    I had such an amazing experience with Kenna! She was incredibly sweet, easygoing, and laid-back, making the whole appointment feel so comfortable. You can tell by her positive energy that she truly loves and cares about her craft. Before we even started, she took the time to really understand what I wanted, which made me feel so at ease. Throughout the session, I felt completely relaxed and trusted her expertise.     Ive been on the hunt for a new salon and came across Salon Cypress, so I booked an appointment with Kayla. Right away, the vibe walking up was earthy and homey, totally different from most salons. One of the best surprises? The wash station chairsā€”they actually have a cushion for your neck, so youre not stuck with a sink digging into you. Such a nice touch!Kayla did an amazing job. I wanted to switch things up, and she really took the time to work with me to create a cut I love. She didnā€™t just rush throughā€”she blew out and curled my hair, spending way more time than I expected. I couldnā€™t be happier with the results, and Iā€™m more than happy to leave five stars!

    I come from a long line of barbers. Iā€™m not a barber myself but barbering goes back 3 generations on my fatherā€™s side, all the way to my great grandfather in Italy so I know a good barber when I see one. I started getting cut by Matt Southerland about a year and a half ago and I was impressed from day one. Matt cuts with absolute precision, his scissor and fade skills are top tier and he listens to exactly what kind of cut youā€™re looking for and then executes to perfection. He also offers excellent conversation and hospitality and heā€™s just an all around good dude. Iā€™d highly recommend Matt to anyone looking for the best cut in Tampa.

    What a wonderful salon! From the moment you walk in, you feel relaxed and welcome. Itā€™s a beautiful space, the staff is friendly, there are a variety of snacks and drinks, and the shampoo chairs are actually comfortable!! Carrie does a great job with my hair. You can tell right away that she has tons of experience and knowledge about coloring hair. She really pays attention to the details, listens to your input on what you are looking for, and always does a fabulous job. All around great experience here!

    Kayla Hacker is the BEST stylist! She knows hair through and through and is so knowledgeable about the best care and style for your individual hair. She is incredibly gracious and empowering and helped me so much with helping me find my own style. She even did a tutorial for me and taught me how to curl my hair! It is evident this salon cares deeply for every individual who walks through the door. I also appreciate they support other local businesses with their products in their salon, such as amazing Spaddys coffee at their custom beverage bar! Theyre also very positive and good to people. So often when you go to a high-end hair salon, it can feel pretentious. Salon Cypress is very inclusive and welcoming of all. Cant thank them enough!

    I come to Salon Cypress for barber Matt Southerland. Ive been going to him for years as hes moved around barber shops in Tampa. Hes excellent at what he does, pays attention to detail, doesnt rush, and takes great care of you. I also like that he washes your hair after the cut if you want him to.. not all barbers offer this service. Salon Cypress is fairly easy to get to and has a large gravel/grass parking lot... it hasnt been that busy the times Ive been there and is very clean.

I will say, the details, care and concern put into my haircut by Meera was amazing. It made me feel like a new person and view my haircut as something much more than just a haircut.
