    Never disappointed when I get hair braided in this shop. They are quick and my braids last. I love that I dont have to drive around looking for tue correct hair as it is included with the service. Always a pleasure to be in Amys shop!

    Love My Braids. lots of compliments ,with one set price hair included! Came in with my hair matted on accident and they carefully cared for my hair. Combed it out and blow dried it real good. I wouldn’t recommend doing that lol bc it slows down the process, but they also have a huge staff, three ladies did my braids in under 4/5 hours. Definitely coming back!

    I love my braids. I walked in on a Sunday evening with no appointment. And got 22 knotless braids. The price was reasonable. The ladies were professional. It was quick and I was in and out in about three hours. I will definitely go there again.

    I have finally found a stylist that I absolutely LOVE! I can say goodbye to Instagram stylists 🙂Funny thing it took me visiting Orlando, noticing a woman’s hair and asking her where she got it done when she told me about Amy’s African Hair Braiding was right here in Tampa! No complaints and will definitely continue supporting this business.

    My hair is beautiful. They squeezed me in for a last minute appointment. I wanted butterfly locs but they do not do that here. Mainly standard braids and kinky twists and a few others. Let me tell you... I am beyond pleased with my results. I got some kinky twists and bought the hair from the hairstore next door. Highly recommend.

    Amys shop is clean, and I just love going to her to get my braids. I AM VERY PARTICULAR! SO I ONLY GO TO HER SHOP FOR MY BRAID STYLES 🥰Recently she did my sisters hair and she loved it, soon she will be doing my eldest hair again. Keep up the good work, ladles.

    Amy’s did a great job braiding my hair! I called them less than 24hrs before I needed to make an appt and they were able to take me on a Saturday. Only issue was that I was there for almost 7 hrs! I can’t complain too much it was last minute on Saturday but wish I could have gotten out in the 4hrs I was quoted. Def think you will be better off making an appt.

    I have been here quite a few times by far Binetou (Bantu) and Amy are the best stylists. I honestly would not allow anyone else to do my hair. Binetou is quick and the most personable out of the two. She is extremely neat!!! One con they do not ask if you want 3 or 4 people working on your hair. Not a plus for me.Overall expensive and prices change without notice but well worth your money. One hair-do can last over 3 months if well taken care of!!!

    It was my first time getting my hair done by Amy and her team, It was a very pleasant and fun experience. I love the finished product. Ive never been to a salon where they treat you with so much hospitality. And the service was fast as well. I got Senegalese twist done on my hair and Amy was VERY FAST!

    Ive been going to Amys Hair Braiding for almost 15 years and the only person I allow to do my hair is Bintu. Shes very professional, caring, personable, and extremely fast. I recommend everyone to try them out. Its very clean. All the braiders are helpful. To me the prices are reasonable as well.

    I got small knotless braids and had the ends curled. They came out beautiful. Ive been a client of Amys African Braiding for many years and have always been happy with the quality of the hair styling, price and speed.My only dissatisfaction with this visit is being at the salon for 8 hours (11 a.m. - 8 p.m.). Ive usually gotten my hair done in about 4 hours at Amys African Braiding, so I was surprised and not pleased. Especially because I was called and asked to come in a day early from the appointment I had originally made (I was originally scheduled for a 9 a.m. appointment). I wasnt told an est. time of completion which would have changed my mind about coming in on an unplanned day.

    Im new to the area, and Ive tried multiple braid shops in Tampa/ Clearwater area with mixed but mostly mediocre results. However, it only took 1 visit at Amys to realize Ive found a new permanent shop. And its not just my opinion, I havent received this much attention since I was a baby 😂...With that said, Thanks for taking pride in your craft, it shows. See yall soon!

    Amy and all do a really great job with twists we got, they are fast, and help one another when needed. Just know that the website indicates credit cards are accepted but it is a CASH ONLY or Zelle business. We managed but was embarrassing to find out after service was done and followed to ATM to complete the transaction. Otherwise, a reliable shop for braiding, etc.

    Comfortable salon, the ladies are nice & my small waist length box braids came out beautiful! Fastest/neatest braids I’ve ever had and my head is not in pain. Definitely recommend.

    They had very good service just messed up the scheduling a little bit but it all worked out very fast braiding and its very neat each time my hair turned out nice and they are very nice to you its a little pricey but it is worth it your hair last long time and the provide the hair at the shop for you overall good in my books
