    I had such an amazing experience with Jen I don’t even know where to start. She is the only person who knows exactly how to cut my Irish curls. You come in with an idea and Jen works her magic to make sure you get want you while making sure it works with your hair type. I refuse to go to any other stylist now. I’m a client for life!

    Richard at Apt 12 is a hair MAGICIAN!! 🪄He has perfected the art of blonde (not even just blonde, hair in general) and he is truly a gem of a human on top of it. Such a pleasure to work with and knows his stuff, he truly wants the best for his clients. I looked for the right blonde specialist in Sarasota for the last 5 years and Ive finally found THE person. Make an appointment with him, you wont regret it, promise!

    Laura AND Apartment 12 is the only place I would recommend in Sarasota. Laura has been my stylist for over 15 years and I cant say enough about her talents. I would say I am a picky client and she makes it happen EVERY time, no matter what I request, change or dream of. Apartment 12 is where hair GOALS come true. I get numerous compliments on the color and the health of my hair. JUST STOP reading reviews. AND GO. I promise. xoxoxo

    I have been coming here for about five years now and this hair studio is amazing! The atmosphere of the studio is very light and calming. Not to mention the decor, it is beautiful and creative, very Alice in Wonderland vibes. All of the stylists I have ever seen were great, from haircuts to hair color they are awesome. Highly rated for a reason! I am very picky with my hair, as most people are.. this studio is the ONLY place I will go.Laura is incredible, my appointments are like little therapy sessions with her 😆❤️

    Apartment 12 and Laura are amazing. I have been going to Laura for a couple years for highlights and she does a great job. I was especially happy this last time as I went in for highlights and since I have curly hair and leave the salon with wet hair, it is hard to see the finished product when I am there. Anywho, when I got home and styled my hair myself I was expecting a bit more blonde highlight then I saw. I emailed Laura and she was so kind. She got me in within 2 weeks, which is great considering how booked they are! She added more highlights free of charge and it came out amazing. I am so happy! Thank you to Apartment 12 and Laura! I would 100% recommend!

    Hannah gave me a beautiful shaggy cut on my hair. I dont typically leave reviews, especially when it comes to salon services, because Ive never quite been happy with any salon or stylist Ive seen. Hannah gave me exactly what I was looking for and was constantly checking in with me. She was also very down to earth and easy to talk to, which was very nice as a socially awkward introvert. Will be visiting her again soon for color.

    After a highlight-gone-wrong situation courtesy of another salon, I booked a color correction with Hannah at Apartment 12. Hannah was so kind and listened to what I wanted (also listened to what wasnt working for me with the disappointed service I had received elsewhere). She worked a miracle! I walked out looking incredible and feeling even better. The entire process was so easy - their online booking is perfection, everyone was incredibly nice and it is obvious that all of the stylists are best-in-class. I am so upset that I have passed by Apartment 12 for years thinking it was just too cute to be affordable. Couldnt have been more wrong! Go here. See Hannah. You wont regret it! I will be a loyal client forever.

    I’ve been going to Laura for about 6 years now and she always makes my hair look FANTASTIC. She’s colored my hair, she’s cut my hair, she’s given me new styles throughout the years, and she’s even taken hoursssss out of her day to fix my hair with what was supposed to be a “temporary” hair dye post-Halloween disaster! She always takes the time to make sure whatever you’re getting done is exactly how you wanted it to be and she truly exceeds all expectations. Everyone at the salon is so friendly and knows what they’re doing. I don’t use anything other than their R+Co products on my hair. The decor is absolutely gorgeous with very chic Wonderland/boho vibes. My hair was very damaged when I first went to Laura years ago and through all of her recommendations and the products she uses, my hair has never been healthier. All of it is beyond worth the expense. I have medium/thick, 2b curly hair and I’ve never been more satisfied or recommended a salon as much as I have Apartment 12 over the years. I tell everyone and anyone I can to go here!

    I’ve lived in Denver, San Diego etc and Hannah is by far the most talented hairstylist I’ve ever had! Her attention to detail and thought/time she puts into your haircut and color is amazing! I’ve never posted a google review for a hairstylist but I’m that impressed by her consistent, amazing talent. Thank you Hannah!

    Apartment 12 Salon is the only place I will go to have my hair done! I used to live in Sarasota and now travel more than an hour because no other place even comes close to the talent, quality, and service. Ive been seeing Laura for my hair for years and shes the best! The entire team is very talented and trained on the latest trends and techniques. I highly recommend this salon! ❤️❤️💇🏼

    Laura has cut my hair a couple of times since I moved to Sarasota and recently I had her dye my hair. I had a horrible experience with another stylist and was very apprehensive to have anyone dye my hair again. Not only did Laura correct the color but she added low lights to add some additional dimension. I left the salon very happy and highly recommend her.

