I found Kerri through a recommendation for color correction, and WOW—I’m so glad I did! She absolutely nailed it. Not only is she insanely talented, but the whole salon has such a great vibe. The other stylists were super friendly, and the energy in the space made the time fly by. Normally, I can’t sit still for four hours, but here? I actually enjoyed it! If you’re looking for a stylist who knows her stuff and a salon that feels like hanging out with friends, this is the place. Highly recommend!

Stopped in today to check out the gift store. Madison was very helpful and pleasant! Ended up calling back as soon as i left, and was able to schedule a wash and finish with her today for the holiday weekend. My hair came out lovely! So enjoy having them on the island!

Alexa is wonderful, she is friendly, personable and informative through and through . She did an excellent job cutting my very long hair into a bob , a big swing that she made me feel confident about . She let my 7 yo lay out on the couch. Mimi & Alexa worked their magic! I gave them quite a challenge as my hair was heavily box dyed, uneven, and almost black. They walked me through the process, gave me realistic expectations & then proceeded to blow those expectations out of the water. I wasnt sure what I wanted when I arrived, only to fix my bad roots and color and get a nice cut. Alexa made many suggestions and took the time to talk about what we could do. I had two layers of root since I used a box color a while back, and the color was too blonde and brassy. She blended my natural color with a low-light, framed my face with high light and executed it perfectly. I left with the best color and a great cut. I recommend Alexa.

Omg! I had the best experience with Kayla! I came in regretting that I dyed my hair back to dark brown with box dye and she educated me so well on how to get back to a lighter color that was safe for my hair. Olivia was amazing! I’m so glad I booked with her after no luck finding someone I liked in the area and listening to my best friend from Cleveland who had Olivia as her stylist for 7 years. After my service, Olivia helped me with finding product to help with my oily hair after workouts per my request. The shop at Cohesion is so cute, I also went home with the cutest sea shell claw clip. I’ll definitely be back!

I received a text letting me know that my stylist was running and a few minutes behind and asking me to come in a few minutes later than scheduled. As soon as I walked in the door I felt comfortable in the professional and friendly environment. I was greeted warmly and waited less than 5 minutes to meet Ashley. Ashley asked questions and listened to my responses. She made sure she understood what I was wanted. In addition Ashley consulted with Mimi (the owner) on how to cut around my cowlicks and create the fun short style I was looking for. I received a 5-star haircut in a warm, friendly professional environment. I highly recommend Cohesion Hair Studio and Ashley.

As someone with curly hair, I have struggled to find a good stylist who understands the struggle of maintaining curly hair both healthy and looking great. I didn’t really believe the raves about Shannon, but since Mimi salon is the closest Aveda location, and I’d basically given up hope of liking my hair anyway, I booked an appointment.
