    “Lubby Locs is hands down the best place for loc maintenance in Tampa! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and valued. The stylist was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and gentle with my hair. My retwist/interlocking (or any service you got) came out perfect—neat, clean, and exactly how I wanted it.     My hair is always done fabulously and with efficiency. It’s very thick and and there’s a lot of it, but JJ never complains and always provides feedback on how care for it. She is also very accommodating in the event of personal crisis that may occur. One of the best experiences and best stylists I’ve ever had.

    First of all it was a holiday, and she came to do my hair, I felt so at home, I just started my Locs in February, so I’m not use to the beginning stages, so I was wearing a wig, I told her that and she said we gonna fix that, I want u to love your Locs, so I let her do what ever she wanted to do, I love love love my Locs today, I can’t wait to see where this journey take me . She get a 100 stars from me💕

    My experience was a quality one. I liked the fact that I was asked for my input throughout. She was very informative & patient when questions were asked. The shop was clean & conversation was quality as well. Ive been to the shop on various occasions & everyone I spoke to was respectful & easy going. I got my moneys worth 😌 ... i dont know about the others who left one star. I had my appointment rescheduled & she was nice enough to explain why. Life happens so being flexible is appreciated. The only advice Id give new clients is bring snacks & a positive attitude. I went from corner store Corey to lookout Larry. Everyone who saw her work had positive feed back. I could tell by how the all haters looked at me , it was quality 👌🏽 work. Prices are good as well.

    This was my first visit with Lubby & she exceeded my expectations. She took her time to evaluate my hair and made sure she did the best treatment to get my locs in the best condition. We also came up with a plan to continue for further appointment. 10 out of 10 I recommend .

    Man honestly where can I start, this how I knew I was coming to right person. So on the day of my appointment, she text me saying, if I’m tender headed take a Tylenol. I’m extremely tender headed 😂. Then 20mins later, she called me and said she was going to the store, do I want anything. Forget her affordable prices, forget her excellent professionalism, forget how nice her office is.. 😂😂 she offered me food, my barber that I’ve been going too for decades never offered me food, I be on his chair dying, and he’ll eat right in front of me. But long story short, short story long, she’s a people person, not just a professional hairstylist/loctician. She really cares about her clients, it’s not just you pay me for a service and that’s it. And she put on Netflix for me too ❤️. We had beautiful conversation, theirs also a barber in there, we talk about football, life, our kids, etc etc .. She’s very nice, very professional, she cares, extremely affordable and made me look sexy!! 😂 so thank you!.. I recommend booking with Lubby Loc’s. You won’t regret it!

    My experience with Lubby’s Locs has been amazing. She started off doing my son’s hair and she brought it back to life after I had messed it all up. After that I decided to start my loc journey. JJ is attentive to my hair care needs and she is so supportive while on this journey. I love my hair!!!
