I took 2 of my daughters to Amanda for a haircut this evening and she did a great job! Her location is close to I-75 off fruitville which made it very convenient. Booking was easy and her pricing was very transparent on her website. She did a great job communicating details since it was our first time going to her. My girls loved the butterfly decor in her salon and were thrilled that she had some snacks available. She was also very patient with my elementary age girls and very friendly. Great experience!

I visited Amanda on Thursday for a root color and cut. My first visit! She took her time. I appreciated that and I loved the relaxing head massage. We had great conversations, both of us from MA. She did just what I asked. I left happy and will re-book.

There are so many words that come to mind when I think of this place but I think a word that really describes it well is just FABULOUS! The attention to detail and the beautiful work that Amanda does is just so amazing! She takes her time and she always makes sure its what you want. My experience was very personalized and my hair is so healthy now. If you want a wonderful salon experience and you need someone that really knows what theyre doing you need to go here! If I could give her 100 stars I would!

The best experience i’ve ever had getting my hair done!! Amanda is an amazing person, very attentive and listens to what you’re asking for with your hair to make sure you get the results you desire. My hair has grown so much it’s healthy now, I don’t trust anyone else with my hair!!

Today I got my hair cut for the first time in over a year due to the fact that I had 2 horrible haircut experiences since I moved to Florida in 2021. I had my hair done today by Amanda Colon, Owner of The Butterfly Effect Hair Salon in Sarasota. Amanda was very Kind and Professional as well as very detailed in the cut and in the explanation of the cut which I imagined in my head and was the final result. I love it and Im so happy I chose The Butterfly Effect 💯

Amanda really takes her time and cares about her clients. She listens and also uses her expertise to make your hair look its best. I left her chair feeling beautiful and I was also able to relax while I was there, which was really nice! Shes super sweet and talented!

I was fortunate enough to get Amanda when she was in the Paul Mitchell school here in Sarasota, FL. I was so happy to hear from her when she opened her own shop after graduation. Amanda is not only good at her job, shes sweet, easy to talk to and very reasonable. You wont be disappointed !!!
