Allen is an amazing hair stylist, but most of all a color genius. He is knowledgeable and passionate. I have been a loyal client for 6 months now and happy every time!Highly recommended.Ill have to add photos at another time one on this machine. :(

Had my first color appointment with Allen, and I have to say that I totally agree with the other reviews. 5 stars just isn’t enough to give Allen. He’s truly a master at color! First let me say that he was very responsive to my request to speak with him over the phone about his products and whether they contain harsh chemicals. I was concerned because of a scalp issue that has caused some hair loss and bald patches. Allen explained that the color he uses is free of harsh chemicals and allayed my fears of having a reaction, which, in the end, I did not.I came in with very short hair that was flat in both style and color. I was in desperate need of color and wanting to brighten my dull, boring brown hair and cover my grays. Allen first educated me on color and warm and cool tones as well as my hair growth pattern and cowlick. With his hair sample color book, he asked me to pick out the look I was going for, whether warm or cool tones, so he could give me the look I wanted. Because Allen not only listened to me but asked questions and educated me, I trusted him in selecting the best color and highlights to give me the “pop” I was looking for. Well, he knocked it out of the park, not only with the color but with the style, which was exactly what I was looking for. I had mentioned that I loved the hair style in a photo I saw in the lobby of the founder of Phenix Salon Suites, and sure enough, I’m now sporting that cut and style! I cannot thank him enough or recommend him more highly. He is a talented artist who now has a lifelong client!

Allen is a true professional! From the moment I stepped into his studio, he made me feel welcome. Im fairly picky about my hair and tend to micromanage my cuts and colors. But with Allen, I felt confident. I was in and out before I realized and my gray hairs were completely convered! I am blown away by the quality of his work!
