    The journey at this school was no walk in the park but the majority of the things in life aren’t. My experience has definitely been a unique and pleasant one. From Covid-19 to friendships, I have made great memories and obtained a career out of it in the process. You do have to put in a lot of work and extra time to receive the knowledge you need to succeed but it will all be worth it in the end. There are a lot of great teachers ready and eager to help you along the way and plenty of students willing to support you if you allow it. After 1 year of general studies, 9 months of scanning and 3 months of externship, I am proud to say that I have acquired a job and I beginning my road to register. It is my ultimate goal. Although I have officially finished all my class, the school is still allowing me access to the lab and other resources which I think is great. It has been a great experience and I do not regret anything at all.

    I absolutely love this school, I had some amazing educators , I love how they push you until you get it, there always there when you need them. I just finished the Ultrasound program and I must say I had the best teachers around Lisa and Janine and Marianna are the freaking best. Now, the program was changeling but most things in life are and when its something that you love and thrive for you are willing to over come that challenge at any means necessary. And when I say they were there every step of the way to pick us up and encourage us until the very last day. I thank God daily for the opportunity I was given at Meridian, what ever you put in to your education that is what you will get out of it, and that is with any and everything in life.

    I have always had a passion for trying new things and have always wanted to do hair. My best friend told me about this school when I told her I wanted to take the plunge and become a stylist. As she was a graduate from this school and has been a successful stylist for almost 20 years, I took her advice and enrolled. Even though I am twice the age of all the current students, I thought I might not fit in, but was I wrong. I love the instructors as well as my classmates. Our instructors keep the classes fun and always challenge me to try something new. I am currently in my fourth month and am loving it. While I have been here I have not only garnered friends but regular guests that request me. This has boosted my confidence tremendously. This makes me challenge myself to do more advanced styles. During my second month here I was afforded the opportunity to do hair for Parrish Playworks production of Dearly Beloved. I did a total of six showings with four being at the Bradenton Convention Center and two private showings for the Lakewood Ranch Del Webb communities. I had an absolute blast and was even added to the playbill. So to say I am thoroughly enjoying myself would be an understatement.

    When I started my journey to further my education I had quite a few options. After meeting with miss Kim (who’s amazing) I quickly realized that meridian may have been the perfect fit for me. I started off in cosmo, and realized that I was a better fit for the medical program, with no issues they worked with me and helped me get into the program I knew was right for me. Throughout my time at meridian I gained more than education, I gained friends, mentors, connections and professors that were eventually like my family. Meridian was there for me when I went through a very trying time in my life and were nothing less than supportive and understanding. I gained all the knowledge to be fully prepared for my first position in the field. Not to mention, two years later and I am still in close contact with my teachers and the admins at meridian. Ms.Tracey is an amazing resource and to this day is there for me if I need anything or have any questions at all! She truly is a forever resource!! I can’t wait to go back for the DMU program this year! I highly recommend meridian if you’re looking for a great school to further your education!

    Starting meridian college was one of the best decisions I made. The schedule fit perfectly with my busy lifestyle as a mom and wife. I was able to still spend time with my family as well as gain an education. The class sizes are small so I felt like I was important and mattered rather than just a number. The teachers were amazing. Mr.Ortega was awesome at educating and uplifting each and every student and telling us to never give up. Mrs. Sutliff was great at giving us tough love and really getting us to learn the material. I really felt like the whole staff at Meridian cared about our education and would do anything to help us along the way. Tracy works very hard at getting us placed at a job once we are finished with our externship and giving us advice that we will need when we do enter the workplace. I can now say that all their and my hard work has paid off. I was offered a position as an MA at the externship site I attended. I will be working in the field at a great Orthopedics and sports medicine facility.. If you are trying to decide which school to attend to further your education and to gain a great life long career, Meridian should be your only choice!

    Meridian Colleges cosmetology program is stellar! The course curriculum equips a student with a thorough and comprehensive education of hair, skin and nails. It provides fundamental course work and hands- on training that prepares students for a career in the beauty industry. The instructors are fantastic people- professional, caring and very committed to the growth of every student. I highly recommend Meridian College!

