    Highly recommend this studio for hair color and for special events! I’ve been going to Doug’s salon for quite some time and I always try to recommend them when I can. We hired Kelsey from DBK for hair and make up for my wedding in September and I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome! Kelsey also died my hair before the wedding - the color was absolute perfection. I had a very specific request to go more blonde but with a darker shadow root. It was everything I wanted and more. I showed her inspo pictures and she listened to me. The hair do and make up for the wedding made all my dreams come true and the make up turned out wonderful in the pictures. I was nervous at first because I don’t usually do much to my hair and I wear minimal make up on a daily basis - Kelsey made sure I was comfortable and felt like myself!!! I cannot thank them enough! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!

    I have fallen in love with this place especially Noelle. This young lady is a genius. She listens to what you want n takes her time to get to know your hair. The shop is immaculate. All the stylest are friendly, welcoming n do great work.

    Lyndsey at DBK listens to what you want but also tells you honestly what is achievable for the hair you have right now. Gives great advice and does an amazing job.     I went to Kelsey for a full head foil and dimension. . I had some issues going in with red undertones And uneven tones. I was borderline color correction . She is also doing my extensions. I think her choice of toner and her application got me the most precise results I ever had. I have such confidence in her and excitement for my extensions. I’ve had them before but the color was never really right so I settled for the length and vulnerable. This was different, she understood what I wanted and she was able to do it. It was my first time in this salon. Every guest I saw while I was there walked out looking beautiful and happy. I could not be more excited to have her put my extensions in this week and maintain my hair going forward. Prices are reasonable. Great products. My daughter who is 20 said she never saw my color look so good and dimensional.

    Went to see Kelsey for a balayage service and a trim. She did an AMAZING job as usual! All the staff are nice and I had such a great time there. The products they use are of good quality as well. I highly recommend this hair salon and Kelsey is one of the best hairdresser in the area!

    I had the most amazing experience in this salon. Not only is it beautiful, but everyone is so kind. My stylist, Heaven, did an incredible job with my hair.     I got my hair cut and styled here right before my birthday and I could not have been happier. Heaven was my stylist and she was absolutely wonderful and I plan to continue going to her for all my future hair needs. We had a thorough consultation before starting anything on my hair. I showed her lots of pictures, and she provided me a lot of education on what it would take to “up keep” or style each “look” I was showing her in the pictures and we ultimately decided on something that would work best for me. The cut and style was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I typically have my hair long, straight, and all one length, so this was a big change for me, and I feel great! Definitely check this place out!

    This place is AMAZING and the owner, Doug, has really made this studio so special. The attention to detail, all the extras, and the welcoming warmth is great! And then there is KELSEY, who is my new favorite hair extension goddess. She is not only so sweet and fun, but she is passionate about her work, and truly loves what she does. I am grateful that I found this studio and I am happy with my new hair extensions. I only did 5 tape-ins on each side to help with some breakage of my hair, and they look AMAZING! The color matches perfectly, so healthy, so natural, and I feel great! Love this place and will be a long-term client. You rock Kelsey!

    One of the best hair salon experiences I’ve had so far. I reached out to get an appointment and they got back to me and set my appointment up within that week. They were super welcoming and fun great energy when I first walked in. I had Kayln do my hair and it was the first time I’ve ever felt comfortable with a stylist she listened to what I wanted and executed it perfect , she was super friendly and took her time doing my hair right. Was a great experience and I definitely had my hair saved haha , def recommend 🫶🏼

    This was my first visit to a new/different salon in years! Understandably , I was nervous. I had a very warm and welcome greeting. Michele cut and highlight my hair and I simply love her work.     Ive only been here two times and both times Ive received a beautiful haircut and good product recommendations from Kalyn. Additionally, the people at the front desk are super helpful and kind. The other week they made a mistake and charged me too much. When they realized the mistake, they ran out to my car to get me before I left and immediately fixed it. From that situation - I have the highest opinion of this salon. 10/10. I will always come back here.

    Kalyn did an awesome job with my hair! I’m a low maintenance blonde so I want my color to be able to grow out well for a little longer between visits and she did so great! I also chopped off about 8 inches and I love the style! She listen very well and absolutely executed what I wanted! Will be going back!The salon was clean, trendy and cute! I got a free redken hair treatment for my first visit so that was awesome! Everyone was kind and happy. Nothing to complain about!

    When my former stylist retired, I asked her for a recommendation for someone who could fill the big shoes she left behind. She recommended Doug who shed known for many years. Im so glad she did! Doug goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, focused on and listened to. I love his attention to detail! Its a bonus that hes also a master at what he does. I love the color hes given me and my hair is healthier than ever. I trust his recommendations and look forward to going to my appointment because I know its going to be a welcoming, relaxing, fun, indulgent experience. I was sad to see my last stylist go.     I had the most amazing experience:I was referred to Doug from a friend whose hair always looks amazing. I made an appointment and went with my daughter. I arrived at the salon to be greeted right away and was offered snacks and beverages. I then met Doug who was kind, funny and a wonderful person to have help with my frizzy madness. Dough fixed the color in my hair and walked me through how to manage my wavy/curly hair. it is truly eye opening to see how easy it was to manage my hair but it took an experts help to get there. my hair is still amazing and I look forward to my next appointmen.Thank you to Doug and his team for making me feel at home.

    I was in St Pete for my daughter’s wedding. The week before heading from Jersey to St Pete I attempted to use a new color that was way off! I made an appointment at DBK Salon in St Pete and Kelsey saved me!! She listened to the look/color I was looking for…she was spot on, fixed my hair exactly to the look i wanted!!     I cant say enough good things about DBK Hair Studio! First, the salon is immaculate and right now especially, cleanliness is critical. Doug and his team are all so nice, so attentive and most importantly, exceptional at what they do! I consider myself slightly high maintenance and yet they always make time and make sure Im 100% happy. I will also add that Ive worn two different kinds of hair extensions, beaded row and tape in and Caitlin is amazing! Ive been going to her for 8 years and would never go elsewhere.

    Doug, the owner, cuts my hair there. I have been to at least 20 different stylist who could not do what I wanted done with my hair and Doug has succeeded. He’s very patient and he listens to you and does what you ask him to do. I truly appreciate this and will continue going there. Plus it is a very pleasant atmosphere.     The staff is professional, friendly and welcoming. Their level of customer service exceeded my expectations. I loved the first class attention we received. Diana our stylist was amazing. Not only does she do amazing hair she was professional, accommodating and very down to earth. Diana did an amazing job on my hair and my sons hair. We recently relocated to St Petersburg so this was the first salon visited and of course now it will be the only salon because I found my stylist.
