Kristen is fabulous! First time that I have been to the salon which is clean and beautiful. My color (blonde) is so pretty and perfectly suited for my skin tone. Kristens hair cutting skills are impressive. My hair is cut in a bob and needs quite a bit of texturizing. Kristen used multiple texturizing techniques to achieve just the right look. Im so pleased with my service.. will definitely be back. Kristen is also very personable which is a bonus!

I went to poised beauty salon because my hair was a MESS!! I had lost alot of hair and it was growing back in, I had dyed it myself and it looked horrid!! Before setting an appointment, I had exchanged text messages with the owner about my needs which was really helpful.Neomi took care of me and she did a FABULOUS job with my cut and color- and the conversation was great as well.I would recommend this salon hands down!!

I love my cut and color. My stylist Kristen was awesome. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do with my cut and she worked with me to find me a style that I love. She did a great job blending my highlights using a partial foil. I highly recommend Kristen. The salon was stylish and clean. They offer complimentary beverages. Overall a wonderful experience.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Ashley really knocked it out of the park. With what she was given, she really turned it around and had me feeling GORGEOUS!! My philosophy on hair and body art in general is this: everyone’s an artist and it’s awesome when you let the artist run with the happy little accidents, and turn them into something beautiful. Truly made my day and I can’t wait to rock this hair for my wedding. Highly recommend Ashley for her talent. Lovely customer service and such an awesome eye for color. I had initially scheduled my appointment with Ashley based on her rave reviews after some horrible experiences with other salons regarding IBE installations and experiences in general. Let me just say I was so blown away with Ashley’s creative recommendations, and her skill and talent were absolutely what I was finally hoping for!She created a beautiful color blend with virtually no chemicals on my fine and damaged hair and I could not more happy!Ashley is truly lovely, and passionate about what she does! 10/10 recommend for extensions and color!I received quite a few compliments on my hair the same day after seeing Ashley, and my hair feels and looks amazing!Highly recommend her, she will not disappoint! Calling all curly girls.... Ashley is your girl for a color and cut. I moved from NJ a few months ago and was on a mission to find a stylist to color my roots. I did a lot of research and came across Ashleys name. She is quite literally the nicest and sweetest person you will ever meet. Not to mention, she nails my color every time. Ashley is patient and listens. Well yesterday I was floored when I saw the cut she gave her co-worker (who also had really curly hair). At that point, I knew she definitely had skills. Ashley is not formally trained in some of the patented curly cut methods and that is what makes her so exceptional. She has the ability to analyze your curl pattern and envision your look without giving you a cookie cutter haircut. Needless to say, she delivered!! I got the round shape and volume I so desperately wanted.

I am traveling and hadn’t had a haircut since December. I had been looking but just couldn’t find a salon to commit to. After reading other reviews about Poised I decided to give it a try. As soon as I walked in the door I felt welcomed. Everyone was very friendly. I chose Ashley because she had high reviews working on similar hair.I have a lot of hair that is coarse, curly, dry, frizzy…. You name it! I color it and straighten it. She wasn’t phased a bit! The products and methods she used to cut , dry, and style made my hair smooth, shiny, and healthy! She also told me what to do so I could keep this look! I went from full dread and braid extensions to nano beads (poor decision for my hair type). My hair was a complete disaster; I did not think it was fixable and I would dealing with this for the next year. I could have never expected such amazing results! I’ve been told multiple times by friends and family, if I didn’t know you I would believe this was your hair. I was so happy to meet with the team at Poised and watch them create miracles with hair. From matching to coloring to the cut- expertise shined through. Add in patience, kindness a real class act! My hair is naturally fine and fragile and recent treatments had taken its toll. Every part of that last statement was gone when I left the salon. I turned out like the pictures I admired on their insta! I couldn’t believe it !!! I cannot recommend Sarah and her team more. So grateful!!

My fears were unfounded because Ashley is a standout! I love my hair color and I enjoy talking to Ashley while she does my hair. She is very sweet and has a fantastic chair-side manner. I felt totally confident in the process and explanation provided by Ashley due to her training and expertise.I am happier than ever with my color and extensions. The extensions are so comfortable that I often forget its not my real hair. Sarah at Poised does my hair extensions, root touch ups and toning. Sarah is THE BEST! I have gone to many many people who claim to be blond specialists but none are as good as Sarah. My previous stylist did a platinum card on me several times in a row. My hair looked white and was super damaged, not the healthy beigy blond I wanted. Sarah got my hair to the right color without causing further damage. Sarah also does my hair extensions. Who knew long hair was a game changer. Seriously, its an investment but once I got extensions I started getting noticed! Worth every penny! I highly recommend Poised for all your hair needs! Book early!

The atmosphere of this salon is chic and elegant yet very comfortable. Sarah took her time with my color, getting it just perfect. The results were absolutely beautiful!! Not only did it remain that way, it looked completely natural growing out. And if I thought the color couldn’t get any better, I was wrong. She enhanced my color even more at the next appointment. Also the haircut was tailored to the needs of my hair such that I could air dry it and it still looked wonderful!!! The staff is professional and the overall experience is relaxing and spa-like!! To say I am blown away is an understatement. I came to Sarah for a second opinion because I had received extensions at another salon where I thought I received IBE and was having issues with the extensions. The beads kept showing with my grow outs and the weight of the hair on my head just never felt comfortable. When I went to Sarah for a consultation she immediately identified that I had not received IBE. She came up with a plan to “restart” my extensions. She colored them and my natural hair and picked a beautiful blonde that flatters my skin tone. She reinstalled them using the IBE method and cut them to blend. I cannot even begin to tell you the difference I felt leaving the salon. The color looked amazing and just how the hair felt and looked on my head was night and day. She was so meticulous and precise with the coloring, cut, and installation of the extensions. You can tell she is absolutely a perfectionist and very precise about her work. She is a true magician and really restored my confidence with my hair after my appointment with her today. Besides Sarah’s miracle work with my hair, the salon itself has such a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone is very personable and friendly. The decor is beautiful and the salon is very clean. I think it’s very difficult to find salons that make you feel welcome and relaxed anymore but Poised truly checked every box for me. I am so thankful that I decided to make a change and come here.

You never know what your missing when you don’t try new places. I’ve been to many salons, which no one could get exactly what I wanted, I went here with a referral and found Sarah years ago. Now shes opened her own salon. The stylists are versatile, (which is awesome to do all kinds of cut & color techniques. I appreciate the use of all the best color and products. Grab you’re mimosa have a seat and enjoy your experience.

Poised Beauty Salon is a great find. Everything is brand new and beautifully decorated. The chairs at the shampoo bowl have a power recliner and footrest. So relaxing! They have a great selection of my favorite Unite and Oribe products. But, what really matters are the results. Sarah is an amazing stylist. Her expertise in color is exceptional. She focuses on keeping my hair feeling and looking vibrant. I am so fortunate to have found Sarah and her awesome new salon.

The hair extensions I received was an amazing experience. My stylist listened to what I wanted, the hair feels so soft, doesnt tangle or shed, the color is a flawless match, and she blended the extensions with my hair perfectly; you cant even tell theyre extensions!Thank you Poised Beauty Salon for giving me added confidence.