    I have been going to Apartment 12 for 6+ years and absolutely love all the ladies at Apartment 12. Laura and Joanne are fabulous! I have very thin hair and they have done wonders with extensions and keeping me blonde. Plus it is really cute inside. I definitely recommend Apartment 12. It is always an amazing experience.

    I have been going to Apartment 12 since it opened and I have loved my hair every single time. The staff is friendly, the salon is stylish and most importantly they are up to date on hair trends and techniques. Unfortunately, I moved out of state, but love them so much that I make sure to book an appointment any time I am visiting. I highly recommend!

    This place rocks! Both Jo and Laura are amazing and talented stylists! Not only are they fun, super cool ladies, who aware of the latest trends in hair, make-up and clothing, but they have a great eye and a great sense of intuition when it comes to giving their clients exactly what you want. I am extremely selective, however cannot say enough for their fabulous and accommodating style. They always get it right…cut, color, extensions, whatever your wish. Receiving compliments on my cut and color everywhere I go is the sincerest compliment to the work they do! I highly recommend Apartment 12! You will leave happy. :)

    I absolutely love Apartment 12 Hair Studio! I have been a client for over 3 years now and I have found my forever hairstylist in Emily Pond. She is incredible! I never leave unhappy and she knows exactly what I am looking for every time. Emily also did my hair for my recent wedding at the Powel Crosley Estate. She took on a bride, mother of the bride, and 7 bridesmaids and made it look like a walk in the park! Everyone was beautiful and we were never once strapped for time. Apartment 12 goes above and beyond their call of duty to make their clients feel beautiful. I highly recommend their salon!

    I have been going to Joanne for the past 10 years. She is by far the best hair stylist, Ive ever had. I moved to NC about 7 years ago and make it a point to come and see Jo when I am home. My hair color is exceptional and I always love my cut!! If you are looking for a fun/funky/low key place to come and get your hair cut this is the place; grab a coffee, sit back and enjoy the atmosphere.

    I highly recommend Apartment 12. I see Joanne because she is very talented and you can go to her with confidence that you will be happy when you leave! She cuts and colors my hair to perfection EVERY time. She knows what she is doing and has an eye for what looks best on you! The salon has a very relaxing atmosphere and great location on Main Street.

    I had an amazing experience with Lindsay. She is very professional and did an awesome job on my hair and I am VERY PICKY because my hair is very long. She now has a new client! The atmosphere in the salon is very relaxing, yet still very ‘hip’ and modern.

    Just in Sarasota for a month but needed a haircut and color. Took a chance at Apartment 12 and was very pleased with the results. Carter did an outstanding job getting the color just perfect and I do not mean matching former hair color. I have been trying to get my regular stylist up North and others in Florida to make a change but had been unsuccessful. Cut was good as well.Only one thing I did not like, which is a studio issue, was the manner in which they handle tips to the stylist. When signing for your credit card charge you are given a choice of a 10, 15 or 20% tip and other if you choose. However, the owner is standing there with you holding the tablet while you make a choice. I was surprised but chose a percentage tip. Next time I will have cash ready to give directly to the stylist.

    Ive been going to Laura for about a year and a half and I am satisfied every time. Im a pretty picky client and she always makes it happen. Ive gone lighter and darker and she always manages to keep my hair healthy, while giving me what I asked. Not to mention shes so personable, and easy to chat with!

    I had the same hairdresser for the past 15 years. Although I was happy with him I never really was completely satisfied. I was in a rut and felt like I needed a change. I was referred to Emily Pond through my daughter Kristen Dean. Ive been going to her for the past 4 months and I am beyond happy and completely satisfied! Each time I go she NEVER fails me, Somehow she know exactly what I want! BEST HAIRDRESSER Ive found!!!!! Love her!

    I recently moved to Sarasota and was looking for a new stylist. I happened to walk by Apartment 12 and the first thing that struck me was the vibe of it. Very Anthropologie-esque, which appealed to me. I did a little research online and say they did some great work. I made an appointment with Laura, who probably didnt realize the job that lied ahead of her when I initially scheduled. I had been dying my medium brown hair black for almost 17 years. I wanted to go back to a more natural color but that much dye and some unfortunate highlights had left my hair a bit of a mess. However, Laura tackled the job like the pro that she is without making me feel embarrassed by the state of my hair. Two trips later and my hair is back to its original color without being fried. Thank you, Laura!

    Laura was referred to me by several clients of mine. I have finally found a stylist that can do blonde! No gold tones- no brass. Great atmosphere and the staff are all super friendly. If you are blonde and still have yet to have that great shade you wish to achieve, give this place a try! Hands down, love it here!

    I have been searching for a place to get my hair done and visited tons of places in Sarasota. FINALLY I have found my hair place!! I visited Lyndsay and she was so helpful!!
