    I’ve been seeing Andres for about 16 years. Of all the hairdressers I’ve tried in Tampa, he has the best understanding of hair behavior, approaches to natural coloring, haircuts that grow out exceptionally well, styling that is en vogue, and great customer service. My husband, who is VERY particular, also goes to Andres. And, now our 2 boys, who have thick gorgeous hair, also get their haircut with him. Just know that if you’re getting your haircut elsewhere, you’re not with the best in Tampa.

    My hair has never felt healthier. Andres did an amazing job with my hair cut and style. I got so many compliments about it. Plus, he thoroughly explained to me on how to style my hair at home so I could make it cute every day. I’ve rarely had a hair stylist help me recreate my hair style for home, or they style my hair in such a way that it’s impossible for me to do myself! They were very accommodating with my work schedule and booking me same week. I definitely plan to continue going back there and recommend it highly. Also, Connor is awesome too!

    Andres was a magician! I felt like I was on a makeover show. His cut and color skills are amazing. He’s very friendly and knowledgeable. My hairdresser of 15 years retired on me and after looking everywhere, I’m so glad I found him!

    Claudia and Andres at L.A. Gallery Hair & Make-Up are a wonderful team...I love this salon! Andres is an extremely talented stylist. He cuts my hair in such a precise way that it always has a great and natural shape whether I use a hair drier or not. As my hair grows the cut/color look as good as when I walk out of his salon. I looked several years after moving to this area for someone who truly knew how to cut/style/color hair. Finally finding Andres and this salon was worth the long search.

    Jessica is a great stylist...just had a fantastic cut and color. She really takes the time to listen to her clients and give them her undivided attention. She is great with color, an obvious natural skill for her. I love that she asks me a lot of questions, each time, to see what has changed with my hair and what I want to change in my look. Such a happy person as well. Im very glad to have found her.

    I always go to Jessica and she is completely amazing. She takes her time and listens so carefully to find out exactly what style your looking for and achieves it every time. I have had a keratin treatment done by her and it has been life changing for me. It has lasted now four months and looks and feels beautiful. I get compliments on my hair all the time and I owe that completely to her. Jessica is always kind, patient, caring, and treats your hair as if it were her own. L.A. Gallery staff is always welcoming and the environment is so clean and professional, I love it.

    I live part-time here in Tampa and travel back to Toronto when I need my hair done because, frankly, I havent been impressed or blown away by the colour or cuts Ive seen on the women here in Tampa. Long story short, circumstances found me in need of a stylist while I was here in town. After many hours spent on line, I decided on giving Andres a try, it appeared that he had solid training, a great reputation and I liked what I saw on the gallery of work hes done. To start, he took his time examining the texture and quality of my hair, the shape and cut that was already established. My stylist back home had provided me with my colour information; I provided that to Andres and he immediately understood what I wanted to achieve. He had suggestions and was very gracious when I declined--a true professional dedicated to serving the client, not his ego. In addition to receiving a fabulous cut and colour, he was warm and engaging, keeping me informed on what he was doing with each step. For me, in addition to my personal satisfaction with a cut and colour, the hallmark of a job well done is when other people stop me and ask who did my hair. After my visit to L.A. Gallery, I headed over to the International Mall and sure enough, I was stopped and asked who did my hair. Thank you Andres for a lovely afternoon...it feels great to know that I now have a go to here in Tampa!

    Jessica is a fantastic stylist! I have been going to her for many years. She is very knowledgeable and always has great ideas on the best cut and color for my busy life. I love that she truly listens to her clients’ needs and gives me great tips to maintain great hair at home. If you are looking for someone that knows her stuff, look no further!

    Andreas is absolutely fantastic! I have had my hair cut all over the United States and this (i.e. since Andreas has been cutting my hair for the last two years) is the best haircut I have ever had in my life. I have long, thick, coarse hair and he is able to give me the long, layered, full, sexy look I love! It is obvious that Andreas is GOOD. He is truly SKILLED in what he does. He understands hair, how it moves, how the style will fit your lifestyle, how it will frame your face, and what maintenance it will require. Moreover, he takes the time to listen, truly understand your desires, and allows himself the necessary time to devote to you and your hair without being rushed. On top of this, Andreas has a welcoming personality, the salon is beautiful, and Claudia couldn’t be nicer or more helpful. I will never go anywhere else. I have NEVER gotten more compliments on my hair than since Andreas has started cutting my hair. I cannot recommend him or LA Gallery any higher.

    Jessica was my hairstylist. She is amazing!! She will take your idea on what you want done with color and style and slay it!! Shes very professional. She takes her time to make sure everything she is doing is correct and looks great! I have some difficult hair to work with its very curly and very thick. She knew exactly how to deal with it shes very knowledgable in her field so any curly hair girls around Jessica is your girl ! I love my new look and Jessica will be my permanent hair stylist moving forward! Thanks girl!

