I wish i could give more than 5 stars. the most professional, talented, TOP NOTCH individuals. i have been coming to tori for years and she has always exceeded my expectations! she is extremely articulate and detailed, never rushing the session and is a master at her craft. is always extremely hospitable offering snacks and beverages making sure i’m comfortable. oh and a beautiful view of the water. most importantly i always leave there feeling beautiful and confident. will never go to any other salon!!! they may be booked out for a bit but it is beyond worth the wait! :)

Came for a haircut and Jacqui was absolutely amazing. Showed her my inspo photo and she nailed it! Was so nice and did quality work. This was my first time at this salon, the vibes were great and Jacqui was wonderful!

Quaint place with a relaxing atmosphere. Jenna does my hair and I highly recommend her. Shes a color queen! No going grey for this 60 year old!! (If Jenna is booked, ask for Hannah). Youre guaranteed to love this place!

Leah, the salon owner is wonderful. She has been doing my hair for 6+ years. I get compliments constantly on my platinum hair. She is always professional and her prices are reasonable. All the other women who work in the salon are also friendly and do great work! The boutique is adorable and the clothes are cute. Salty roots has a welcoming atmosphere. It’s decorated nicely, they always have fun music playing, and a delicious coffee station. I recommend this salon to all my friends and family.

Rachel is one of the warmest and most proficient color specialists Ive had the pleasure of working with! I am very particular about color, and my hair tends to gravitate towards certain hues. Rachel uses her understanding of color science and listens to what Im trying to achieve with my hair style to mix the perfect colors for my look every time. She keeps current with trends and products, and always introduces new methods to keep my hair healthy and my color long-lasting. Rachel has an ability to connect with people immediately, and is equal parts a welcome friend and trusted professional during our appointments. She challenges me to push past my comfort zone, while understanding my limits and what works best for my hair. I have had a spectrum of honey blond to chocolate brown hues from Rachels artistry and have loved journeying along the hair spectrum knowing I can trust her every step of the way.

My husband and I both have had our hair done by Leah, the owner, for many years even before she opened her own salon. She is the best! Always friendly, does great work, and reasonably priced. I get compliments all the time on my highlights. She always keeps up with current trends. I highly recommend this salon and Leah! The boutique is also great. Love looking around before or after I get my hair done.

Veronica at Salty Roots does the best balayage in the Tampa Bay area! Every time I go to her I’m so excited because I know I’m going to be feeling so much more confident about my hair! She consults to know exactly what you want, takes her time to make sure everything is coming out correctly, and is a perfectionist, which is important especially when it comes to people’s hair!! She always checks in on me to make sure I am happy with my hair. I love her so much! She is so very talented and also the sweetest. Highly recommend to get your hair done with her!!!

I love Salty Roots! Where else can you get your hair done and shop in a stylish boutique all at once? The owner Leah is hands down the best stylist I’ve ever had! I get compliments on my highlights/lowlights and cut all the time. She’s super affordable, especially considering she’s so close to downtown St Pete where the prices are much higher. A trendy shop, great stylist and good times each time I go. You have a client for life!

Veronica is amazing! I’ve been coming to her for 3 years now and she never fails to take care of my hair and give amazing customer service! Blonde is very hard to get right but she gets it right every time. Not to mention, salty roots is the cutest and has the best vibes. I would recommend to everyone!

I had such a great experience here with Brittney! Scheduling is so easy, a lot of it can be done by text. The styling process was great, especially since we decided on a last-minute change. I was given lots of options and shown how they would look day to day. I felt so at ease, which is always a concern when going to a new salon and especially with everything going on. The precautions they take helped me feel safe but didnt detract frim the experience. Plus, I have gotten so many compliments on my hair and I feel like a new person, whats better than that?!

Was lucky enough to be Christines first client at Salty Roots! She is phenomenal, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She does a great job getting a feel for what you have in mind and checking in with you along the way. Not only is she a fabulous hairstylist, but she is just an overall awesome person to spend an hour+ of your day with! The boutique is very cute and has a great selection of classy beachy boho clothing and other items. After my cut and blowout with Christine, I picked up an adorable Little but fierce onesie and matching bloomers for my friends who just had their first baby. Im looking forward to my next visit and have already told a bunch of friends about this gem and about Christine!

I love getting my hair done here. Quiet personal spaces. Amazing stylists. I see Jenna, who is brilliant with color! Cute little boutique tucked in a quieter area of Central Ave. Its a 45 min drive for me and worth every minute of it.

Veronica was phenomenal! She specializes in blonde but she lightened my hair and added copper tones and I couldn’t be happier! I’m very indecisive and bad at describing what I want but Veronica was able to find the perfect color combination! She is so friendly and talented and I had an all around wonderful experience at the salon.

I’ve been going to Cayla for a while now and she is the best! She’s so sweet and super knowledgeable. She’s great with blonde hair, I’ve gotten highlights a few times and the color is always perfect. I also recommend her for extensions. She has put in both tape ins and clip ins for me and both looked natural and amazing. The salon/boutique is so cute too ❤️

I have had the great good fortune of meeting and adopting Leah LeSure as my hairstylist for a number of years. Moving here from the Washington DC area 11 years ago I was spoiled by extraordinary service from my previous stylist and was concerned about finding someone as good. I tried Leah through a groupon and have followed her through several salons until she opened Salty Roots Salon. It was kismet from the first appointment and moving forward. She is always warm, inviting, knowledgeable and oh so talented. I have thick, naturally curly hair, with highlights. It’s not easy finding someone who can work so well with all of the above while keeping my hair looking healthy. Leah does it with ease. I love the salon which has an added bonus of a fantastic boutique owned by her close friend and partner Sarah Mayer. It’s a perfect atmosphere of fun, music, coffee or wine, shopping and conversation. I’ve referred several people to Leah and they have all made her their go to girl! If you want to look and feel your best, try the salon and shop the boutique!

Veronica is amazing. I was looking for a blonde/color specialist a while ago and found her on instagram, and i’m glad i did. She has been doing my hair ever since and has never disappointed. Super knowledgeable and always explains exactly what she’s doing. I have super thick course hair so it’s difficult to manage and work on but Veronica has no problem making it exactly how i want it every time. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a new stylist.

Salty roots has such a cute vibe, its not a large salon which makes your experience there very personal. Veronica is a magician with hair, the dimensions she creates with color is amazing. I enioy the fact she explains everything and provides a comfortable environment. If youre looking for a blonde specialist shes your girl. Veronica is a blonding specialist. I came in and showed her a picture of what I wanted. Now mind you, I had not had my hair done in months so I was not expecting much as I know it is a process. Veronica worked her magic and exceeded my expectations. I cannot thank her enough, she made me feel so good about myself. Plus she’s a sweetheart. Highly recommend.

Leah, the spa owner, is the sweetest and most attentive hair stylist that I can recall working with...she is continually catering to your needs and wishes and the atmosphere is relaxing (which is vital to me) with a festive vibe. I just moved from NY, and was looking for a new stylist. I came across Stefania’s Instagram. Fast forward a few months, to today when I sat in her chair. From the moment I walked in, she was super sweet bubbly and asked me all the right questions about what I was looking for In my new do. She did amazing! I am 100% happy with how my hair turned out. The color was beautiful, her services were just super comforting. And my hair? Ohhhhh myyyyy my hair looks and feels amazing! It looks like a nailed finding a new stylist on the first try!
