Thank you so much Alanna for your loving attention! Alanna was able to get me in day of my request! She was so flexible with the treatment we decided to do and it ended up being almost a 4 hour process of balayage and cut. The environment and vibe is lovely and optimistic. The staff is all amazing. I haven’t trusted anyone to touch my hair in over 5 years and I am super grateful to have found Alanna and Empower. Will be back 🙏🏽🫶🏽

Since moving to St. Pete in 2016, I’ve had a difficult journey finding a salon with that “Red Door” mini spa consistency that I had in Maryland, until a friend and colleague directed me to Empower. It’s a mini spa without soaring prices. The owners, Vanasa and Kerri live the name of their salon. They Empower their Team, their clients, and their community by constantly giving back. From the moment you step through the door, you know that you are in the hands of great stylists, and a place of empathy and warmth. For me, it’s a mini spa treatment from Vanessa each month when I go to have my short hair cut. And she creates highlights so natural looking that only I know my hair has highlights. She is indeed a master at her craft. I highly recommend Empower Salon. It’s my happy place!

First time customer. Jodie was very good. She thoroughly went through my hair and asked exactly what I wanted. The shampoo was very relaxing & I enjoyed the conditioner and hot towel wrap. She then cut my hair, taking her time, dried it & then cut it some more to thin it out. Blowing it dry was another thorough job. I am very pleased with the results and will be returning when needed!

Cannot recommend enough! Sara cut my hair and I truly cannot ever remember loving a hair cut more than this. Her attention to detail and customer skills are phenomenal, she was very genuine and easy to talk to. Everyone at the salon I spoke to was so friendly and helpful. I throughly enjoyed my appointment and will be returning. Also the products they sell in-house were really reasonably priced and felt amazing on the hair

I’ve been seeing Diana/Dee for almost a year and won’t go to anyone else! She is a magician when it comes to my hand tied extensions and color. I never had extensions prior and she’s been amazing with educating me and ensuring I get the longest life out of my extensions and has blended them in perfectly with my natural hair. She is also so warm and friendly and just an all around amazing gal.I highly recommend her to all!

Sarah at Empower does a wonderful job cutting and coloring my hair. Being fine and very straight, my hair is short and requires precision cutting to look its best. Sarah does all that and more. She helped me eliminate some damage caused by razor cutting from another salon and now I get lots of compliments on the cut and color. Sarah does highlights in my hair. And always works hard to get it looking just right.

Had another Wonderful experience with Alana!!! I’m ADHD so having a hairdresser be able to handle the fidgeting and exuberance is a Big Plus!!! And I wanted a fun/ young looking cut/color!!! “Beyond Deliver”!!!! She takes in your….. facial features, hair type, and your lifestyle to nail something you “LOVE” but works for you and with you!!!! She is a “Real” piece of gold !!! And everyone in the shop is friendly and fun !!! More like going to see friends than going to a salon to get a service done !!!! Soooo, glad I found “Empower” !!!! I got a haircut with Bayli and the entire experience was outstanding - from booking the appointment with the kind staff to the final blow dry. Bayli listened to what I wanted in a haircut and I was so happy with the final product! Sometimes in the past at other salons, the stylists gave me a cut they wanted and not really what I wanted so this was a nice change of pace! The salon is very welcoming and comfortable. Bayli is talented and also very kind and friendly. The shampoo was so relaxing too. I’ll definitely be back!

Last week was the first time I had ever gone to Empower to get my hair cut. It was great getting to meet Dee! She was great to work with because she listened to what I wanted and provided some suggestions for what kind of haircut would look great on me. I absolutely loved what she did and she showed how great she is at being a stylist! She explained how the way she cut my hair framed my face in a particular way! You can tell shes quite the expert! All the girls are very knowledgeable at this establishment, and the salon is very clean and organized. Kerri at Empower is amazing! I came in with a very specific thing in mind and she went beyond my expectations! I had an old ombre (about 16 months since my last dye job) and wanted something drastic and new. I sent her the reference photo and told her I wanted reds that matched my skin tone while also adding in dimension without flat color. I was a little afraid about damaging my hair, but Kerri took care to ensure that my hair stayed intact. Its been about 5 weeks and Ive had no more fallout with each wash than I had before my appointment, and my hair still looks amazing. The color retention is so good, and she trimmed all my dead ends as well. The cost was great value, at least for what Im used to paying in LA salons, and the quality of product is impeccable. She is great in the consultation, and was quick to reply to my instagram DM and get me in to the next available appt. She wants to make sure her clients are comfortable with their color, especially those who arent used to drastic changes. I cant wait to see Kerri again to refresh my red color and go in with an even icier white in the front!Reference photo, before photo, day of after in different lighting, and 4.5 weeks of growth attached. 10/10 recommend Kerri!

She did a quick consultation and provided great advice throughout the cut on what products would be great on my hair - not upselling at all, just genuine hair care advice. Yesterday was my first time at empower and Alana was my stylist! I had been growing out my natural color and length for about 3 years and really wanted to change it up. I was super nervous to cut all my hair off. Alana was truly incredible. She took her time with me, listened to me and taught me so much about how to style my hair. She nailed the cut & color. I left in a bit of shock because of how much length was gone but once I got over that initial shock, I am loving my new hair so much. I would recommend Alana & I will most def be going back to her for my next cut & color.