    Really liked attending this college. All the staff is really knowledgeable about their respective fields. Classes are flexible for morning or night. Classes move fast and you are done before you know it. Attending is an excellent way to get in a career focused path. All one has to do is show up and put in effort and the staff will help you get to where you want to go. Great experience.

    I absolutely love the Medical Assisting program offered here at Meridian. They surpassed my expectations. All the instructors are great, with answering all questions we had to making sure you understood the subject matter. The career service department is another great service offered here. They help you with how to put together a professional resume. I love my experience here, every single question I had they answered it. Thank you guys so much.

    Currently I am half way through the Cosmetology Program at Meridian- and I have to say from the basic cosmo class room to the salon floor I have had nothing but outstanding teachers; who tend to your questions, and listen to the way you want to try different techniques, then guide you to do so rather then turn you down. I have learned so much and I cannot wait to finish, knowing I have teacher who want to see me succeed and do the best I can - and better!

    My experience at Meridian College was everything I expected. From the time I walked into Meridian until my last day there was nothing but people who wanted the best for me. The teachers are awesome and really wants you to succeed. Through every trial and tribulation they stuck with me and pushed me to finish. Im so thankful for their desire to help me build a great future for myself and my family. If it wasnt for the staff there at Meridian I would have given up a long time ago. BUT Im proud to say I made it and now Im officially a graduate of Meridian College.     Going to Meridian College was one of the best decisions I ever made. I always wanted to be a medical assistant, after 4 years of CNA work I needed something better something that I would be happy and enjoy doing. From day one the teachers and the staff helped me always by pushing me to do my best. It wasnt easy, things happened in my life and they understood even by me moving back to Chicago they worked with me 1200 miles away helping me get a externship spot(Thank you Tracy). After my completion, I got offered a full time position on my last day as a extern!!! I am so thankful for everyone that helped me along the way.... hard work definitely pays off!!!

    Miss. Kim notified me of, the cosmetology program when I came in about inquiry of the ultrasound program. I had been looking for a good cosmetology program and I had finally found one. the instructors are good with the education and knowledge of what is to be known in order to pass your state boards. Come down to Meridian if you are interested in furthering your knowledge of hair, nails, and skin. THUMBS UP MERIDIAN!!!

    I absolutely loved everything about my experiece with Meridian College. Not only are the entire staff incredible but they all truly love their jobs and all go above and beyond their job description. The classes are small so its more intense one on one with the instructor(who by the way was more like a mother to us all and truly ccared and showed us every day how she loved us all) And the BEST part about going to a place like Meridian is that they have a career instructor named Tracey Forham who on multiple occasions has gone out of her way to not only build my resume but to also take it upon herself to calling her personal connections for me to get me more interviews when the first job didnt work out as well as I had planned!! So I just want to say THANK U THANK U THANK U for all your greatness and outstanding service!!!!

    Today we attended Smiles and Styles back to school event. OMG so much food! The kids enjoyed getting their teeth cleaned and fresh hair styles/haircuts. This is a great event sponsored by Meridian College annually. Thank you Tracy Fordham for caring and sending our kids back to school with clean teeth and fresh styles and lets not forget backpacks with school supplies and the hottest gadget surprise... the spinner! I have no clue but the kids absolutely love those things! Well done Meridian College/Tracy Fordham for getting our kids ready for the new school year.πŸ‘

    At first I wasnt sure I made the right choice with going to Meridian but after having the most understanding and knowledgeable teachers and taking a look on the past year with finishing the medical assistant program . I totally made the right choice , not even one month after graduation I was offered a fulltime position, due to the excellence on my externship . Thank you Meridian for all you have done .

    The college is awesome. I loved all the teachers there I met some great people along the way. When it was time for me to go out on my externship Ms. TRACY WAS great with the hole thing walked all of us what was going to happen on our site that she assigned us. And she was supper organized

    I just finished my Cosmo degree in here. I loved the atmosphere since my first visit, friendly staff and friendly students. My year in here flew by because I enjoyed it so much. Ill absolutely recommend it.
