    My regular hair stylist was unavailable so I walked in to the 66th St N location around 4pm on Friday and was immediately seated with Ree Ree. She was friendly, courteous, fast, efficient, and thorough, did exactly what I asked for and gave me great haircut. Very pleased with experience at this location.

    We took my son in for his very first haircut, and wow, what an amazing experience! Brandon was our stylist, and we are beyond grateful for how fantastic the haircut turned out and how incredible he was with my son! I absolutely recommend Brandon for everyone—adults and kids!     Bella is wonderful! I have thick, coarse, and wavey hair that is difficult to tame. MANY times, Ive spent up to $160 for a cut and style with bad results because the hairdresser was not experienced with hair like mine. Since Im new-ish to St Pete, I hadnt found my permanent hairdresser. I was in dire need of a haircut and was in the neighborhood. Found Great Clips and happened to find great reviews for Bella. I walked in without an appointment and walked out VERY happy. Bella tamed my damaged and overgrown beast, even my crazy grays. I highly recommend her!!!

    My daughter and I have been going to Great Clips for years. Now, my granddaughter goes there. She is 2 yrs old and my daughter took her there for her first haircut. Weve never had a bad experience. The staff is friendly and always very knowledgeable! They also keep some basic records of what tools they may have used on your hair previously. The price is very reasonable as well. We go to the Shoppes at the Royale location in St. Petersburg, FL.

    DIANA has been my GO-TO-GAL for many years. She is painstaking in her attention and very chatty/pleasant/FUN. Checking in via the app is a plus EXCEPT for first thing in the morning as it takes five minutes after opening to be able to sign in. I miss the punchcards that earned a free cut. Prices are no longer a bargain as they used to be but Tuesday is discounted for seniors. Military gets a discount too. Download the app!

    Reasonable wait time with online check in. Had a young man (forgot his name) on his 2nd day at this shop. He did a wonderful job! He listened to what I wanted and asked appropriate questions to clarify my needs. Would definitely recommend this location.

    My son and I both had a great experience here. I came back to google just to make sure I saved their information and we will definitely be going back. Beth and Alex were amazing and we left very happy with our haircuts.I initially went in to get a botched cut(from another establishment) fixed. Beth listened and made sure to communicate what could be done and what couldn’t. I was a bit of a mess. Hair trauma stuff. She was extra gentle with her words while I cried over my botched cut and I’m so glad I ended up in her chair today.

    I appreciated that our stylists Diana and Ashley chatted with us unlike some places that just have you plop in the chair, snip, snip and off you go. Diana gave me advice to control the effects from my hair texture changing, so Ill see how it goes now that she did my overdue trim. Ashley did great with the cut my son wanted.Convenient location, upon arrival we could see our place in line from checking in online before we went.

    I normally cut my own hair because to me its just hair but for some reason I didnt feel up to it. So I went in and was extremely happy with the hair cut I got from Brandon!     Im terrible at telling people how I want my hair cut. Seriously they ask and I wave at my overly long hair and say just trying to shorten this down. Every time Ive gotten my hair cut perfectly. Im not a picky person when it comes to my hair but they dont just get it shorter they make it look great.

    I get my haircut once a month. Over the past year, I have had a couple of different hair stylist cut my hair and they all did a wonderful job. Everyone is very friendly. By checking in online I never have to wait. The prices are wonderful. I get coupons in the mail all the time.

    Efficient. Modern. Clean. I have beach hair! The leave in conditioner smelled like eucalyptus, next time i will ask for coconut. The suggestion upon check out for a $5, $7, $10 tip on a $20 haircut...eh. I did tip $5. I have already sent a few friends. I will return. And I do love that they are open 7 days a week.

    Update: I’m leaving my old review up-but if you have short hair and want an exceptional stylist, I highly recommend asking for Oscar! He did an amazing job!! Back at 5 stars!2023 review: I was hesitant to leave a review bc I’ve gone here for years and always loved all the stylists, but after reading other ppl’s reviews’s I feel confident that my experience was not a one-off. They have a stylist who has absolutely no idea how to cut hair. Or maybe she can do the basic trimming but Thats It? She has no name tag on and no license on her mirror so I didn’t get her name. I asked her not to use clippers and she used them anyway. Told her how I wanted my hair cut and in 5 seconds just cut thru all my hair (It’s very thick) and said she was done. It looked awful. I probably could’ve cut it myself in the bathroom mirror and it would’ve looked better. She could tell I wasn’t happy and offered to try to fix it but I did not want her touching my hair any more. Tried the location one more time and got another stylist who could neither follow instructions nor cut hair. I’m not sure if Alex still works at this location, but if he does, just ask for him. Otherwise, go somewhere else.

