My 11 year old had her first salon experience today and it was perfect, thanks to Jade! Jade was kind and made her feel super comfortable. She asked her how she liked to wear her hair (she got a silk press) and she even gave us some after care tips on how to preserve her hair. She did such an amazing job, and this is the silkiest I have ever seen my daughter’s thick, curly hair! We were in and out in about 2 hours! This was our first time visiting this salon in general and it was very clean, beautifully decorated and a very welcoming atmosphere. The owner LaToya was also there doing clients’ hair and you can tell she really takes pride in her work too, she is so talented! We drove over 45 minutes to visit, and it was well worth the drive. I thought it was important to leave a real, honest review because I was becoming discouraged trying to find a nice salon that takes care of their clients’ natural hair, doesn’t have crazy policies, is affordable AND accepts children. Thank God we have Salon Spice— they really are a gem! We will definitely be back, I’m so happy we found Jade, LaToya and this beautiful salon! -

Mrs Toya did my daughters hair for her 16th birthday and we are beyond impressed. We both felt welcome and enjoyed the visit. She made recommendations that really helped bring my daughters hair back to life! I also watched her do other styles while I waited and all of them were flawless. Ill be making myself an appointment soon! -

After searching for a hairstylist in both Florida and Georgia, by far this is the Greatest salon I’ve came across in the South! Toya is amazing at what she does! Takes great care of natural hair as well as extensions. So nice and shows great hospitality. Will definitely be traveling from Atlanta just to have her do my hair again. -

I arrived in Tampa almost two years ago, and I found Salon Spice. Toya is absolutely the best stylist, and Im so happy to have found her. My hair has grown enormously going natural although I do wear weave, but I leave some out to look more natural. I was a person that I always had to have a perm, but she has broken me, and I love it! -

I purchased hair from Latoya (Silk Press 18) and I love the hair. Very good quality. She is very warm and professional. I am new to Tampa so was worried about where to get hair from but was referred to her. I am happy I went! it was very easy to purchase online and pickup at the store! I have to go let her do my hair for me next! I highly recommend going here!! -

Love love love this place Selena & Sha is the lady to see. Professional, clean, absolutely fantastic hair salon. Chemical treatments, blow outs, hair cuts, silk press, hair extensions, braids, hair coloring, they do it all. I am so glad I found this place its a hiding gem. -
