I moved from Pennsylvania and had to find a new hairdresser. I heard about Sandra from a coworker and decided to give her a shot. I loved how great she did with my naturally curly hair (and allll the advice she gave me!!) that I hired her as a hairstylist for my wedding and everyone gave my raving reviews about her!! She even inspired one of my bridesmaids to go on a natural hair journey and she’s sticking with it a year later. HIGHLY recommend Sandra. She’s so down to earth and great with hair of all textures.

I love going to Belanova! Elena is magic, if you watch while getting your hair done- each person who comes in leaves their own kind of beautiful. Ive been going to Belanova for years and when a woman comes in, she leaves feeling better. Ive seen girls going to prom and the whole salon of women celebrates them, from my chair Ive heard women talking about challenges in their lives and there is kindness from the others there. Elenas and her staff pay attention to each person who comes in and offer a level of exceptional service and skill. I am grateful that there is this level of a salon in the area.

Today was my first visit to Belanova Salon and the first time I’ve ever had my hair professionally colored. I was a bit nervous since I wasn’t sure what to expect but everyone was very kind to me and made me feel very comfortable. Elena colored my hair and added highlights and I am thrilled. She understood exactly what I wanted, my hair looks amazing and the color and highlights look natural, and and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve already booked my next appointment for a couple of months from now for when it’s time to do a touch up! Belanova is my new place. Highly recommend!

Ive been a customer of Belanova for a few years now. Belanova is IMO one of the best salons in Tampa. I had my haircut yesterday. I scheduled it online (on their app) with Liz. I was a bit earlier for my appointment, so when Elena (the owner) showed up, and opened the salon, she greeted me warmly, and didnt just sit there. She immediately started washing my hair and blow drying. Then Liz gave me an amazing haircut. As she always does!Both Elena and Liz are incredibly hard workers, and talented, and you can see how supportive of each other/team players they are, when it comes to caring for their customers. They treat you with respect, always asks you what youre looking to do with your hair, whether it is style, cut or color. At Belanova salon they strive for perfection, dont let anybody tell you otherwise!

I have been going to Bella Nova Salon for years and I’ve always had exceptional service and always always walk away looking 150% better than when I came in. The staff is professional and skilled in all aspects of hair care, whether it’s cut, root touch up, highlights, or style! George gives the best shampoos and is also a skilled colorist and stylist. I don’t always get the same person because I procrastinate in making an appointment, but I must say that whomever I get does an excellent job! Owner Elena is wonderful and really knows my hair! I thank all the members of her team for always making me look good again!!

Amazing salon!!! I have been coming to this salon since it opened. I followed Elena, who is the owner from a prior salon where she worked. I could not be happier with my hair. All of the salon staff are nice and very professional and accommodating. I have received many compliments on my cuts and my color from not only random people, but also from NYC and LA stylists when I travel. That’s a great compliment more so to Elena than to me. I highly recommend her and any of her other stylists. If you are looking for a high-end salon where you will leave feeling gorgeous every time, Bella Nova is the place for you!

I’ve been coming to Sandra at Belanova Salon for a year now! I’m a little tough of a client because I have a vibrant blue color. She just transforms my hair to blues (she’s colored my hair multiple blue shades) I could have never imagined the depth and colors she can bring to my hair. Not to mention the bleach and products she uses do not damage my hair. The people at the salon are absolutely friendly as well. I’d rate this salon 10/5 if I could! I am always satisfied.

Ever since I stepped foot in here the first time not too long after they opened their Dale Mabry location I fell in love. All the hair artists are personable, kind, and TALENTED. Ive gone back and forth between Jenna and Elena for my cut color and blow. Even the wonderful ladies who have not worked with my hair are just so kind and remember me despite not being their client.Ive never loved my hair so much before.The hospitality is wonderful, down to offering a drink while I wait or to enjoy during my experience.They are fun, professional, and brought back the meaning of going for a salon day. So many of us are busy in the hustle and bustle around Tampa we often overlook these female managed spaces where we can come and let our hair down, be cared for, talk our tea (bc hair artists always know the tea) and walk out looking fabulous.Coming here isnt just going for a haircutIts going for a hair rejuvenation

My daughter has been telling me I should try Elena because I have been wanting a change from my usual at home root color I do. I was a little hesitant because I was afraid to lighten my hair after all the years of dark color that was on my hair. I finally bit the bullet and came in and I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! She suggested a balayage/baby light mix because I wanted dimension but also to blend my grays. She would apply the color then rinse out sections as they were done so my hair wouldnt over process. My grandson also gets his haircut there. He sees Carl. My grandson has down syndrome and Carl is always patient and makes him feel very comfortable and relaxed. The entire salon staff is super friendly! I will definitely be back.

