Been going there for a good decade or so! Tom never ceases to hit the target. Whether it’s the same as usual or if you decide to go different he aims for his best. Both he & his wife are great & you can’t beat the straight razor treatment!

Great haircut. I used to go to “upscale” barbers that end up being $60+, but this was just as good, without the frills of a wash a free beer for under $20. Good cut, and quick.

Tom and Julie are the best, Ive been going here since 2016. Never a long wait, even when, like today, there were 5 people waiting in front of me when I walked in. Very quick and attentive to detail. Never had a bad cut here, they are incredibly consistent.Great atmosphere. Relaxing music playing, and they dont talk your ear off with small talk like every other barber Ive ever been to. I will continue to go here, even after I move out of the neighborhood.

Great barbershop 💈 They do a really good job and they listen to your requests. They actually know how to use scissors on your hair with precision unlike so many barbers who only know how to use clippers. This place is full of professionals. $ 12 haircuts for everyone and $6 beard trims

The man & the Lady both did a great job on my kids hair they dont do linework in the eyebrows or shaping but I can do that myself at home. I get what some are saying about them not being overly chatty but tbh I dont care lol I just wanted good cuts and I felt like that was what we got!I was pretty darn Impressed with the cuts. Especially the one the Lady did on my youngest...both did great work ❤️ my oldest was happy with his cut that the guy did and hes hard to please so I was happy 🥰

I found them a year or 2 back. In the entire time, Ive never had to shower the cut hairs off ever. They are THAT meticulous! Great cuts at an amazing price.

A friend recommended Julie at Disston Plaza Barbers and said she is a pro at styling and cutting short hair for women. Having very fine hair which was in desperate need of a cut I made an appointment and got right in. My friend was right!! Julie did a terrific job and gave me the best stylish cut I have had in a very long time. She is the most reasonably priced hair stylist I have ever been to and was well worth a generous tip. Thank you Julie! Hopefully more women looking to keep a short stylish cut will come running your way!

I have gotten my haircut here numerous times with no issues. It has been cut by both the husband and the wife and they have been top notch haircuts. I prefer to support local business when possible, but this couple exceeds any expectation for haircuts in the area. That is why I continue to support Disston 1 Barbershop!

Great haircut every time. I could not find a barber that I liked so I gave him a try and was so happy. I wont go anywhere else. Hes a perfectionist and really detail oriented. My favorite part though is the straight razor shave on the back of my neck with the hot shaving cream. Highly recommended

Good pricing, easy location, above and beyond service. He cut, trimmed, shaved, sculpted. Really took his time. Felt guilty paying his price for cut because he did so much work. Thank you Tom. Sadly no beard trim due to COVID.

I have been looking forever for a barber shop that is reasonable on price and quality and I have finally found it. Figures it was right around the corner the whole time 😂. Fast, efficient and great quality haircut for 12$. I will be back again and again!
