    Best hair stylist in Sarasota! Nicole works her magic on my 50+ year old head of hair - she covers my grey and keeps me holding my own in blonde highlights.Nicole is thoughtful and collaborative - she gives you the hair you want - not like some folks who give you the hair they want you to have!He salon is peaceful and private and she takes care of you. I’ve lived in San Francisco and LA and had great hair there - but I come back to Nicole.

    I have been going to Nicole for a couple of years now and this review is WAY TOO LATE. She is the best! Not only is your personalized experience great (no waiting in-between appointments , a relaxing space, and a true focus only on YOU) but your hair will look amazing. My hair has never been healthier and it is not an exaggeration that ever since I started going to Nicole when Im out and about I get so many compliments on my hair from you hair is so shiny to you have wonderful hair. Not only does my color look great but the cut is great as well. On top of all this, Nicole is a kind and wonderful person to get to know and truly is one of a kind with an awesome talent! I would not hesitate booking an appointment with Nicole as you will be so happy with the outcome!

    Nicole is the best hairdresser in town!! I really appreciate the time and effort Nicole gave me for my first appointment. She took the time to listen to my preferences and offer helpful advice to any hair issues I have. The scalp massage is to die for. Nicole creates such a warm and welcoming environment and I am always excited for my next appointment! I would 100% recommend Nicole to anyone looking for a thoughtful, knowledgeable, and extremely talented hairdresser.

    Nicole Self, owner of Selfless Hair,She is an amazing stylist. Nicole listens to your concerns. She’s totally andIntuitively connected to your needs.I brought photos of what wanted. She came through amazingly. She is warm and engaging. Her space is intimate and totally comfortable It was my first visit and I was very impressed.She is very knowledgeable about her hair products and will educate you on everyone of them.     I enjoyed a terrific experience at Selphness Hair Studio. The space is cheerful and comfortable. Nichole is an absolute delight to talk to. I appreciate the time she took to assess my hair issues and discuss style solutions. All that said, I love my haircut! I will definitely go back again.

    Nicole is an amazing hair stylist! I have thick, curly, crazy hair that I spent years straightening. Since moving to Florida, I have embraced my curls….in a wild, everyday is different crazy mop. When I met Nicole, she spent time talking to me and asking me what kind of cut/color/style I wanted. She made WONDERFUL suggestions!! My hair has never felt or looked better and it’s healthy, too! Nicole only uses natural products in her Studio. She colors and cuts my hair and adds highlights as needed. I get SO MANY compliments and the style stays looking great even when it’s time to come back!! Nicole is a beautiful person inside and out. She’s upbeat and a genuinely nice person.     I have been going to Nicole for a year now. Her services are always professional, her environment relaxed and yet fun. My hair has never looked better. I never like to have my hair cut because I lost length. Now I cant wait for my next cut. Her grey blending method is the bomb. You need to go here.

    Nicole has been cutting, coloring and styling my hair for longer than I can remember. I found her at least 12 years ago, and except for a short time when she left town, she has been my go-to hair person in Sarasota. My hair is long, frizzy-curly, and difficult to handle, but Nicole knows how to keep it healthy. Not only is she a talented hair stylist, colorist and hair educator, she is also a kind and delightful person to be around. She knows how to make you feel at home in her beautiful, private hair studio, while taking care of your hair. Ive gotten to know her well during these many years. And what I know about Nicole is she loves her work, loves her clients, and will make you look and feel terrific.

    Nicole has literally changed my hair’s life!!!! I found her a year ago when I was looking for a new hair stylist when I moved! I’m such a hard person to keep up with since I get bored with my hair styles very quickly and I’m always looking for change every few months... She always listens to my crazy needs, then she magically comes up with ideas & solutions:) & the results are 100% always better then I imagine! As I’m a curly hair girl, she always takes that into consideration when cutting and using products to be able to give my hair a nonfizz, Volumized, healthy look! Nicole is great about giving you tips and direction to even bring home with you so you yourself can keep your salon hair look going by yourself! Nicole is personable and we have some great conversations while I’m there! Let me also slide in here that her shampooing process with the little head massage.... RELAXING & amazing! I’m beyond thrilled that I have found her and would recommend her to anyone and everyone!!!

    I recently had the pleasure of getting what I call a hair make overwith Nicole. Going in, my hair was dry and frizzy and the color was too brassy. Nicole carefully listened to my concerns and made some helpful suggestions. When she was finished, I had a beautiful new cut and hair color.