I was very happy and excited with my experience at Belanova Salon I came in looking like I was in desperate need of giving my hair a serious face lift and Elizabeth Gonzalez literally revived my dead hair. I was ecstatic with the results. I want to totally recommend her amazing talent in gray coverage, highlights, keratin treatment, cut and style. Yes I got all that done in one day. OH my gosh I’m in love with my hair. Ladies check her out you will not regret it. The salon is beautiful and in a great location with a variety of places to eat when you get hungry. Like the burger 21 next door. Very good by the way and they have veggie burgers for you vegetarians.

Absolutely fabulous salon and Elaina, the owner, is the best! I’ve had extensions done by her for almost 10 years and I’m in love. They last almost 2 years and the color matches perfectly!! I BADLY needed a haircut after waiting several years to get one due to a horrible experience in the state I used to live. I read some reviews and decided to give Belanova a call to see if they could fit me in in short notice. They not only got me in the next day, but after listening to me describe my hair and what I was looking for, insisted that I schedule my appointment with Liz.I have very long naturally curly hair and Liz gave me possibly the best hair cut I have ever had. She listened to me, was professional, and really cared about the finished product. She was also very easy to talk to, and I had a wonderful time talking with her and getting to know her. She was also extremely professional and clearly very very talented in cutting hair. I left happy, and feeling fantastic, and now this will be my go-to salon. I went in to see Pamela for a blow out and hair cut and I was so happy!! I left the salon feeling like a super star!! 🤩 My hair is naturally curly (3c curls) and it gets frizzy so easily whenever its humid outside. I was so amazed that my blowout lasted and maintained its style for several days after!! Even rainy weather didnt affect my hair. 🙌 She also did amazing job cutting my hair! I absolutely adore this salon! I went to Sandra for a balayage and haircut. I have very curly hair and im always nervous to have it cut by anyone. So I was reading through review & I saw a review about Covid, first and foremost my hair is amazing. Secondly a review should be given based on multiple aspects not just environment, now to address the previous review regarding Covid, the surplus of Covid protocol was refreshing. The sanitation between clients. Salon was not too crowded. “Note the sign on the door” Liz actually did my hair & did have a mask. (Ps: She’s an amazing Stylest who listens to your wants and executes it perfectly) I didn’t notice any young or old clients walking around with out masks on. Those that where conversing did have masks on as well, so not sure what she saw, also I would like to point out that while the virus is transferred through nose & mouth ie respiratory droplets, not sure why she thinks we can get it through our eyes, lol I mean if that was the case should we start walking around with goggles ? Sorry just want to help clarify for those that are worried, you are save at Belanova! Businesses are struggling to stay alive & reviews do influence customers. Therefore I will be returning to the salon !

I’ve been going to Belanova for 3 years. Sandra is my girl. I have long hair and I’ very picky when it comes to cuts. Sandra always cuts it so amazing and my hair always grows back healthy. I cannot get my haircut anywhere else. Thank you Sandra and Belanova staff.

I’ve been coming to Belanova for 3 years now and wouldn’t go anywhere else. I drive from Wesley Chapel to see Sandra and Nisa. Sandra has amazing color skills and really takes the time to listen to what you want. She is always on time and respects your time. Nisa has done my makeup and is a miracle worker. She has skills that are out of this world. Nisa can always find me an appointment and always has a smile on her face when I walk in.

I discovered Belanova Salon recently as I just moved to Tampa. I am very nervous starting with anyone new for my hair but I will tell yall that I absolutely LOVE BELANOVA SALON! Elizabeth is the bomb!! She listens and did an amazing job on my hair. I also must make mention of the wonderful and accommodating staff. Everyone is so friendly and makes me feel so welcome.
