    Jay is a great stylist - best haircut I have ever had. As a male I had reservations about going to a salon/stylist but Jay makes the appointments so comfortable, casual, and talkative I feel like I’m at the barbershop. I can tell that Jay has a passion for her work and it shows in the product and services she delivers.

    Vanessa has been doing my hair for almost 5 years now and there is no one else I’d rather go to. She knows what I want before I do and exceeds my expectations every visit. She is a balayage expert! Vanessa and the rest of the Hair Lab team are very kind and welcoming and help make what could be a 5+ hour visit very relaxing.

    I’ve been coming here for the past two years, I had made the decision to grow my hair out for the first time in my life so when I finally got some length I went ahead and booked an appointment. My hair was still short, even for a traditionally masculine aesthetic but I knew I wanted to at least get it to a point where it would flow and blend together. Jay took me under their wing and coached me through the entire process. They worked with me to mitigate the awkward stages of growing from a short and firm fade to my current style of just below the shoulder, it flows perfectly and has great layering. I have no idea how I would have gotten my hair to where it is now if it weren’t for them. I am incredibly thankful for their time, effort, and care.

    I had an appointment here about a week and a half ago and my experience was amazing! The entire staff was super friendly and knowledgeable and the salon itself was very nice. I had my hair colored, cut and styled by Vanessa who did an fantastic job. She took the time to listen to me and my indecisiveness about what I wanted to do with my hair and she was very precise with hearing me out to give me exactly what I wanted, and she did just that! My hair came out perfect. During my hair appointment I was able to get my lashes done by Gabby. I got a lash lift and tint and I am absolutely in love with how they came out! She is amazing and I’m really looking forward to going back to get more services with her, seeing as she offers so many different things, and can’t wait to do my lashes again when the time comes!Overall the salon was great, the staff was amazing and I highly recommend going here for your hair/esthetic needs!! ♥️

    I got a haircut for the first time with Jay, they were super sweet and gave me exactly the style I wanted - a textured French bob. They were great at communicating to make sure the cut was exactly right for me. Love how they used razor cutting to add texture to my otherwise flat hair. I scheduled myself for a 2hr haircut for a first time client, but since it ended up taking less time, they charged me for a 1 hr 15 min haircut. Thanks Jay!

    I had an appointment with Gabby for a brow tint and wax. I wanted to treat myself for my birthday and it was my first time ever doing something to my eyebrows so I was a little nervous. She was incredible! Super friendly, on time and my eye brows looked amazing! They lasted for about a month but literally every person I talked to I bragged about how great they looked. Something so small yet made me feel so confident and sexy :) 10/10 recommend and will be a returning customer.

    Beautifully well kept, clean establishment with wonderful service. The stylist, Sarah, is well-educated to the point that she even has student stylist women apprenticing and learning from her directly.Sarah took me through what she was doing during the cut which I liked because this was my first cut in 6 years from long hair to a much shorter style.Overall, I had a great salon experience and loved the way my hair came out and as an added bonus Sarah has a great Scottish accent!

    I came to Kayla with extremely damaged hair and color correction needed from a bad experience with a different stylist. She took the time to hear where I want to be with my hair and we worked out a plan. She took the time to explain the steps and my color and cut is amazing! She recommended products to bring life back to my hair and was extremely knowledgeable. I was hiding my hair in hats and ponytails and she’s made me feel human again.

    Ask for Kayla!Covid quarantine did a number on my hair and my color and style were in need of a makeover.     I had been shopping in Tampa for a salon that does microblading. The salon that was recommended was booked far in advance and had an issue that my previous microblading was done out of state, and warned me that they may refuse me because of that! I was glad to get a referral to Gabby at Hair Lab Tampa. Not only was she professional and informative, she sculpted my eyebrows with precision. I highly recommend Gabby for all of your eyebrow needs.

I noticed everything was very clean and the lab has aesthetically pleasing decor. I’m very excited for my color appointment on the 15th! Keep up the great work!
