    I just went in a week after having a baby and really needed my short hair thinned and cut so it was easy style. I have 5 kiddos and thick hair that I was tired of putting in a ponytail. I made a last minute appointment with Hunter because my mom was leaving who was our extra help and I canā€™t express enough how much I love my haircut. I have spent years looking for someone who can cut my thick hair well. I can dry my hair with a round brush in 15 min and it looks amazing! It doesnā€™t look puffy or too thin at the ends. I am so happy to have found a good stylist and they are close by to me.

    Came to Melbourne to attend a wedding and Kenna at Hair Engineers did an Amazing job! Everything from the scalp massage while washing my hair to the attention to detail as she did my blowout was superb! Definitely recommend seeing Kenna if you are in the area for your hair needs.

    Maddy B has been my hair engineer now for approaching six months. I would consider myself a somewhat precarious hair customer due to the rate of hair loss occurring due to a few unwelcome genetic gifts. As such each hair cut has been an adventure in conservation and experimentation. A few days ago, I was ready to surrender the balance of the hair on my head to the inevitable genes when Maddy B encouraged a compromise and delivered the best haircut Ive had in many years. In one brief but thorough appointment a degree of appreciation was restored for my remaining hair and together we discovered the correct hair course going forward. Incredible hair skills aside, Maddy as a conversationalist is second to none. I look forward to monthly visits and will continue to drop by even after the last hair has departed for the floor.

    I let my hair grow out for the first time and it was time to figure out what to do with this mess. I heard multiple votes for The Hair Engineers, so booked a visit and got set up with Maddy. When I walked in, the inside was bright and pleasant, and everyone was super nice (especially Thor the house pup.) When Maddy got me in the chair, she took the time to listen to what I had in mind, and figure out how my hair works to get the best result. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit, and would recommend her, and all of the Hair Engineers, to anyone.

    Iā€™ve been going to Maddy since I moved to SB a year ago. Itā€™s always daunting finding a new stylist/barber when you relocate (especially when youā€™re ridiculously particular), but I hit the jackpot! Maddy has been nothing short of amazing when it comes to every cut and beard trim. Itā€™s also been incredible watching her grow over the past year and really hone her craft doing menā€™s cuts!

    I have been coming here for months now for blonding services. Maddy is awesome and takes her time and lets you know every step of the way what she is doing to your hair. She checks in to make sure youā€™re comfortable and if you need anything while youā€™re processing. Sheā€™s awesome and all the other ladies here are fun and outgoing. The ambience is also a huge plus, there are gorgeous plants everywhere. Iā€™ve never had a bad time here and itā€™s awesome being able to trust in a local salon.     We went in to get a wig trimmed and styled for an anime convention coming up šŸ˜ The salon is so nice, and theres a friendly pup hanging out to pet while you wait! Maddy helped us with a consultation, cut, and style for the Misa Amane wig, she was so friendly, helpful, and skilled so happy to have had her help! We will definitely be going back and highly recommend you check them out!

    This place is amazing. After having the same stylist for 10 years, I was on the search for a great stylist in a great atmosphere, with great people. Nikki is a master with her scissorsā€”I finally found my new stylist!! She and her team are not only super down to earth, but they REALLY know what theyā€™re doing. Maddie cuts my sonā€™s hair and is amazing with him, gives him the best fade heā€™s ever had. Ella gives a head massage thatā€™ll put you to sleep! The space is artfully welcoming and full of gorgeous plants and scrumptious hand poured candles, both for purchase. A unique and thoroughly enjoyable experience. Glad I found this gem!

    I had long hair that I straightened regularly and decided to go in a new direction with: A pixie cut and embracing my natural waves. Maddy did an excellent job cutting my hair, and Nikki was extremely helpful and supportive throughout the process. The salon is beautiful, there are complementary drinks, and a sweet old doggo who came to greet me when I walked in! I had a lovely experience and will certainly return for my trims and maintenance.

    I am in LOVE with this salon!! Moved to the Melbourne FL area 7 years ago and have been searching endlessly for a great hair salon and I have FINALLY found it! Not only is this salon and all the stylists that work there super cool - Christina is the BEST when it comes to lived in blonde. My hair has never been healthier and looked better. I get compliments all the time and I cant rave about this salon enough. They work magic and can manage any type of hair and color you are looking for! They also have an amazing product line, Seven - you need this product for the FL heat and humidity! Give them a shot, thank me later!

    I am not sure how it aligned as it did - but my experience at @the.hair.engineers with @_christinadidmyhair was by far the highlight of October.The exceptional service from my initial call to the end of my appointment was beyond my expectations.The vibe at @the.hair.engineers is unlike anything I have experienced. It is cool and welcoming.Christinaā€™s work popped up on my IG and scrolling thru the Hair Engineers page I knew I found the place for me.The phone consultation was detailed and superior to any service I have had. Everyone there was happy and passionate and you felt like you knew them forever.If I could give 500 šŸŒŸs I would.Now, to start November with fresh hair after a couple of months in Florida sun and salt water.     I moved to Fl from DC/VA 7 years ago. Initially, I flew up there every 5 weeks to get my hair done. Hair is SO important!!!Well, that got old (and expensive) and after a couple of years I found a wonderful salon in Winter Park. Im still working and got tired of spending a free weekend day on my appt and the travel to and from.My cousin recommended a place in Satellite Beach. I thoroughly researched it (again, hair is SO important) and made my first appt. Ive never looked back.Nikki is phenomenal with my color and cut.The vibe here is wonderful and all they stylists are super lovely, talented and friendly.