    I’ve been getting my haircut with Jessica for awhile now- She did such a great job that I followed her when she left a previous hair salon. I’ve never been one to find one stylist and stick with them but I have with Jessica so that definitely should tell you how happy I am. I have a very busy and erratic work schedule but she’s extremely easy to contact and set up an appointment. Highly recommend Jessica and LA Gallery!

    Jessica P. has been cutting my hair for several years. She also cuts my husbands hair. His hair is thick and silver and she knows just how to make his hair look thick and full and little longer than when he was working. My hair is fine and thinning, but her ability to make the most of what Ive got is really appreciated. I trust her to do her magic on both of us and we appreciate her ability to exceed expectations. We book our appointments together and love the peace and calm of L.A. Gallery.

    Andrés was amazing. I had a conditioning treatment, haircut and hair styling. He took the time to ask me about my daily routine to come up with the most conducive hair style to fit that routine. The entire staff was friendly and the place was beautifully decorated and clean. I highly recommend it

    Andres Tobar has been styling my hair since 2003, so I trust him like a big brother. While cutting my hair, he told me that my hair is the perfect candidate for a Brazilian Blowout treatment. I have very thick, wavy, Asian hair, so I booked an appointment for the following week. The Brazilian Blowout is a hair smoothing treatment that smooths your hair, eliminates frizz and seals the cuticle to prevent damage all while adding moisture and shine. The process only took 1.5 hours and it was worth it! The Brazilian Blowout treatment has given my hair so much smoothness, shine and ease in styling that I’ve never experienced before. My hair air-dries smooth and shiny, but I can blow-dry and heat style it in less than 30 minutes! This treatment is a must for us ladies with frizzy or curly hair living in humid Tampa, Florida. Your hair will always look and feel fabulous, even in the hot Florida summer! He told me that the treatment can last up to 35-40 washes while using the sulfate-free products from their salon. I’m on week 6 of my Brazilian Blowout and it is still going strong. My hair has never felt this SOFT and looked this GOOD! I’ll be back for another treatment once this one fades away. Thank you for always taking good care of me, Claudia and Andres! See you guys soon :)

    I have been seeing Andres for over a year now and could not be happier! The hi lites that I receive from Andres are absolutely perfect and look more natural than any other hi lites I have ever seen. He is precise and a perfectionist and it definitely shows. I receive more compliments on my hair now than ever before. Not only does the color and style look great, but the health of my hair has taken a huge turn as well. Andres will educate you on how to achieve the best results with your hair and how to style at home. The products are amazing as well.. (B&B Invisible Oil is my favorite!)I absolutely recommend LA Gallery.. again & again!

    Their staff is extremely talented and professional, the salon is spotless, and has a cool vibe.I walked in one day out of curiosity and met the owners, who are just beautiful human beings inside and out. They make everyone feel comfortable, and they even offer 25% off to new clients.Since then, weather Im stopping in for a quick wash and style before family dinner or doing a full color transformation, my hair always comes out so amazing but so natural.

    I love Sam ! She is an amazing stylist. She gave me a great cut that actually suites my type of hair, since the layering it has so much more body and I actually love wearing my hair down! She also does my color and being blonde Ive had a lot of experience with unflattering tones , but not with Sam every time its the most beautiful color and always get compliments. She also always follows up with me to make sure Im happy with everything. I highly recommend going to her, she is fantastic at what she does and makes you feel so at home in her chair

    I finally found a salon that I LOVE. Everyone there is SO nice and knowledgable!! I was getting my hair dyed from red to blonde, which is quite hard to do.. I have seen other stylists that wouldve just fried my hair or turn it some weird color, but Samantha and Andres were gentle with my hair, knew the best process to take, and my hair turned out great..and soft!! They also offered me tea while I was there and made me feel completely comfortable and relaxed :) I absolutely recommend this place to anyone!!!

    Ive received so many compliments on my hair since Ive started as a client with Sam. Shes a whiz with color - my ombre / balyange looks so natural. Considering the mess I came to her with, its a hair miracle that she was able to fix it in one visit. Ive been to the big name salons in Tampa, and Sam is by leaps and bounds the best stylist Ive been to. Shes super laid-back with scheduling, totally accommodates later appointments and weekends, and makes every visit feel like catching up with a buddy.

    I never write reviews but I love Andre and his wife so much I decided to write a one. Let me tell you, I have lived in Tampa, Gainesville, and recently Memphis and have not had a hair cut as fabulous as the one Andre did for me.My first appointment (a year ago) started with a consultation with Andre asking me questions about how I style my hair, what I would like to achieve, how do I wear it, what products I use, ect. After I answered his questions, he came up with a plan for me and got to work. He spent a long time cutting my hair and explained as he went along. He took his time with me.The second, subsequently third haircuts, he has done have come out just as wondefully as the first. Ive been more to salons than I can count, but have not left as satisfied as I do when I leave LA Gallery. He continues to listen to me and my hair cuts look fantastic.Go to Andres! You will NOT be disappointed!