    My stylist was Bella and I had a horrible haircut in Tallahassee the week before and I didnt think it was fixable right away. Bella did a great job and my hair is fixed. Besides the great haircut she is very sweet and awesome to just talk to. It was all around a great experience and I will be going back to see Bella

    In 20 years I have NEVER walked out of a salon as happy as I did today. If youre looking for a drastic change, go see Bella! I had long hair and was aiming for a short bob cut. I have tried for this hair cut several times over the past few years and always end up walking out less than thrilled with the results. Then I have to grow it back out and try again the next year. I figured Id give it a try one more time because I have a 7 week old daughter that is now beginning to tug on my hair, and were doing a family photo session this evening, and Bella was great. She was communicative and listened to what I want, and asked me thru out my cut if I was happy with it or wanted any changes to what she was doing. I FINALLY walked out with the haircut Ive been aiming for, for several years and it looks fantastic!! Im gonna look great in our photos, that I was incredibly anxious even thinking about when I first walked into the salon!! Ladies seriously (and guys!) Go see Bella if youre looking to make a change and want awesome results!!! Thank you girl, I couldnt be more grateful!! 😁😁😁

    Update 3/30/2022: I needed a quick trim and decided to come here since my son comes here and weve had great experiences with him. I checked in while leaving work (I work in south tampa). I got here and only waited 5mins (less than my remaining time!). I showed a quick picture of how I wanted my hair trimmed and she did just that! I was in and out under 10mins 😃 best part was I only paid $17. My normal salon just for a trim would have been $65 (but thats also with wash, blow dry and style).I took my son here for the first time and really loved it. I typically avoid chain hair salons because its usually not a great cut but my sons haircut not only was exactly what we asked for but it was so fast and we had no wait. You can check in online and see the wait time first. The salon was clean and the 2 hairstylist working were really nice and friendly. I typically take my son to my uncles salon but he was very busy and couldnt squeeze him in that day. But this may be my new usually spot. The price point was the same and the salon was so clean.

    Sheryl gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had in my life! I explained what I’m dealing with (a hot mess) and how I manage it, and she knew exactly what to do. She explained what techniques she would use, and why and made me very comfortable. The best part? How she washed my hair! She massaged my scalp in a way that made my eyes roll so far back in my head, I think I saw my brain! She’s really funny too. The whole staff is. I had a great time and will be back to have my hair cut by Sheryl every time.

    Bella did an AMAZING job on my sons hair! He has very thick hair with curls and cowlicks - i.e. his hair is hard to cut!!!! - but Bella knew exactly what to do and gave him the best haircut hes had in a long time. Great Clips staff can be very hit or miss but this time it was an absolute HOME RUN and I hope Bella sticks around!!! She is a really talented stylist!

    I am so thoroughly shocked I could come into a great clips, with the biggest mess of 5 year old dreadlocks on my head and leave with tears of joy. I had been putting off removing my dreads for so long bc I was scared if what id be left with. More than likely a shaved head, or worse- a terrible haircut. But I left with everything but. Alex was nothing short of amazing. He treated me with so much kindness and compassion. And really listened to what I wanted- And this was no easy feat. He put so much effort into making sure I felt great about myself afterward and he made me feel so much better than I have, honestly, in years. It takes a special person to make you feel so comfortable to just let them have at it with your hair- which I hadnt done in years. Thank you so much Alex, youve won me and my family over. You are such an asset to this company and your community. Good people are hard to come by, and Im so grateful I did. You have idea the difference you just made in my life, sir. Namaste!

    Youve got to love this place! You can check in online before hand, walk in and they know your name, get a haircut within 15 to 20 minutes, and its not an expensive trip! My son always has a great haircut with the wonderful staff here at Great Clips.

    Best salon in st Pete I’ve ever found!!!!! Even with covid going on I used the online check in app on my phone and it make my experience even MORE GREAT!!! Estimated wait when I checked in was 30 minutes and I was taken back in 23...I clocked it. Between ween all their cleaning and sanitation in the salon I have never felt more safe getting a service in a salon. I’m so excited for my next visit already !!!!!!

    I am a 55 year old woman. I have followed Beth from one location to this one. In addition, two of my coworkers are now going to her. During my last visit I asked Beth to cut my hair shorter and cut out all of my Loreal dye. I wanted to go natural! Everyone in the salon cheered and I loved the cut! However, the sweetest response came from my husband last night. He came up behind me, kissed the top of my head and said, Babe, I love your hair now. Love the cut and your color is just beautiful. Beth, I owe you big time! I will follow you anywhere!

Being in a wheelchair, it is not always easy to find a salon that is totally accessible and knows what to do with you when you roll up to the station.     Everytime I come to this specific Great Clips I leave feeling like a million bucks!!! Bobby was tonights stylist and pulled off an amazing fade! I also absolutely love to see Denise! If you know me you would know Im a bit thin up top so I dont give them much hair to work with haha but I would recommend this Great Clips to anyone. One more thing, they always have a coupon for a mens haircut for $7.99 Im just not positive where the coupons are as they show up in different places.