    Nikki is absolutely amazing at what she does and when I moved here I had a few really bad cuts until I found her! She saved me from hair disgrace...for real. I had a super short cut when I first started seeing her and she did an amazing job keeping me up on my every 8-week cuts to keep it fresh. Now Ive grown out into a longer cut and see her a little less frequently, but she keeps it looking very healthy and gets a lot of movement in my heavy/dense hair. I recently tried her new K18 treatment as I had a bit of heat/processing damage plus a TON of summer humidity frizz and that stuff is AMAZING. I went Saturday through Wednesday without a wash. Just ran a brush through it and touched it up with a flat iron in a few spots each day for nearly perfect pin straight hair. I have never been able to sleep on my hair more than 1 day and have it look decent the next. This was day after day of almost perfectly styled hair when I woke up. Ill def be adding that to my services each time because it really cuts styling time. Critical for me. Love this place and will not go ANYWHERE else. Worth every cent!

    I got the best hair cut from Olivia while I was in town! She gave me the short, edgey cut I was looking for. Even Husband complimented how good it looked when I got home.     I had a wonderful experience with Nikki. I say experience because it was! From the moment you arrive you are made comfortable in their hip and stylish lobby, offered coffee and refreshments, then made to feel like a valued client when in the chair. She really listened to my requests as a new client and made me feel relaxed. She was a true professional and did a wonderful job on the cut and style.     Great service, hairstylists, and decor(FYI- they also sell a variety of hair products and house plants). Be aware they have a diff. charge process, which includes the service and tip built into the charge. Iā€™ve seen multiple services and people are always walking out loving the outcome. Honestly, itā€™s the only place that has been consistent, cares about the health of your hair, and that keep coming back to. If your lucky, youā€™ll get a greeting from Thor.

    This salon is hip with friendly service. I have never been to salon and have tradintional long hair but since its 2019 I decided to get an edgy undercut to with with my famous topknot style. Getting the bottom of my hair buzzed off with exciting and seeing how cool the design looked was satisfying. Nikki did a great job! I plan to come back soon.

    So i am very very particular with my hair. Im that kind that does a once a year haircut.I was skeptical at first. But as soon as i walked in the door i would not be disappointed.Olivia cut my hair. I explained i need a trim, some sass, no maintenance and play.And i am still playing with now healthy hair n sass like a dog chashing its tail or a cat smacking things off furniture.Like i said, i am very pertucular con haircuts, and i cant stop fluffing my hair cuz it looks so good.     Dear reader,Brevity is not the strongest nor is it the most stylish of my suits ,but I will endeavor to be concise for your sake.It was 11:30am on a beautiful Saturday morning. I called the Hair Engineers and had an appointment scheduled right away at 1pm.I walk in the door ,and was greeted promptly by my stylist, Alexis. She sat me sat me down ,and I described to her what I wanted.She then took to me to wash my hair. Before I knew what was happening, I found myself on the receiving end of a WONDERFUL scalp massage. Yes reader, you read that correctly. I nearly fell asleep I was so at ease and splendidly relaxed.Here I thought my stylist had taken a shine to me. I actually inquired ,and they give those luxuriating scalp massages to everyone!The subsequent hair cut was fantastic. She absolutely nailed it. Alexis was very easy to talk to ,and it before I knew it, I was done!Reader, I will leave you with this:I walked into The Hair Engineers looking good as Iā€™m wont to do :) I left The Hair Engineers FEELING good (as well as looking better with my new awesome cut).Overall very friendly and profesional experience.5/5 will be getting my next cut here ,and Iā€™m eagerly looking forward to it!     I love this salon! I found them online before I moved to satellite beach. They are the only salon Iā€™ve gone to! They are professional and talented.     Alex always does an amazing job on my hair! She listens to what I want, and gives me exactly that. Shes really talented and has such a passion for what she does, it really shines through in her work.     I love Nikki. She has been my stylist for 5 years and she is phenomenal. After my previous hairdresser bleached and fried my hair to orange, Nikki brought it back to life and now it looks like this.     Best haircut in all my 39 years! Thank you Nikole. I had super long thick curly hair that was completely unruly that Iā€™d just end up braiding every day of my life. I told Nikole I didnā€™t really know what I wanted other than layers to thin it out and to just do what she thought would look good. She went a lot shorter than Iā€™ve ever had it before, and I canā€™t even believe how great it looked. Itā€™s so easy to wash and blow dry now that my hair is actually straighter than itā€™s ever been my entire life. The way she layered it helped that as well. I actually have a hair style for the first time ever. All my other haircuts were 100% about how to manage my unruly hair. I never thought I could have one. Boy did she prove me wrong. I also had my brows done by another girl, and those turned out great. Sorry I canā€™t recall her name. On another note, the salon itself is adorable. They have wine if youā€™re into it, great music. Just a cool atmosphere. The prices are more reasonable than any other salon Iā€™ve ever been to thatā€™s that nice.
