Called 3 places after work to see if I can get a haircut and David was the only one who would take me. Upon entering the establishment David was a gentleman and even indulged in friendly conversation and teaching me about the things Sarasota has to offer. I appreciate everything David has done!

Very happy with my experience here! As someone who usually visits hair salons, I wanted to try a barber shop for a hairstyle that would better resonate with me. I showed Judy my desired hairstyle, and Judy did an amazing job cutting my hair and fitting the hairstyle to me. After a day, my hair settled and I was amazed! Many of my friends have complimented my new hair. The Grooming Lounge’s environment is cool and welcoming, too. Will definitely return!!

Went there for the first time 6 weeks ago and met Dave, the owner. I was going steady for about 7 years to one guy at Great clips, he was my guy, loved his work....was in and out. Anyways, so happened, he moved out of state which brings me to Dave. I was looking for the next guy and Dave is it, thank you Dave. Dave is a professional, to me a little slower than my first guy but, everyone is different, with that being said, Dave knows what he is doing. He asks what you want and he does it, chit chat with you, tell stories, great guy. Again, thanks Dave .....if you guys ever go by this way or move into the area...... Daves the guy.😁

Hubby had his hair cut by Judy. We got there close to closing and she had no problem helping him. Price was great too. He will be back. She did a great job as well. He said she was amazing and she trimmed his beard also. Thanks Judy. Its been hard to find a place he likes

Excellent!! My experience was with Enoch, the barber - a very friendly fellow. I’m leaving 5 stars because I have difficult hair to style and I almost never feel satisfied with my cuts. Enoch is an artist, he’s very passionate about his craft. Clearly, he gets it. I got a cut I love for once. Guys you need Enoch to cut your hair. Affordable too.

Very friendly staff here I’m so glad I picked this barber shop instead of another in the area. They are so nice and did a perfect job with my pixie cut. The price is really good too, I can’t wait to come back for my next haircut! :)

I have lived in Sarasota for 2 and a half years trying to find the right salon/barber shop to cut my hair. Tried many different ones to no avail. This week I stopped in at the Grooming Lounge in Gulf Gate Village. Dave gave me one of the BEST haircuts I have ever had. He listened to me, and talked me though what he was doing. When finished I smiled from ear to ear! What a great job! I have found the place I have been looking for....Fabulous job, Dave. You now have a regular customer!!!

Good haircut at a great price. Sometimes there just arent enough chairs operating to accommodate demand and there seems to be a constant musical chairs of barbers.Moved here a 15 months ago and my regular barber and backup barber are both gone. I still get a good cut ... Rachael did my hair recently and I hope shes there when I need my next one.

It was great! Stumbled across it on Google for my boyfriend to get his beard groomed, but I got my hair cut instead! I have long lady hair and I was in and out with a great fresh cut. My sister even came by and got her hair cut too! We have long (unkempt at times) hair, and the Grooming Lounge sent us out with soft, lovely locks! Thanks! Decor was super adorable too.

I used to get my hair cut here when I was a child. I’ve never been particular about my hair but when I need it cut well for an important event/meeting, I always make sure I get it cut here as soon as I get into town. Best Princeton cut you’ll ever get. Ever.

This is always my go-to place for a haircut. They always know exactly what I want and Im always very happy with the results. The whole staff is great at what they do and equally as great as far as personality is concerned. 10/10 would recommend.
