacation and she was very kind in explaining each procedure to me, respectful, very very nice and professional, she is an excellent stylist. At no time did I feel uncomfortable, on the contrary, they achieved what I wanted in my hair and everything turned out perfect!!! I recommend this place to all those foreigners and Americans from st. Pete and those who are on vacation and want to return to their country with beautiful hair! Thank you girls you are the best!!!!! I will never forget them ♥️
