    Ive been trying to find a place that is good with blond coloring for dark and gray roots and havent had much luck with getting close to what I envisioned until now. I booked with Maddy and I couldnt be happier with the result. I thought it would take at least a couple of attempts to get as light as I wanted but she nailed it first try. Ive had so many compliments since and feel great about my appearance again! All the staff are very friendly, greet you with coffee and a smile and the place was decorated in a cozy cute aesthetic with a chill vibe. I highly recommend.

    Miss Cassie did such an amazing job at color correcting my blonde! I have been to a few St. Pete Salons and she finally got me BLONDE.     My stylist, Eddie, did wonders for my hair. My once fussy bangs are divine and have grown out wonderfully. He understood exactly how to bring out the best natural features of my hair and applied what has turned out to be a beautiful, subtle layer of shimmering gold highlights for the summer.     Maddy Wright is absolutely amazing! I am so so picky with my cut and color and to get a feel for her style I got a trim today and it truly exceeded my expectations.     Having just moved to Saint Petersburg a month ago… I had a lot of anxiety about finding a salon that was a good fit for me… I am a blonde that needs a combination of highlights and low lights… I went on Yelp and other websites to research salons in the area and I came upon Roots Salon… I booked an appointment with Maddy Wright and am absolutely thrilled with the results of Maddy‘s work… I highly recommend Maddy for her expertise in color as well as styling!

    Maddy Wright changed my life today. I’d been rocking the silver for 5 years but lately felt it wasn’t me looking back from the mirror. Change needed and wow, we set it in motion! She knows her stuff! The cut, the highlights, the amazing blowout! It’s rare that I give Carte Blanche, especially with my tresses, but I needed a professional. Maddy is sensational! Super nice and a great listener. She knew what I wanted before I did. Salon is beautiful. Everyone is friendly. This was a most excellent experience. Can’t wait to go back for more!!!

    I stopped in for an updo from Mandie- she was so sweet, knowledgeable, and knew exactly what to do to make my fine hair look gorgeous. I received MANY compliments that evening, but more importantly I felt so confident and beautiful. Because Mandie helped me so much that evening, I booked an appointment for extensions and let me tell you I feel like a straight up stunner now! This is my first experience with them and Mandie eased all of my concerns during the consultation… she even color matched to my natural hair (from memory!!!) and while I was disappointed nobody really could tell they were in, I feel like that’s the whole point! She’s the only person I’ll trust for extensions, for real GO SEE HER!

    Maddy did a wonderful job! From virgin hair to balayage, it looks fantastic! My biggest concern was having roots that look bad so I asked if she could transition my natural black hair to brown then blonde. Mission accomplished! She trimmed my ends, curled my hair, and it looked phenomenal! Be sure to ask for Maddy!

    BEST HAIRCUT EVER!! I was searching for a master stylist that specialized in short hair and pixie cuts. Over the last few years I experienced substantial hair loss and knew I had to get rid of my blah bob and go short. I researched for over two years to find the perfect hair specialist and finally found Rick. Usually when I do a drastic haircut, I leave having to get used to it but this time I can honestly say this is the best short haircut I’ve ever had (and I’m 53). I will never go back to longer hair.     Mandy is great with blondes! I came in with some serious damage and breakage and super long roots. She took her time and made sure to use products that were going to safely get me to my blonde goals. She understands the science behind blonding and will get you to your blonde goals!!! She’s also great with everything else but I can speak personally to her blonding skills! Highly recommend, I’ve had my hair highlighted for 15 years and she has been the best experience to date!

    My new go to spot!!! First time at this salon, and if you know me, you know I am extremely picky with who does my hair. I booked with Lisa Willaert, and she did the most amazing job on my hair! For reference, I have very thick and long hair, and going into this appointment I hadn’t had my hair done in over a year. Not only was she efficient and put in the perfect blonde, she went the extra mile to make me comfortable AND she’s a wonderful conversationalist.     Nikki was fantastic! I called requesting a consultation to take my box-dyed black and red hair to a light red/copper color. She got me in the next day and did a very thorough consultation that made me feel very confident in her ability to get the job done. She was able to work me into her schedule in a reasonable time frame and successfully lightened my hair to a light copper color, just like I had asked for, without damaging my hair. I look forward to returning to her to maintain my color!

    Let me start out by saying I have serious hair stylist trust issues. For over 20 years they have been trying yo give me the same Jennifer Anniston haircut from Friends Thats not what I want. I went to Rick for the first time recently. He gave me just the right amount of layers and bang to make me look up to date with current hair trends. Finally someone that listened! Hes talented with a eye for face shape, hair texture, and overall design. I will not go anywhere else.

    Claudia is the best!!! She always does a great job, is so personable, and works with you to find the best time to come. The salon is quirky, clean, and relaxing. I moved out of state and Im going to miss her. Next time I go to Florida it will be to go to my tattoo artist and get my hair done by Claudia. Shes worth the wait!

    I found Rick looking up short hair specialists, and I am very happy I found him, he did not disappoint. He took the time to discuss what I wanted and did a thorough consultation with me. He was also very personable. The salon is beautiful and clean and practicing all covid safety precautions still. Most stylist just want to clipper cut my hair, which looks too masculine for me, and send me off, but Rick really took the time giving me a great cut and style.

    I found Lisa Willaert as a color specialist online, since my regular stylist wasnt available. I was scared to try somebody new, but Im glad she made me very comfortable from the moment I first called. Im very dark naturally , and I go very light blonde. And my hair is super fine , so Im really pushing it when it comes to bleaching, but she managed to lighten me up in the most gentle way and toned me absolutely perfect exactly like the picture I showed her first. Also, she worked fast and very confident .My color lasted well till retouch, more shiny than previously.
