They have earned a loyal customer just off of one appointment. The salon is VERY clean and they do all the necessary sanitizing after every customer to ensure cleanliness. They were welcoming, my appointment started right on time, and the service was amazing with amazing results. Marilyn did my hair and she was very patient and gentle. She knew what she was doing and ensured me that my natural hair was protected. I will definitely be coming back to this lovely establishment.

This establishment is well kept and very professional. The ladys are so welcoming and excepting, Yaima was my stylist and will be for a long time she is very skilled at her craft. I have a sensitive scalp when it comes to heat and I didnt feel any discomfort get a blowout or my hair flat iron. Yaima helps promote healthy hair and that is my number one goal. This establishment is well equipped and the ladys hete are well versed in their craft. I highly recommend all natural hair candidates go and receive the best hair care experience and more from this establishment. Marilyn is such a sweet lady and a talented stylist. I have a pixie cut and have had some bad experiences at other salons, so Im a little weary of trying a new stylist. Marilyn gave me an awesome cut for a third of the price of other salons Ive been to. She asked questions and showed me pictures to make sure I was onboard with her vision for my cut. Then she did a great job! If youre picky about your cut, go see her!

I always love my blowouts by jada!!! They last 2-3 weeks easily with proper maintenance of course. Ive been going to her for almost 2 years (getting blow outs on/off for like 1 year cumulative and the other times getting hair styled numerous of ways) and my hair has grown so much!!! At least 3-4 inches. She always makes the health of my hair a priority!!!!

I was visiting St. Petersburg two weeks ago and decided to get a hair cut. A quick search online showed Marilyns Hair Salon and I was able to make a quick reservation on facebook. I went there and Marilyn herself was available to do my hair cut. She was great! I had an idea of what I wanted but she took it to the next level, and unbelievably quick. She has amazing hands and you can see that she really loves what she does! I totally recommend this hair salon

The hairdressers are great! I use Rosa and PK for my extensions. The ONLY reason for 4 star instead of 5 star is ambience, if your looking for a fancy salon and champagne service then this is NOT for you. This is a no nonsense salon for a great price!!

Amazing!!! Jada was recommended by young lady whose hair color is exactly what I am interested in getting and she told me Marilyn did her color but Jada is who normally does her hair. Since I had 6 hours before my next class, called the salon to schedule an appt with Jada for color and trim. Jada asked the important questions about my current hair condition, then asked when did I want to come. I asked if she had anything today and she said yes. Fast forward, I arrive, tell Jada Im a virgin to color on my hair. When I say she layed my hair with the color and trim... not cut but trimmed exactly what needed to come off. Marilyn is the owner and the both of them made me feel comfortable with my new encounter. I highly recommend these ladies.The salon is very nice. The bonus is Jada advised me to never cut my hair. I eas contemplating it before but I am enjoying the color so I will standfast. Blessings be upon Marilyns Hair Salon, Marilyn, Jada and I believe the other stylist that was there is Whitney. I always get my hair washed and straightened by Rosa and the quality of service is no joke. I leave with my hair looking 10000000000000x better than what it was like when I walk in and I really love the hairstyles they give me for special occasions like how my hair was done when I went to my senior prom! 100/10 would recommend

Before I even moved cross country to St. Petersburg, Florida I had anxiety over who would care for my ‘in-between ’ ethnic long hair. When I called Marilyn after finding her name on the internet, she assured me that she was expert with all types of hair. She has been so welcoming, warm and professional. And her words rang true. My hair is the healthiest and longest it has ever been. I receive regular compliments. As Marilyn says it is ‘super largo’. I am so glad I found her.

I love coming to PK. About 6 months ago I got a keratin treatment from another shop that I thought my hair was never coming back from until PK puts hands on it. Although all of the damage isnt removed yet, I know with her assistance she will get my hair back and probably better than it ised to be.

Only place i will go. I love going to jada but everyone who works here is good top notch. Theres no place better i would say theyre the best in saint pete but theyre the best in the world im from newyork and this place tops every state ive been too. Fun and energetic. Music and dancing and nice conversation its not just a salon its much more than that. Men can come in too for the best hair cuts this shop does it all at fair prices too. And i love the new book on line feature. Ive been coming here for 3 years i cant wait till they expand and open more the world needs them. Such good people and good times. Best salon in all saint Pete and Tampa . Iam extremely picky with my hair , to the point that I a had the same hair dresser since I was 12 years old , when I moved I was freaking out because I didn’t know where to go after trying over 10 salons I found this one , they are extremely nice and they do an excellent job every time I go . I have been coming to this salon for over a year and it really pissed me off the review that some lady called butchered , THAT IS NOT TRUE AT ALL .