I got a cut and color and I really appreciated that she took the time to thoroughly explain the differences in the inspo photos I brought as well as even showing me the hair swatches to have an understanding of what color the finished product would look like. She even assessed my hair texture really well and provided great suggestions of the type of cut that would be most conducive for my texture. She was spot on! Had the best salon experience last week. Laura was my stylist and she is amazing! She listened to what I wanted and then delivered. She was also a very good conversationalist and I enjoyed her stories!The salon is open, bright and welcoming. I also love their community involvement and message (portion of their sales goes back into the community and they partner with local organizations) Annnnnd that was probably the best shampoo and condition of my life, I was not expecting to feel so RELAXED from it. Not only is she super sweet but she listens to concerns and does really specialized work when it comes to hair. I can’t imagine ever going anywhere else! I just recently moved to St Petersburg area and I was so nervous to try a new stylist! I live in the Crescent Lake area and I decided to go somewhere close to home, which brought me to Empower. I booked with Vanessa and I’m so happy I did! She really took the time from the start to understand exactly what I wanted and explained to me in detail exactly what she was going to do. I was looking for a more natural look and she was able to transform my hair into a beautiful masterpiece! Before, I feel as though my hair was full of split ends and so dried out. I went through post partum hair loss and grew a few greys as the result of my first few years of motherhood. She was able to address every concern I had and make my hair so beautiful and healthy. I will be going to her for all my hair needs from now on. The products they use are top of the line and more natural so I was able to get a peace of mind knowing what was going in my hair was good. The salon is so relaxing, clean and the ambiance is welcoming. I love supporting local businesses like these and I’m so happy I went here for my hair needs. 10/10 you won’t regret trying this salon out.

I love this space and the stylists! The salon is light and bright. They use only natural products, which is a big one for me. And the vibe is so warm and welcoming. They always want you to feel pampered and HEARD. Its a high-end experience without any pretentiousness. I started seeing Liz at Empower within the last year and could not recommend her/the whole salon more! Such a cute place and everyone there is so friendly. The products that they use are all more smell, skin, and hair friendly than most salons I’ve been to and you don’t get hit with the stench of ammonia right when you walk in, so I felt totally safe visiting while pregnant too which was huge!

I have been going to Cassilly ever since before she was at Empower. I cannot even put into words how amazing she is at her job. Not only is she amazing at doing hair but she also develops a relationship with her clients and cares about them a lot! She is so funny and like a ray of sunshine. Whenever you see her she makes you smile. She has been highlighting my hair for a little while now and always does an AMAZING job. I never exactly knew what I wanted when I first went to get my hair highlighted but Cassilly did exactly what I wanted without me even knowing myself 😂. The empower salon is very welcoming and has good vibes and I have never had nothing less than an amazing experience there. If you are looking to go here I highly recommend you do and even better ask for Cassilly!

They are the only ones I trust with achieving the color I want for my hair. They also pour so much back into their local community with donation drives for multiple organizations. After YEARS of trying to go blonde and having so many hair stylists literally butcher my hair I finally found Kerri at Empower salon !!!! I’m not kidding when I tell you that this woman completely saved not only the integrity of my hair but also my self esteem 💓 I have very very curly thin hair that seems thick when it’s dry. I met so many stylists before her that promised me a result that I now know was unattainable, but all they cared about was the $$ not me as a client . I absolutely LOVE the products empower salon uses, they’re all extremely healthy and clean and they’ve even recently brought K18 into the salon!!! I have been seeing Kerri and Kerri only for about 5 years now or so maybe even longer haha and I don’t think I’ll let anyone else ever touch my hair. Empower salon is my go too and I’ll always recommend it to friends and family !!! From full blonde, to a big chop, back to dark brown , adding a money piece she’s always given me the perfect results without the damage 🙏🏽

I did my hair for the very first time in my life with Kerri and I am so in love with the results, With what I asked I thought i would never get it, but she did it even better. I have to say I have a hug respect for this business. What began as a need for color refresh (blonde and neglected for over a year) turned into a hiccup in scheduling. The owner as well as one of their stylists addressed my needs, stayed late to accomodate me and did the classiest thing a small business owner could do, insist on going out of her way to ensure her staff were taken care of as well as the client. I have been a faithful client of Cassilly’s since she first began so it only made sense to follow her to her new home.Cassilly, as always, worked absolute magic on my hair. I came in with hair that truly suffered as the victim of my quarantine boredom and she managed to transform my disastrous hair into something beautiful.I can never sing her praises high enough because she continues to astound me with what she accomplishes. No matter the challenge I’ve brought her, from a bright blue peekaboo panel to a beautiful blonde balayage, she always exceeds my expectations. Above and beyond her talent, time spent with her is a true joy. She always makes you feel like the only person in the room when you’re in her chair.I would have followed Cassilly to Super Cuts if that had been her journey but what a blessing that she came to such an incredible salon. Empower is a wonderfully bright space that allows for a quiet and intimate experience. The moment you step inside, you feel completely relaxed and at ease. I was nervous about venturing out during the pandemic but they did a great job keeping clients far apart and I never once felt unsafe.Cassilly’s talent aside, the journey from North Tampa was well worth the trip for such a memorable experience.
